Ronda IV Apartments

We booked 10 nights at this complex for a mere £166, which we thought was very good value. The room was a little old fashioned but spotlessly clean. The room was also cleaned to a good standard several times during our visit. The bed sofa was the only down side, It was very uncomfortable and we took turns sleeping on it. We had a sea view that also overlooked the swimming pool. The beach was only a few metres away across the road. The whole building was cleaned daily and the staff were pleasant and polite. The swimming pool was excellent but very cold, probably due to the time of year.
The beach was also very clean with no signs of any rubbish at all. The location is at the more quiet end of the resort, but there are still plenty of cheap cafe / restaurants. We hired a car and it should be noted that it only costs 1.70 Euros to park on the front where there are blue broken lines. Tickets are issued for no payment, but only cost 3 Euros in any machine if paid in 24 hours, otherwise it is a 60 Euro fine. We tried several restaurants during our visit and can recommend Oscars, located down fish alley, 7.25 Euros for a good quality three course meal in nice surroundings. The places are often booked several days in advance. It s also worth a visit to the nearby old town of Mijas, which is a typical Spanish town with beautiful views over the coast. All in all a very nice place and will visit again in the future.
