Grand Hotel Francais Reviews
" This was the first holiday that I... "
Submitted By: Mr D Fullard
This was the first holiday that I went on with my girlfriend, and it will no doubt not be the last to Paris. In fact, I already plan to do it all again and go back to Paris because there is so much more to do!
<br>
We stayed in Paris for 4 days, in a super, lovely hotel, the Grand Hotel Francais, which was located near the Marais in the East of Paris. The hotel was fantastic, the staff made us feel so welcomed! We travelled around using the Metro, which I must admit, got a little frustrating at times, but it was the best way to travel.
<br>
We arrived in the morning on day one, and tried to fit in as much as we could, even though we were tired. We visited the Catacombs, Sacré Coeur and went up the Montparnasse tower, which had fantastic views! Especially at night!
<br>
On day two, we wanted to get to the Eiffel Tower early to avoid queues, but there were still queues. Needless to say, it was still enjoyable. We also made a quick visit to Louvre art gallery, and it had to be quick because there is so much to see! We did some shopping, which is essential in Paris! And we also cruised the Seine! We ate that night in style!
<br>
We visited Disneyland on the Friday, to bring out our youth. This was very fun, despite queues, so ignore anyone who tells you that you should be seeing the sights of Paris instead!
<br>
On the last day, we also had to fit in as much possible, because we were leaving in the afternoon. So sad that felt. We did manage to go to a park, and visit a graveyard and the Picasso museum!
All in all, this was the best holiday I’ve ever had!
