We spent a week at this site and it is the best we have been. All the staff are happy and welcomed us ,a very well run site and very clean. The caravan was very clean and the linen etc, they all worked so hard to make sure you had everything you needed,Check in was quick no problems and the same when we left very well run.
The walk to the beach was good and you pass a nature reserve mud flats with lots of wild life so nice
Thank you Haven for a great holiday the childre loved it

On arrival the staff, and that includes security, were very helpful and charming. The site was very well laid out,and exceptionally clean. The caravan was very clean and looked like new,and had all the features stated. Our party consisted of 3 senior citizens and we really only wanted a base for visiting Portsmouth & Southsea, but it gave us much more.
The site is very family orientated and caters for children in an exceptional way.The showbar entertainment being first class for children and adults. In our time we have been on many sites of this type but this one rates as one of the very best.We would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Having been to Blackpool haven last year I wasn't expecting that much from Church Farm, I was shocked at how wrong I was, the grounds were spotless we did not see any litter on the floor at any time, the caravan was alot better than I was exprcting, it lookeed brand new. The complex looked clean and well kept, the play area for the children was bigger than other parks I have been to and the staff couldn't have been any more helpful. Kids loved everything that this park had to offer, they can't wait to go back next year.

as a regular holiday maker to butlins in bognor regis i tend to compare all holidays elsewhere to this family favourite
due to lack of funds this year we chose church farm as an alternative to our normal choice (it was cheap and close to an arrear my family know and love) we booked a week at havens church farm and was not expecting much
BUT my family was very pleased with the week we have just had the caravan we stayed in was big enough to hold the 7 of us in comfort
the caravan park is beside a beautiful lagoon and nature reserve it makes a family walk a treat stopping to feed the ducks and swans and sitting on the bench to look around a glorious panoramic veiw of the visible caravans on the lake if you continue the walk through the lagoon area you come across the pathway that takes you to pagham harbour it has a stoney beach (but as regulars to bognor which this is basicaly a part of we are used to the terrain) on low tide a war time mullberry harbour is sometimes visible from the beach so theres a peice of history there in the sea as a hidden bonus
all entertainment (pools games room pub and entertainments club) spar supermarket and hire shop are all sited together near the camps enterance which can be annoying if (like us )your caravan is on the far side of the camp and so a ten minute walk was needed to go for a swim have a drink or buy some eggs
the indoor swimming pool must have been designed by dr who as it has the tardis effect you look through the large windows from the outside and think its tiny yet when you are inside its quiet a full size the outdoor pool has various tempretures we tried it one day and got out after 30 seconds of ice torture yet the next day the water was a very good warm tempreture
as we took our holiday during the last week of school term the evening entertainment was done by the onsite funstars (the haven equivalent of redcoats) but it was all very good fun .i must point out the entertainments manager liam and his team are very good hosts and allways went out of their way to please you if you needed help with anything - later in the week (friday onwards) as it was officially school holiday time real caberet acts from outside of the camp took over the evening entertainment
the mash and barrel bar sited by the outdoor pool is the evenings choice for on site food outlet its your typical witherspoon/beefeater type pub food stuff burgers, pasta (unspicy)curry and kids menu but if you want a meal after nine pm forget it.its closed for food
the other food outlet on camp is the fish and chip stall in the amusement arcade yet that too has an early closing time if all food cooked and on show is sold before ten the shutters come down which is strange because i dont know about you ,but if ive had a pint or seven the first thing i want to do after visiting the toilet is eat
there are a regular bus service running from just before 7 in the morning to just aftert 11 at night just outside of the camp running into bognor regis or chichester for those like me who dont drive
all those who are thinking of giving it a try GO we had great fun and a real good time we put our deposit on for next july before we left

Reading some of the reviews already posted on this site, the park must have had a big overhaul this those visits as we had an excellent time!
We stayed in a Prestige Caravan and it was much better than expected, spotlessly clean and well positioned for all facilities. It was cold when we arrived so requested extra duvets which were promptly delivered. The staff could not have been more helpful! Children had great fun in the indoor pool (lovely and warm), playing Crazy Golf and in the play area. The also had great fun on the Go Karts which cost extra but keep them entertained for an hour at a time. There are also lots of other activities including Archery, Fencing, and pool activities. These cost extra but are all well run. They also provide free Football Training but book on arrival as it fill up quickly because, well, it's free!
The entertainment is a bit cheesy, bingo and cabaret, but family friendly and the staff work hard to keep both adults and children entertained. We did not use the restaurant as the facilities in our caravan were good enough for us to cook through out our stay. As you'd expect, the on-site shop is expensive, but there is a Tesco Express just up the road or a 10 min drive to Chichester gets you Lidl or Sainsburys. All in all, if you want a value for money break, where the kids have loads to do, can make new friends, and you can relax knowing they are safe then this is a great place.

After reading reviews was concerned as to what we were going to find but it was lovely, on arrival we got an upgrade for 50 pound, caravan had heating in the bedroom and a dvd played, blind did fall down in the bathroom and when I came to use a frying pan there was a choice of 2 1 was dirty and the other had a broken handle!
Swimming pool was lovely and warm and really liked the shallow one, both my kids could walk in without getting out of their depth, play park was nice, entertainment was good and staff were all really friendly, well stocked shop but no skips for younger children!
Didnt use the restaurant as have two young children that dont stay still for long but the menu had a good choice for adults and children, was reasonably priced and meals looked a good size, we did try the chip shop, fish was ok and chips were the best weve every had, yum yum

After reading all the other reviews, I was a bit concerned about going to church farm, we were worried as we had already booked! But to our surprise we had a brilliant time. This was our first time caravanning and it was very clean, plenty of room, we asked for extra blankets and they arrived within an hour.
The children entertainment: My two children (aged 3 and 6 yrs) had a brilliant time collecting medals, certificates and dancing the night away!!!!! - Entertainment crew were great.
The children loved the indoor pool. We took their scooter as we were told the bikes to hire was expensive which was true. If you have children its a good idea to take 2p's with you for the slot machines!!!! (at least this is not braking the bank) and keeps them happy!
The price of drinks: small glass of wine and a bottle of bottle of beer £6.00 not sure if this is expensive.
Within the village of Pagham there is a Tesco, Chippy, Indian, Chinese, 3 pubs and a Cafe. 2 miles away in a village called Rose Green has the main stores, everything you need.

You may be wondering why I have given this park such a high rating compared to other reviewers. It's probably down to a couple of facts. I have no children and did not go to the park at a peak time.
We paid £78 for a Monday to Friday break via The Sun newspaper and made a point of not up-grading until I had seen the "basic" accomodation.
Pagham is a very quiet place, which I was greatful for. The holiday park was spotless and the staff were friendly. The check in times were strictly stuck to, which some people found frustrating but once check-in commenced it went smoothly and quickly. Our caravan was on the St James section of the park. The caravan seemed very new, was spotless and well stocked with fresh linnen (which we'd actually opted out of having, but hey ho), crockery and all cooking utensils - including salt in the salt shaker.
There are a few things to watch out for....The fish & chip shop on site, don't take your chances, the chips were nothing to write home about. Instead theres a good selection of take-aways dotted around pagham. theres a chippy down Sea Lane, a chineese chippy on Pagham road (this one delivers to your caravan!), an indian, although we didn't spot one - theres bound to be a Pizza place too!
The bike hire at the park is EXPENSIVE - £20 per bike per day seemed rediculous. If in doubt, bring your own. The park offer wi-fi which my other half paid for . It was £10 for 24hrs. Was this expensive? - considering the reasons we needed it, I think the charge was OK. It was secure and quick.
One last little tiny gripe - it was very cold when we went - sunny but very windy. The heating in the caravan did little to get us warm, it barley took the chill of the air.
All in all though - the lagoon and nature reserve that the farm is next to is a great place to have a stroll around. The standard of basic caravan was fantastic, big and spotless. The decked area of the resturant/bar was a good size and nicely done. If you need supplies try the co-op or the Tesco Express both down the road less than 3 miles away.
If you have kids and want a fun filled time with them during their school hols - then this park may not be for you - it's easy to see that the facilities will get far too busy - theres a huge number of caravans at this site. BUT for a couple for a good quick quiet break, then this place has to be considered.

After hearing about Haven's award winning caravan sites, I was looking forward to enjoying a good week at Church Farm. I was badly disappointed. The initial assault of the gaming and video game arcade as you checked in had me reeling. The security man (no receptionist) was surly and leered over my wife seeming to be more interested in her breasts than pointing us in the right direction to check in. We had to come back to him after failing to find check in and it turned out that he could check us in anyway! Obviously a 'jobs worth'! The caravan was clean enough but the fridge was tiny and had a shelf missing which meant we could not put a lot of our stuff in it. We asked reception four times over the next few days for a new shelf but to no avail. We also lacked a fish slice which was listed on the inventory and essential to fry an egg. We had to ask three times before they finally got us one of those. The WiFi facilities were ridiculously expensive at £5 an hour or £35 for the week! Also we were misled by reception as to how it worked, and were told that you could pay £5 and you could log in and out over the week until you used up the hour. I logged in to check it was working and logged straight out again. Two hours later I tried to use it and it said my hour had expired! The pool was too small for the size of the park and about 80% of the lockers were broken! The owners had exclusive use of the pool at certain times which meant they always got the working lockers leaving everyone else to fend for themselves. The drinks at the constantly sticky bar (they don't believe in cloths I think!) were shoddily served. A gin and tonic was always served in a half pint beer glass and with a tiny sliver of ice. No lemon even when requested. I could go on but my fingers need a rest. Some of these gripes may sound a little pernickity but it all adds up to a horrible experience.

On arrival we were pleased with our caravan, it was clean and spacious and better than we expected. The site was quiet, and to be honest there was nothing to do on the site apart from crazy golf (where parents let their children run wild swinging clubs around and fighting over balls). There was an outdoor pool full of dirty smelly water, the indoor pool, and clubhouse were both too small for the amount of people staying on the site.
The restaurant and shop both ran out of food. The area of the country where this park is sited is really quiet and there is nothing really to do if you have children, no funfairs or shops, the historic boats at Portsmouth are really expensive about £35.00 for a family of four and if you have your dog you cannot do anything as this is not a dog friendly area.
There is a really good cafe at Pagahm really reasonable with nice food, breakfast is only £2.95, full english. We would not recommend this Haven site and definitely not go back again to this area of the country there is nothing to do it is boring. We couldn't wait to get home again!!

We come to pagham all the time as it is a very nice site and everyone is so friendly. The security guards always say hello to you when you walk past. The entertainment team are really good and are really polite. The sports and leasure staff always make you feel happy and at ease especially Ben And ANDERS:)Nice to go for a walk along the beach. we bought an activity pass before we came down as you get it half price if ordered before the holiday. The carts are great fun and we had a really good time doing archary:-). Looking forward to coming down pagham again soon.
