we go to this site every year and love it! so close 2 everything! we booked online and was given a privatly owned caravan which was lovely! had an ensuite shower and toilet! a washing machine! a ramp going up to the caravan with a patio area was quite handy with a pushchair! entertainment is great for the kids! but adults entertainment dont start until much later which by then my kids were too tired and we had to go back to the caravan! staff are very friendly! next year we have chosen to go to a different haven for a change but still plan to go for a short break aug next year as well! lovely park! =)

We were 2 adults plus a 1 an 3 year old and stayed in a 2 bed Prestige Caravan. We found the whole site very clean our caravan was immaculate and looked as if the fixtures and fittings were new. Spacious with loads of storage space - more storage space than we actually needed which is certainly a plus point. Kitchen well eqipped. Caravan had a bathroomn with shower plus an en suite toilet and basin. We were right opposite the Mash & Barrell, pool, splash park so had an excellent location.
Everything on the site was pricey in particular Spar and Papa Johns (rip off). There is a local Asda a 2.5 miles away. Various leaflets were dropped around the caravans for take-aways in town that delivered. We only tried Noble House Chinese which was foul ... threw it away.
The only downside we really found was there was not much put on for the pre-school age group for entertainment (we stayed outside school holidays) but what there was they thoroughly enjoyed.

Just had my first week end in a caravan at seashore, check in was effortless and took a matter of minutes,
nice pleasent staff etc the van itself was immaculate in every way and included on suite, the whole site was very clean and tidy. Food at the mash and barrel was quality and was also reasonably priced,as were the drinks at the club at night. swimming for the kids was good as were the other on site activities, the sand dunes and beach opposite are beautiful and worth a walk,we went into yarmouth a few times which was very nice (must have been revamped not so long back cause it was really tidy etc)
a day wrist band at the amusemant park was well worth it,lots of good rides for kids etc. we had a great break, will definately be going back.the only down side was the fact i had to listen to people who have nothing better to do than constantly moan about anything and everything just for the sake of it,please remember it says nothing in the brochure about 24/7 entertainment, sometimes you mite have to entertain your self. and if you want stuff at netto prices and netto quality find a netto and cook it yourself, and finally yes you do need to travel a mile and a half into yarmouth but i for one did`nt want a caravan at the side of the waltzer thanks.
- Advice: if u expect quality food & drink for nothing take your own. if u pay for nice food at the going rate eat on site

we went to seashore with the sun holidays and paid for an upgrade i was pleased with the caravan it was obviosly new and very clean.i was most impressed with the 'sealed'toilet a nice touch. the staff were very welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. the entertainment was a tad cheesy i'm afraid but what can you expect it's all for kids. one or two small down sides, the cash hole in the wall didn't work and the burger king was really expensive. the bright side is the bar isn't that much dearer than the town ,the camp is really clean and looks totally different when we went there last.i would reccomend seashore if you dont pay top whack for a caravan it's staff and caravans are a lot nicer than 5 yaers ago.

Just got back from a 3 night break at seashore with my boyfreind and 2 children aged 12,it is a loveley site and a nice place to stay but i personally wouldnt go there again. There is plenty of activities and play areas for young children and a sports court for teenagers. my daughter and her freind were bored alot of the time and we mainly drove off site everyday into great yarmouth seafront to keep them entertained on the pier and we also went bowling off site aswell.
the caravan was very clean when we arrived the only problem was the bedrooms with 2 beds were very small so there wasnt enough space to walk inbetween them. the freezer didnt work either and it was soo cold at night and during the day we had to leave the gas fire on all the time even while we were out. there is a hire shop onsite but it is just a rip off!! to hire a heater/heaters it cost £3.00 per day and a 10.00 deposit for each item so if we had 2 of them it would have cost us £18.00 plus a £20.00 deposit!!. the swimming pool was good kids loved the slide but they didnt have any inflatables out like in the brochure, it had to be booked free of charge but even then the kids have to be able to swim 25 metres so they couldnt even do that!!.
the mash and barrel was VERY VERY expensive £8.00 a meal and burger king was absulutley just rank!! rubery and expensive £5.00 a burger. we drove off site everyday to asda for little bits and mcds kfc and pizza hut(which was all about 2 miles from the site).
the weather was very very windy but sunny at the same time , if there was no wind it would of been nice and hot, so didnt really go on the beach.
it is nice to be so close to a sandy beach, but due to the caravan layout and driving off site into town, and the fact of everything being so expensive here i would not go again.
- Advice: make sure you have a fair amount of money to enjoy the activities on site, and for the attractions in and around the area as it can be expensive.

The accomodation cost £1000 but I have stayed in better caravans for alot less. I found alot of problems with this caravan after paying so much I expected better quality. You can't go by what the pictures in the brochure and the website show as they didn't look anything like the caravan we got. I would not go for a Prestige next time but would choose a cheaper model. They do have some lovely caravans on site but not the one I got. Didn't use the entertainment complex but heard alot of yelling and arguements when it finished. We visited the circus in Great Yarmouth and saw the Chuckle brothers and Joe Pasquela as well.
- Advice: If your not fussy about accomodation then the site is good

We went to Seashore last year for 7 nights in a Superior caravan and we were quite happy with it, plenty of room but the bedrooms and bathroom was a little smaller than we would have liked, but it was very clean and I would recommend it to friends. The only problem we had with the site was that the club at night was always full and we could never get a seat, people were going to play bingo early and then keeping the seats for their families who wasn't coming in until much later.
We went back again this year for a 4 night break, booked a prestige caravan, so we thought that it would be alot better than the caravan we stayed in last year but to be honest, it seemed the same.
The caravan was very clean, had a shower on the first night, but the shower head was broke, we reported it the very next day and by the time we got back to the caravan 5 minutes later, someone was there ready to fix it. Very happy with that.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
The club on site has been given a refit so there are alot more seats, really liked that, the toilets at the club were superb, very clean with automatic facilities.
All in all, a good place to visit, and I will be going there again soon.

We have just got back from the seashore park and i must say it was a lovely park. We only went for 4 days but ive just booked another for next year for 7 days. We had brilliant weather luckily and the outdoor splashzone was really good for the kids. We stayed in a standard plus caravan because we took our dog and it was a lot better than i expected it to be, it was very very clean and quite spacious than i thought there was lots to do and a beach right at the front of the park. I must admit the beach didnt look too good when we got there as it was all grass at first but once u get over it theres a lovely sandy beach. I would definitly recommend this park :)

On September 4th my family and I rolled into Seashore for a holiday, we'd been before and enjoyed it... but this time around... it was pure naff, the entertainment (except for one night) is TERRIBLE. The "Havenmates" or whatever name they have now, had two shows...these were poor, the toilets in the club stunk constantly of urine. The caravan was not what we asked for OR paid for... though they proclaimed it was the best one available... we paid for prestige & got a caravan even a pikey would be ashamed of... we expressed that we had a disabled person with us... but to no avail, they did not help with much. we had 2 or 3 defunct plug sockets... the fire alarm & smoke alarms did NOT have batteries... AND we were short one set of bedding too... all in all a VERY disappointing stay, and I will not be visiting that black hole again.

We have just returned from a week long break at Seashore. It was fantastic. The caravan was lovely and even had an en-suite in the large bedroom. It was clean and tidy. The check-in was quick and we had our keys 15mins early.
We have visited approx 8 other Haven sites and this one and Primrose Valley are the best so far.
The staff are friendly and polite and very helpful. One night my 3 year old ran into an older girl, cutting all the inside of his mouth, I took him into the toilet to clean him up and a lady from reception was in there, she quickly went to fetch a first aider to take a look at him for us.
The entertainment was great and fun for both the kids and the adults later on. Although it is very busy at times and hard to find a seat.
There is lots to do on site, including a climbing wall, football coaching, a large outdoor wooden play area and pedal cars. It is also 5 minutes from Great Yarmouth itself and also has access to it's own large beach.
The pool we felt was brill, all parts were open at all times (we have stayed at other parks before and nothing seems open), there are 2 large water slides, a childrens pool with small slide, a large pool and a large outdoor splash area. It was properly staffed with lifeguards checking safety at all times.
The Mash and Barrel was large and spacious and the staff were realy nice. We only ate there once as we have had bad exeriences before. Our meals arrived 10 minutes after ordering and the childrens arrived at the same time also, piping hot and were very tasty.
We were really sad to leave, and we are definately booking for next year.
