No problem at all with my mid week break at Combe Haven, The mash and barral is a modern clean and comfortable environment plus great food. my only complaint would be that a comedian (Scotty Miller) had a little boy from the audience up on stage dancing with him at the end... more

I went to combe haven in 2009 and had a great time, they do all sorts of fun live shows and children can enter talent shows and get the chance to be a show presenter for the night! lots of free facilitys such as swimming pools and shows but things like go carts and water... more

Have just holidayed at combe haven holiday park. The caravan (deluxe) was immaculte. Cleaned well throughout. The pool complex is second to none. Entertainment was great for the kids and there is plenty to do on the park during the day. Would not normally write this type of... more

Chav alert.... stay away!!!
We booked at the beginning of August expecting a nice family break on the bank holiday weekend... seemed a good rpice at £200 for a 4 star 'luxury' caravan. Myself and my wife pulled into the car park and immediately looked at each other thinking 'oh my god what have we booked'... It seemed that every Chav from every council estate around the country had converged on Hastings Combe Haven! We went to the check in point, the arcade was the epicenter of the resort ...many chavs were entranced by the flashing lights and 10p slot machines. We checked into our '4 star' caravan which turned out to be a dumphole whihc you could swing a cat in. It didn't take us long to realise this was not a place we wanted to spend the weekend... we checked in at 2.30pm and checked out at about 3.30pm... we lost £200 but someone would have to pay me more than that to stay there.. so we drove down to Brighton booked into a hotel and spent the weeked there instead. In conclusion unlessyou are a chav and want to be surrounded by other chavs for the duration of your stay..... keep far far away from Combe Haven Hastings!!!
Give it a miss!!!
Took my 2 kids and elderly parents to Combe Haven for 4 nights between 1st and 5th August on a self-catering basis. Paid almost £700 for their luxury (sic) Gold Chalet...hmmmm well if that was Gold, I hate to stay in Silver or Basic! It was cleanish, but very shabby, stained carpets, part of bathroom coving was laid in the bath and they don't even put on a toilet roll on the holder! This place has far too many people on it for the entertainment facilties available, therefore the showbars are full very early and he swimming pools become pools because their is no room to swim! The kids entertainment was OK, my little 5 year old loved it but bar that there is very little positives I can find about this place. Un-interested staff, slow service at food venues (eat offsite if you go here) and generally not the sort of place you want to spend £700 to visit again! My cousin visted a week later and left after one day, when moving a bed to accomodate a cot, they found cigarette ends and vomit on the carpet! Surprised that a company as big as Haven have allowed this park to blemish what i beleive is a reasonable reputation! [-------------------]
