The Zakantha beach hotel is a lovely hotel in a perfect location right on the beach and with in a few minutes walk to the centre of Argassi. The staff are always pleasant and helpful especially Monica in the bar. The gardens are well presented and it has a lovely swimming pool. We rounded off our evening with a drink from the bar and sat at the tables out side watching the sea and the boats coming in to Zante town it was very relaxing. We have been to this hotel four times now and will definitely return. we can also recommend a restaurant in Argassi called the blue sky the food was excellent we ate there regularly and so did a couple of other families the waiters could not do enough for you and took time to chat and shaking our hands when we left. we had a wonderful holiday and ten out of ten for the Zakantha.

We didn’t eat in the hotel or meet the rep we only slept in the hotel though it was friendly and spotless. I SERIOUSLY RECOMMEND FLOCAS THEY TREAT YOU LIKE ONE OF THE FAMILY.
We enjoyed our holiday so much we tried to get back a week after we came home. There are lots of bars and things to do but what makes it the best holiday is the people we became friends with. There’s Monica the excellent bar maid in the hotel. Phil the Aussi night watch man who’s seen it all in his time! There’s a petrol station next to the hotel and next to that is FLOCAS cafe! Anything you need they will help you, hire a car from them, we parked the car round the corner removed the ashtray bandaged our arms up and said that was all that was left of the car! The reply we got was the car is insured can be replaced you cannot! Though it was only a joke, which the whole family found hilarious! If you go there they’ll take care of you Alex and Andrea’s, and the wheeler-dealer Billy!
Tell them Kate and Sandy send there regards there’s a photo in the car hire place next door of us. WE WILL DEFINATELY BE BACK NEXT YEAR!
We arrived in Zante as strangers and left as Friends!

Cannot fault the hotel, very clean, lovely views out to sea and excellent staff, especially Monica (as mentioned above!) Very, very helpful staff.
Having traveled to many resorts in many countries, I have to say this is the worst. Yes, the staff are friendly and the food is nice, but it located on a very busy main road. People drive very fast through it. The pavements are full of pot holes.
If you like full English breakfast and karaoke then you will like it, tacky England in the sun. Those looking for traditional Greek culture, forget it.
