Very nice resort and the Dionyoss Studios are very well placed. They are approx. 5 minutes from both the beach and the main square (with all the bars).
The apartments were clean and the pool was lovely. Staff very friendly.
Bed and breakfast over the road from the apartments do lovely food and the staff are so welcoming.
I would definately stay there again.

I have just returned from the Dionysos Studios/Hotel and what a bargain it was!!
The weather was superb (as you would expect). The studio was basic but had a constant supply of hot water and was cleaned every day (apart from Sunday)
The pool was lovely, clean, and warm and the staff were very friendly. All in all, a great place to stay if you don’t mind the basic things in life!!
When we arrived we were on the end of the top floor right next to a children’s fair and really feared the worse.Luckily you couldn't hear anything!
The main square with most of the bars is 5 mins and there are lots of places to eat on the way. B & B over the road from the apts serves very nice food and has lovely friendly staff. Zorba, on the way to the sq also serves great food.
The beach is 5 mins away. I highly recommend Hanioti for 27+ looking for a relaxing holiday away from the 'Brits abroad'.
Kosmar were by far the cheapest tour operator for our holiday.

On arrival the surly and rude receptionist told us to leave our bags by the road and checked us in, pointed to where the general direction of the room was and left us to it.
Room was filthy, hairs in beds, urine literally all over the bathroom, bare wires broken toilet, totally vile. No double beds in hotel, only twin pine beds that anyone over 5ft10 will not be able to lay in without bending knees.
At that point we decided to leave, I asked for our passports and the money we had to pay for aircon back.
We left instantly and paid for another hotel down the road (Olympic Kosmas 10/10. Superb service and rooms).
By the way Hanioti is a lovely village and well worth visiting, we have been going for 10 Years. however...
If you are even thinking about booking Dionyssos hotel, don’t.
If you have already, I seriously suggest you get your travel agent to change it.

Nice place clean. Quite quiet for peak season pool good plenty of room staff friendly.
Rooms cleaned every other day hotel food good for snacks nice cocktails just out side complex cheap supermarket lots of shops restaurants just across road we found the best opposite the amethyst great tasty food well good portions staff brill presentation of food very good town close about 10 mins to centre beach clean sand /shingle certain parts sea urchins so watch out. Lots of stray dogs but they are no trouble plenty of cocktail bars and food eateries prices are about same as U.K. but you get a bigger amount of booze in your glass.
Weather hot in July /august 90s but the best thing is the sea was as hot as a luke warm bath we would stay in it all afternoon and not even get cold kids found it good did not want to go home. We will not go back only because Greece has so many lovely places and we like trying something different every time.

Nice clean hotel, basic room, but very clean. The staff were very friendly especially the guy on reception who spoke to us in Greek and English. good buffet choice for breakfast, only problem if you can call it that was that there was never a different item on the buffet same things everyday, so by the end of the fortnight i would have liked a change. The garden area and pool areas were very clean and well maintained.
The pool bar did a good selection of bar snacks during the day, although when we were there not very busy in the evening.
The hotel is centrally located with a few goods restaurants and bars very close by, all with friendly staff. Just a short walk to the main square again all with good bars and plenty of choice for the restaurants. A bar just over the road from the hotel was the horseshoe with a welsh barman, the drinks were very cheap only a small place but a big welcome.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the holiday and would certainly go back again, although this time we would hire a car and see more of the area.
Nice beach.

My partner and i stayed here for 2 weeks in August/July. Overall i found the rooms to be very clean. Staff were very friendly (especially the man at reception!) The Greek night they arranged was so much fun and the food they put out was gorgeous! It is a 5 minute walk to the beach which is lovely too, although it was very busy so i reccomend getting there early if you want a good spot to sunbathe. There are plenty of resteraunts to choose from in the town centre, our favourite was the italian on the corner! The night life here was good and all of the shops stayed open until early hours in the morning. I did find the cocktails here to be quite expensive, but worth it! Our favourite bar in the town centre was 'Billys'. It is an english owned bar and is run by a lovely couple. Quizes and entertainment was on regulary here too which was fun. During our stay we walked to the next town, Pefkhori (about 45 mins walk away) which was beautiful. There beach was lovely, probably nicer than ours, but we found our night life to be much better. Pefkhori has lots of nice steak houses too. Hanioti was our first holiday together and we loved it, we just wish now that we had gone on more excursions. Overall i rate it 9/10
