I do not recommend this hotel to families with children. There is a very noisy programm every night (until 12p.m. and even later) for the italian teenagers and you can not sleep even by closed windows. We wanted to rest on our holidays and we had a lot of stress instead (complains, change of the room to other building etc.)
If you like to go every night into the town and have fun, it is ok. The beach is very nice and clean. You can go by bus to Rhodos city (for 2euro) or to Lindos (3,50euro). The bus stop is about 200m from the hotel. There are lot of restaurants and shops in Faliraki.

Booked holiday 6 boys to Malia aged 19-20.
Had great laugh out there really enjoyed ourselves Faliraki was crazy.
Highly reccomend King Arthurs and Bedrock ask for sammy he was real genuine guy who gave us free tickets to slingshot opera etc. bar had really good laugh, Stayed there insomnia party with the reps from king arthurs til like 11 am. Recomend water park was really good. Became friendly with big group manchester girls, All holiday makers were really friendly. However group london lads were really arrogant and obnoxious, in our 2nd week they played hell there but the management didn't seem to care. BBQ night was really good nice food and karaoke and quiz night, all holiday makers were there was really good. Only problem we had was with Manos and the cleaners, Manos just seemed to want to take money off us. Do not get on wrong side of him ! Asked him the 1st day for safety deposit box and said couldn't have one. Asked the rep and basically he just didn't want to give us one. My mates stayed in room next door had 2 chairs when we went down to complain he told us we had to pay for the chair. We had broken table told us we had to pay for that to. Rep told us they had group people in room before us and trashed it because they got kicked out. Just thought wanted our money. Food wise highly recomend chaplins on the beach really nice breakfast where you can chill out with good music. Stay away from liquid nightclub, its to secluded and little kids come running up asking you to buy stuff but they are pickpockets. Also highly recomended Kellys irish bar loved it there Xmas tuesday, Liam the compere up for a good craic and laugh fair play to the lad. All in all cracking resort for 18-30 if you want a good time apartments but staff were the only down point on the holiday

Just returned from a week’s holiday at the Olympia apartments Faliraki and what can I say overall I had an excellent time.
Whilst I was there the hotel catered for couples, families, groups and people of all ages which I thought was really good.
The apartments were spacious and clean and the cleaners came in every day to change the bins so no need to worry about putting toilet paper in there.
The staff there, which is a family run business, are very friendly and are very approachable if needed.
The safety deposits boxes are cheap to use at 5euros for the week which I would recommend.
The pool is lovely and big and nice for a cool down after you've been sunbathing and the bar is open 24 hours and serves snacks from 9am to 9pm every day.
I would also recommend the BBQ and quiz night which they run every sat night with great prizes.
The only down fall is the location it is about 10 mins walk over a dirt track into the town for the night life and the local shops do not get English papers till late afternoon so I recommend using the internet service in the hotel.
Overall me and my partner had an excellent time and would stay there again!

The hotel is about 15mins walk into the resort, and we stayed in an apartment with 4 beds even though there was only two of us, the room was great, and was cleaned every day, if somewhat earlier than I’m used to when I’m on holiday, but no complaints as the maids went quietly about their business and left clean towels every day.
No complaints at all about the staff, they bent over backwards to be helpful to us, plenty of sun loungers and the pool was clean.
Only complaint from my hubby was that we had to pay for the air conditioning as he thought that this should have been already included within the price, but this worked out at only 7Euros a day which seeing as it was in 90degrees for all of our stay there, I thought was well worth the money!!! Ha-ha
Me and my hubby had a lovely time at this resort, it was our first visit to Greece never mind Faliraki, so were a bit unsure what to expect, as we had read the headlines a couple of years ago about Faliraki and the louts.
We were so proved wrong, we had a wonderful time, and the Greeks were an absolute delight and so welcoming! As me and the hubby are in our mid 30s we preferred the area around the bar "Bedrock" on Club Street, staff here are lovely, and you can join in on the karaoke etc. Bar Street I think is a bit more catered towards the younger end of the market and wasn’t really our cup of tea...
We will definitely be going back to this place, highly recommended to all!

The holiday started with the normal troubles you expect from using a typical package company. We got to Manchester airport and had a hell of a queue to deal with at 6.00am. Once through this though, it was fairly plain sailing.
We jumped on the plane, it landed in Rhodes, and instead of using the coach we got a Taxi to Olympia. It's only 18 Euros and the Coach stops everywhere before Faliraki. 20 minutes later, we were at the apartments waiting for Manos, the part owner with Savos, to allocate our room.
We went up to it, and it was a pool/front facing room with plenty of space for 3 people. The cooking utensils are basic, but let’s be honest, who needs them :)
The room was very clean and the cleaners regularly came to the studio to clean as mentioned, around 10.30/11am. Once I was still in bed nursing a late night "7am" and they made a lot of effort to keep quite whilst they changed towels, bins, and mopped the floor! (Thanks ladies much appreciated hence the bottle of wine I left you :))
As mentioned previously, the walk is not that long, about 15 minutes to the town centre and you can just walk for about 7 minutes straight to the beach.
And as for the main guys, well, you were superb.
Manos, Savos, Lekis, Dacma, you are all superb people. Thanks for the Greek lessons and thanks for making it one of the best resorts I've stayed in Faliraki in my 5 trips.
As promised, all being well, we'll be back beginning of October, and were looking at flight costs now!
THUMBS UP to this place. Book it NOW!

The Olympia Studios and Apartments was very clean the staff went out of their way to help.
The manager is not someone who will put up with any hooligans that want to upset other holiday makers.
The food is very good and only 4Euros for a full breakfast. Plenty of sun loungers and outside chairs and tables. All rooms have air con but at a price 7 Euros a night.
Cleaning is from about 11 o'clock onwards and if you are in the room or on the balcony the just work round you they are very pleasant and helpful.
The hotel as a free book exchange which is very good, many books to choose from. Reception is open 24/7 to help holiday makers.
The walk into Faliraki is very pleasant and is through the shops, bars and tavernas that makes it a nice stroll.
I can recommend the Olympia to anyone for a really good first class accommodation.
We have been to Rhodes 5 times and this is by far the best we have enjoyed.

One of the best holidays we have been on.
The rooms were large and clean with plenty of storage space. Towels were changed daily and sheets every other day.
The pool was clean and there were plenty of sun beds. The management and staff were friendly and very helpful, not as some people have made out in reviews on this page.
Not too far from town centre (5 minutes at most) but not close enough to be kept awake by music from bars etc.
Would recommend the London Underground for a cheap good night out, was a bit worried about the bad press that Faliraki had received when it came to personal safety, but found these rumours to be untrue.
People were friendly and went out of their way to help. Plenty of bars restaurants and shops which were fairly cheap.
Only problems may be the maids, they were unfriendly and a pair of dollie shoes went missing from my room, during our stay. Could have been more entertainment but all in all was a good holiday and would definitely go back.

October 2006, 6 lads travel to Faliraki looking for a good week.
We give it a 1/10 simply because 0/10 wasn’t available!
The rooms were safe to say nowhere near 4 star, not even 3 star quality that we were expecting.
The hotel management wasn’t lenient enough or even respected the fact we were on holiday looking for fun! A complete shambles of a holiday resort in my opinion!
I wouldn’t recommend this holiday resort to anyone aged between 16-25 looking for a booze filled holiday!
The cleaners lacked any real manners, despite apparently being respectful. 9 am in the morning they stormed into the apartment demanding that we got up and helped clean with them, despite the room not being in a mess!
Absolutely atrocious!

Me, Hubby and another couple went to Faliraki mid October. This was my 2nd visit, went 2 years ago and stayed at Lyristis apartments.
The Olympic apartments were pretty new, we had a 2 bed apartment for each couple and it was a good size. They were clean but you struggled to get hot water for the showers on some occasions although it didn’t really matter as the weather was very hot.
The staff were generally helpful and the bar was nice.
Faliraki is pretty quiet in October, most of the nightclubs are closed for the season, but a few remain open as do most of the bars. There are a load of nice places to eat, our favourites for breakfast was the ‘London Underground’ bar, very nice full English.
For Dinner we ate at 'Manolis' restaurant. It’s just off Club Street, tucked down a smaller street, but the food is fantastic. It’s a family run Greek restaurant, and you will see that all the locals eat there.
The staff are excellent and prices are very reasonable, the quality of the food is excellent, all home cooked too. We ate here EVERY Night! It was so good!
We did venture into Rhodes town one day, to be honest its got some nice old buildings but mainly lots of little shops, some selling lots of tourist tat, but a couple of good clothes and jewellery shops.
Be careful if you go to eat or drink, they try and serve you the largest of everything, and the food wasn’t very good.
Overall had a really good holiday, would definitely go back again this time of year as it was very relaxing, not too rowdy, a great time for couples or families, not to expensive and the weather was still very good.

Got back yesterday from Faliraki, had a brill time! Was very impressed with the resort itself, not as crazy as people think!
The Olympia Studios were nice, very basic but nice. The pools were great, one baby, one main pool and one that goes into a waterfall. Plenty of sun beds and it never got to crowded (might be because it was September though)
We didn't really find the staff over friendly, the main manager was ok but it was hard to know how to take him really but in general the staff were nice. I asked for my bedding to be changed one day and this didn't seem a problem as it was done straight away (the bedding is usually changed every 3days) however the maids did bother me! I had a large white beach towel with blue stars in the corner which they took twice thinking it was one of the towels they provide you with, this annoyed me more the second time as you would think they would have remembered!
Also the day before we were due to leave the maids came in and 'tidied up' they moved everything, things like the holder we kept are toothbrushes in was put back in the cupboard leaving are toothbrushes thrown in the sink! Our tea coffee and sugar was soaking from them cleaning round the kitchen sink, it felt like we were no longer wanted there. oh yeah and we had some drinking glasses given to us from friends we made which owned there own restaurant and the maids took them as well, they must have thought they were from the bar downstairs!
The food at the bar was ok! Serving 9-9, not very big portions and I wouldn't recommend the breakfast as you can get one for better value in town. They do a bbq night once a week which we didn't actually go to but it always smelt lovely.
The Olympia studios was in a good location, just far enough out from the town and the beach, watch out for the dirt track that takes you into the town, especially wearing white!
We found a great little supermarket just as you come out of the dirt track it is on the other side of the road, there are 2 together the one I mean is the right one! the lady is actually Australian and she gave us free ice every time we went, and on the last day she gave us some little gifts to take back!
I would 100% recommend the water park, it is well worth the money. Watch out for the advertisements from the excursion shops because some will give you free transfers to and from the water park, especially the one next to the supermarket that I mentioned.
I had a great holiday and found all the Greeks very welcoming and friendly, I would recommend the Olympia studios but just advise everyone to watch out for the mosquitoes as we all got bites everywhere! Just take a plug in and some spray! Enjoy!

My boyfriend and 5 of his friends decided to book a holiday to Faliraki. At first we were nervous because of the bad rumours but we got a shock when we landed. We are just back yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Although I was the only girl I really enjoyed it. When we arrived early hours of Thursday morning we were greeted kindly by a member of staff. He went over the do's and don’ts of Olympia and made it clear. E.g.: keep noise down at night.
Olympia provided good service. There was a bar open to 3am. Food served all day 9am-9pm which was good, it wasn’t overall nice but was eatable. There is pool tables, game machines and internet access.
There are 2 streets in Faliraki. These are Bar Street and Club Street. Obviously there loaded with bars, clubs, restaurants and a few pressie shops. We ate in Pancho's Mexican 2 nights which I would highly recommend. We also had our breakfast in a restaurant called Ovion which was also very nice. The prices for food and drink was not bad here as I brought home quite a bit of money.
Overall Faliraki is a lovely place but dead during the day and packed at night. I don’t think I would go back as it wasn’t very built up but would recommend that you give it a go as its an experience.

me(19) and my boyfriend(22) stayed in the olympia sun apartments in september and had a brilliant time.. The staff were really nice and would go out of there way for you, we didnt check in until about 12:30am and we went to the pool bar and they made us some food still. The room was tidied everyday and the maid didnt disturb us once. The room was basic but very clean and nice. the pool area is brilliant and is very open which makes the athmosphere a lot better. we didnt eat in the hotel much but when we did the food was good. As for location is quite good because its out of the way of all the noise and is only a short walk from all the bars and the beach. The walk is a lot easier if u cut across the dirt track, its not as bad as it sounds its mainly pebbles and is about 10 meteres long and brings u out by zobras dance then u just turn right and everything is there. Try the mexican resterant and something different, its the best food we had over there and for bars deffinatly underground and king aurthur's are the best. Also the water park is fantastic was only 20 euros, u can walk but is quite a journey and a taxi is 5euros but we jumped on the bus from by sofias travel and was only a euro each and the bus driver will stop when u get there, any bus goes there. overall i loved my holiday and planning to go back next year =D
