Odyssey Apartments

I stayed here and like others I went over thinkin bad things but the minute we got there we got greeted, settled in, etc!!
The room we were in was great, it was clean, nice and big enough 4 wot we wanted!!
The staff were friendly and happy.
The rep Korhan was great and he was happy and made our holiday amazing!!! Ive been bk 2 wks now and wanting to fly bk out there!!!
The security guard was fine, he was nice!
Overall i was very pleased with these apartments/hotel, best holiday ive ever had!!! Ill defo be flyin bk out there another year!!!

Just got back from Malia and it was absolutely amazing!!! Odyssey is an amazing place to stay at, it's really close to everything, the staff are really fun, especially Ylias the bar man (don't know if that's spelled right!!)...plus you get the best rep ever!! don't know what's going on with the bad reviews I have nothing bad to say at all!!!

would not stay here again if you paid me!! (and we paid over £300 for allocation on arrival!!)
arrived at the airport to find we would be staying in Malia which we thought was fantastic!!
got dropped off in the middle of the night and wanted to cry! the room we were given had a broken lock on the front door, the toilet smelt like someone had left us a "present" and you couldn't roll over in the beds without falling out!!! our room was the furtherest room away from reception. our "terrace" was right beside the laundry room, underneath another apartment meaning we never ever got the sun and was beside the stairs upto the pool - but the stairs were blocked off!!
We asked the rep about moving as we hadn't realised we might have been given an Escapades holiday (not my ideal type of holiday - done an 18-30 in Ibiza and hated it!!). don't get me wrong, i like to party all night like the best of them but to be forced into paying for all the trips was ridiculous!! obviously we didn't pay for any trips. the rep enventually said we could move apartments but it would cost us 130 euros each!!
the only good points were it was 5 minutes from the strip and the beach. but be warned - don't come back from the strip past the graveyard - dark country road that has mopeds flying down it at all times of day and night.
the only saving grace is we went to visit our greek friend who was staying in sitia (right at the end of crete) for a few days and had an absolute ball!!

I stayed here this year from 10th till the 24th of June and i must admit i was dreading it had i had read bad reviews on this place. It was awesome, the apartments are nice but the rooms are very basic and if you break something in the room you after re morgage your house it is very expensive 40 euros for dirty bed sheets hmmm All the staff are very friendly from Mamma Odessey to Leos the bar man. Watch out for Leos all he does all day is football tricks then trys to hit people on there head with the ball he also has a big straw with some string tied to it so when your sun baving he sneaks up behind you and tickles you with it. Ohh and the security guard Dimitri.... what can i say about this guy he is a legend, a very nice man, men and him became good friends even though he cant speak english and i cant speak greek haha every1 seems to hate this guy but he is really nice unless you **** him off, he doesnt let you bring any1 back but nobody does in Malia, but however he did let me bring somebody back he was like jamie 1 hour hurry hurry There is also your rep Kohran the cave man, he is a great guy is always happy to help you out and nobody will be able to drink him under the table, he downs a pint in 3 seconds overall very pleased with the place and with the staff

Malia has got to be the best place ive been on holliday bar none! loads of great pubs and clubs, cheap food loads of different take aways.
the hotel rooms were basic butclean although they only cleaned our room once in the week.
dimitri wasnt that bad at all, sometimes a bit grumpy but the lad worked all day and most the night! i thought i had no sleep but this guy had none!
still go back to the same hotel, staff were great pool area was too.
what more do you want!!!

I stayed here for a week in july 2006 and I had the best time of my life!!! The rooms were basic and the shower was crap but who cares all you need the room for is a place to get ready before going out! I would recommend these apartments and Malia to anyone in their teens or 20's it was wicked and I would love to go again!!!

Just got back this morning from Odyssey appartments. we went out there with really mixed feelings of what these apartments was going to be, but i can safely say there is nothing wrong with them. Yes they are basic but has everything you need (except if you was thinking of cooking)
the staff are really nice and cant do enough for you.
food isnt great there but its nice enough. we went to a place called "Sticky Fingers" on the strip, fantastic food and not bad prices, they dont hassle you to go in there aswell.
The security gaurd isnt as bad as been reported, although if you arrive there in the middle of the night he does at first seem a bit grumpy. girls beware of him though he will try it on with you given half a chance! it is however true about not letting anyone back to your room. we saw it 3 times people getting turned away and shouted at by him.
would go back to odessey again in future.

Me and My mate Stayed here Begining part of May 08, We had the best week there, The staff are friendly, the food is freshly made to order. The rooms were Basic but at the end of the day you only sleep in there and get changed.
We had a problem with our shower, we informed the Staff and in a matter of an hour it was Fixed.
We made some really good mates whilst we were away, Because the hotel is ideal size you do get to know everyone, and have a laugh,
I would recomend this hotel to anyone, and i'm a travel agent so i know what i'm talking about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do not stay at these appartments unless you like being bitten and like ant nests this is the most discusting appartments iv ever seen in my life the security guard has not got a clue 5 of the rooms got broke into and got turned upside down and we had all our money stolen there was no showers by the pool and our rep (dorrian) doesnt know his arse from his elbow go too malia but dont stay there please guys save your money do not go here

MALIA 2007! Oh my word, such a smashing holiday! It was utterly fab!
Me and 4 mates went for a week... the hotel is spot on, rooms are basic but thats all you need!
the staff were sooooo nice, Pavel the little Iranian guy behind the front desk is top banter... we had countless drink with him and Dimitri (the security guard).

Dimitri has recieved a bit of stick on this page but he's not as bad as he sounds! Whenever we seen him we said hello and rubbed his hairy belly, he loved us.
We were allowed people back to our rooms all the time, my friend leon brought a few lads back ;) and Dimitri was fine with it!
Imran the guy behind the pool bar was a legend, he would do twirls on the bar when we asked for a strawberry milkshake, and show us his sweaty spuds when we asked for a chocy milkshake! top banter!
malia is soooooo good, i feel terible after coming home, total bum squeaking!
Malia nightlife is outstanding, its a must! nightlife 11/10, hotel 10/10... what more can u ask for?
