Aegean Sky Apartments

Don't need to say too much - the Aegean Sky is unbeatable, because it's the only hotel where you get the funniest man on the planet making your holiday unforgettable. Panos - some say he has had more "sexy time" than Rooney and several hundred grandma's, and that Borat travels here secretly every week for new material, all we know is - this half man/ half raging bull is one of a kind!!
He is joined by other greats such as Pepe and Zak, who all add to the awesome service you will get at this hotel. Aside from the staff the hotel itself is also excellent, perfect location for going out while not being in the middle of the strip. Rooms clean, got everything you need, great pool area etc, no complaints whatsoever, do not miss out on the "Panos Experience".

There's no doubt this is the best holiday our group of 10 lads ever had. The Hotel was great and all staff were great. Nothing was too much trouble throughout the week. Panos, the owner, doubled up as a brilliant host aswell as all day comedian.
The bar food was good, there was a big screen at the bar with sky TV. For those wanting to visit the Malia strip, this hotel was situated about a 5 minute walk away.
We couldn't have asked for anything more.

I cannot speak highly enough of this hotel and it's owner, Panos. Staying at this hotel feels like you are staying with family, you are made to feel so welcome and special. The Location is fantastic only a 5 minute walk to the strip so you are close enough to all the nightlife but far enough from the noise to enjoy a good nights sleep in the spacious and immaculate cleaned rooms. The pool is large and clean with plenty of sunbeds to soak up the friendly and fun atmosphere that Panos and staff create. The food is cooked to perfection and there is plenty to choose from. The Greek BBQ night is a must and if you are fortunate enough to be staying there then you must attend. The nightlife is predominantly r&b but i would recommend a trip to Pop world for some old school cheesy original. Any queries or questions you have Panos has the answers to them all. I would not hesitate to come back to this hotel and am already planning my return for 2010.

Everybody was so soooo friendly, and welcoming.
The security is great too-i never felt unsafe at all there.
The pool is a nice size& there are always spare sunbeds.
Rooms are big, with great facilities, the option of a safe and air con too.
It was a little more expensive than other hotels, but definitely worth it!
The manager is actually one of the funniest and welcoming people i've met, always willing to help with any problem at all.
Great atmosphere, great food, great time!

This hotel is the best I have seen in Malia, the rooms are clean, comfy and a nice size.
The pool is clean and the bar next to it serves food and drinks at reasonable prices.
All the staff are kind and friendly and Panos is the best manager a hotel could ask for, he makes everyone feel welcome, included and comfortable... And he seems to know everything!
The hotel has a great location a short walk from the strip and has a security guard at night ensuring everyone is safe.
I would definately recommend coming to this hotel :)

hotel beautiful....staff fabulous, always accommodating and looking for ways to make your stay as comfortable as possible. From what we heard from others on holiday in malia we definately got the best hotel. greek night is fun and very enjoyable. Panos and his family are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sweet.....we love you and i dont say that easily about people i dont know....if you want a comfortable stay...book here!!!!!!!!

After a bad start in Malia we were moved to this fantastic hotel in the centre of Malia. It is a family run hotel where on arrival you recieve a warm welcome from Mike and Panos. Though a 3A hotel the staff make you feel more at home rather than at a hotel especially when attending one of their Greek nights where the whole family attend serving you food and home cooked food before introducing you to greek dancing, fireworks and later teaching you greek dance and fire dance. A truly spectacular night not to be missed!
The rooms though basic also offer everything you need and are exceptionally clean and roomy and more than you expect for a 3A self catering holiday. For an Escapades apartment that had been used for a whole summer it was still in emmaculate condition.
The pool bar was always fully stocked unlike the rest of Malia at the end of season and the snacks offerred free to go with X Factor always went down well! Not to mention the fishbowls of cocktails!!!!
All in all an exceptional hotel that we agreed we would visit Malia again simply to visit - a family run hotel which always makes a difference!!!

We have just spent two weeks at the Aegean Sky Hotel in Malia in Aug/Sept 2008 and the hotel is magnificent and we have never experienced such incredible service before.
It was so lovely that it was hard to drag ourselves away from the hotel when we had to depart for our flight.
We didn't bother with any of the water parks or trips out as we just did not want to leave the pool side as Panos & his wife and mike and all the staff panos so funny and all the staff there are so helpful and you could not wish for better service at all.
Having been to Malia before but staying in a different hotel i wold defintely come back again and only stay at the Aegean Sky.
It was so hot and busy there, the pool is fantastic and the food is amazing.
Our rooms were perfect there was not one thing wrong with them and the facilities there were fantastic the staff were so helpful we never wanted to leave there.
Overall I would say this is probably the best hotel we have ever stayed in on holiday and I am extremely happy overall with my holiday and are now preparing to go back the same time next year and meet up with all the great people we met out there!
The greek nite is definitely a must we had such a fantastic time and we got involved with all the dancing and games it was amazing!!!!!
