" An excellent holiday!
Weather,... "
Weather, location (sea views!), eating venues (Oscars, Arizona- fab curry, etc), fabulous cocktails at Wig Wam and Charliez
Very cosmopoliton, although feel that air conditioning/ceiling fans would make it that extra special.
Would definatley recommend this venue to all.
Thanks to the fantastic room service.
Thanks to the "El Greco"

Submitted By: Miss L FothergillOnly thing i would say is avoid the local restaraunts on a regular basis if you eat out alot at night, that are close to El Greco, ~fabulous food but very expensive. We only found out that the town centre was literally a 10 minute walk away at begining of our 2nd week and what a difference in food prices (70+ Euros near El Greco and 26Euros in town for 2 adults, a child and a bottle of wine! ~ and v v nice food ~ would recommend CAFE CENTRAL, english owned and they do the most amazing Lasagne)
El Greco is 11/10 for cleanliness, they really do scrub your room and do all your washing up! ! Fresh towels and sheets everyday. The pool is beautiful and has a shallow part about 6 inch deep all the way round for the little ones.
Overall the best accomodation I have stayed at, and having stayed at 5* resorts around the world i would highly recommend the El Greco.

Submitted By: Mr C LinfittMy daughters been going to the Vistamar apts now for 2 years (which is next door to the el Greco) and she thinks the same . However there's not a lot of things for young children to do apart from in the main shopping centre e.g. trampolines, golf, go carts, tennis.

Submitted By: Miss S EdwickHowever this wasn’t a problem the 2nd and 3rd time but it was for others who were checking in. The restaurant onsite is more pricey then the places along the beach front, however it is worth it, the food is great and crepes are cooked in front of you which is brill to watch.
The staff are fantastic. Prices vary so look for the best deal, get to the pool early to get the best spot and enjoy the lazy atmosphere.

Submitted By: Mrs Kat TaylorThey are very spacious and we got two double bedrooms with a good sized bathroom and a balcony overlooking the sea.
There are two pools, the big one is heated with a pool bar, but if you’re looking for a bit a peace and quiet try and find the other pool, which is in the middle of the suites in the gardens.
The restaurants around it are a bit more expensive than the ones in the centre although you do get a discount.
It takes less than 30 seconds to get to the beach!
Overall we cannot fault this accommodation, it is one of the best holidays we have been on!
Would recommend it to anyone!

Submitted By: monsieChoose the bungalows and you will have your own private courtyard and swimming pool that you share with only 9 other families and the kids make friends very quickly.
Separate entrance out onto the quiet road and straight across to the beach. What more can you ask for. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay but the bungalows do need air con.

Submitted By: Mr P BishopThe hotel is right opposite the main beach but Amadores beach is only a 15 min walk and is the best beach on the island. It was busy even at this time of year but no lager louts or yobs just a mix of Swedish, Danish, Dutch and German with a few English visitors.
The rooms were nice although we did share them with the odd cockroach and noisy crickets.
Everyone here was laidback and quiet but if you took time to talk to them they are all very friendly and helpful. I have stayed in this resort before and would say that this is the best hotel to stay in if you don’t want to be walking up and down hundreds of steps every day.
For meals we ventured up to the main commercial centre (about 10 mins walk) and the pick of those restaurants has to be the El Torro, friendly waiters who are polite and even like to have a laugh and a joke with you, also the Chinese restaurants were all good.
The only thing that annoyed me were the pushy PR ticket touts who didn’t like to take no for an answer, we even avoided certain areas of the resort to get away from them.
Overall I give this holiday 8 out of 10, I may return one day.

Submitted By: Miss H ShineIts right by the beach and every room over looks the pool and/or beach. We had a two bedroom apartment and it was very spacious and very clean. The cleaners came everyday with fresh towels, etc. I would advise hiring a fan for 20 euros for the week, as there is no air con in the apartments.
The area was nice and relaxed, with some lovely restaurants and cocktail bars over looking the harbour. If you like it a bit livelier then its only about a 10 min walk, or 2.50 Euro taxi ride to lots of bars, restaurants and a big shopping centre. But the pr's did get quite annoying up there!
Overall I had a really good time, and came back with an amazing tan! I would definitely recommend these apartments to all ages/families/couples. I would go there again in the future!

Location of El Greco - perfect. Virtually on the beach, close to a range of good restaurants and harbour/boat trips e.g. dolphin watching, fishing and pleasure cruises. A short pleasant walk along the coast to Amadores beach, another quiet relaxing location.
Would recommend El Greco Apartments to all, and finances permitting, would love to return for a follow-up holiday next year!
Advice: Wonderful, relaxing location with plenty to do, catering for all.
Activities: We particularly enjoyed the El Greco Cantina and the nearby Greek Restaurant, the Rhodes Palace.
Good for: Beach
