This is the third time in Stalis and the second time in the villa Alexandra for my family.
It is now under new management, which made the holiday a more enjoyable experience, so much so we’ve booked again for 2006 and friends who have not been to Greece before are now looking forward to their first experience of Crete. Would have given 10 out 10 if not for the busy main road that you must cross to get to the beach and bars.

If you are just going for a Business meeting or for a holiday with the kids I would fully recommend Villa Alexandra to anybody. the whole place is out of this world the rooms are fantastic the pool is fantastic the bar staff, well I have to keep my comment short so I wont go into that, but they are absolutely amazing. There is Pavlos and there is Tasos and they really uplift your day. Trust me Believe me I came back from there myself on sat 3rd sept 05 and I didn’t want to leave I had to drag myself away from everything. If it hadn’t have been for my family and friends I wouldn’t have gone! honest I wouldn’t have. So if you’re looking for a hotel with a rating of 110% then Villa Alexandra is for you! trust me and you wont regret it!

This was a very enjoyable holiday. The accommodation was basic but clean, with a very reliable, friendly maid.
The bar and reception staff were brilliant, they couldn’t do enough to help the holiday makers. The apartments were close to all the amenities, although you do have to cross a busy road. Overall this was one of the best holidays I have been on.

I absolutely loved this holiday it was the best 2 weeks of my life I have only been home for 2 days and I am missing it already.
It is such a great place to go I went there in a big family and it was great during the day time you can relax by the pool or go to the beach which is like 2 minutes walk, and at night time it is amazing. All the bar and clubs are great it gets really active. The hotel is really nice and all the staff are really cool there are very kind. The rooms are also nice...
Well i would recommend it to any one whoever you are looking for a relaxing holiday or an active one. As i have said it was the best 2 weeks of my life.

I absolutely LOVED my holiday to Villa Alexandra! I just came back early this morning and I didn’t want to leave at all it was without a doubt the best holiday ever!
The atmosphere was brilliant and i loved it at night time at the hotel because of the staff who were friendly and I miss them loads!
Stalis is a lovely little place. The restaurants serve gorgeous food, but sometimes the people standing outside the restaurants to persuade you to come in can have the opposite effect.
At night there were excellent bars and clubs to go to and there was one in particular i recommend, The Dolphin Club. The people who work there try their best to provide a great service and they do.
Villa Alexandra is definitely the greatest hotel for anyone and everyone!
I would certainly go back there in a heartbeat, especially to see one special person who I love and miss so much!

These apartments were really nice, they were very clean and spacious, the maid cleaned them everyday, and changed the towels and bedding every other day.
The staff were really friendly and helpful. the pool area was really nice and clean, the pool was quite deep so small children would need to be watched carefully. the apartments were very close to all amenities, but you have to cross a road, which was very busy.
We would definitely go back to these apartments, the apartments even had a kettle and a shower curtain, which is very rare in Crete.
