We have been to butlins for a number of years now. But after the last one in August 2010 we were glad to get back. The GOLD accomodation was poor, fixtures and fittings were dated and in poor condition. They have removed the fridge freezers in the self catering... more

I was quite apprehensive about visiting Butlins after some of the reviews which I have read, but I have to say that we had a really enjoyable holiday. We first drove onto the site at midday, and did expect to be directed to a car park near to where we would check in later.... more

This was our 2nd holiday to Skengness, silver accomodation. first time self catering, this time half board. On a positive note, both times the rooms were clean and tidy and very serviceable. With respect to the dining court.....stay away!. Food worse than school dinners.... more
