Philippos Studio & Apartments

We really enjoyed our stay at Phillipos. The accomodation is clean throughout and the staff there very polite. I would highly recommend taking a holiday in Kassiopi, and we rate Phillipos appartments as one of the best places we have stayed in so far.

just got home from kassiopi,we stayed at phillipos and it was basic but very clean. the shower was fitted wrongly so the water pointed ever where but at you, but we soon got used to it.the walk ways and pool area ws imaculate. my only gripe is the dog in the next building was barking for hours on end.over all it is a good plaace to stay and i would stay there again.

Excellent accommodation. Room was very spacious, clean with towels changed every other day. Sheets changed twice a week. Bathroom very clean with hot shower every day. Pool immaculate and a decent size. The bar and snacks were a great help as was the huge TV showing Sky.. No complaints at all, thoroughly recommend. Would definitely go back.. Staff at the complex were very helpful, although our rep wasn't the best!!

As a young married couple, me and my husband really enjoyed our stay at Philippos apartments. Our room was basic yet clean and comfortable. The shower head was a bit akward to use and the shower had a little lime scale on it but other then that everything was satisfactory. Our bed sheets and towels were changed twice a week and the cleaners were very friendly. There is air conditioning but you have to pay for that which is about 5 euro per day I think. There is a snack bar at the pool which was nice for light lunch and drinks. There are lots of very nice restraunts near by too (check out Janis - food is amazing with a beautiful view of beach, espically at sunset. Price is reasonable too). Apartment is very close to all bars, restaraunts and harbour.
If you fancy any days out I strongly recommend the day trip to Albania. So different to Corfu in the sense that there is hardly any tourists and its a nice change to see a real country for what it is. Make sure you take comfortable shoes though for the tour and lots of water as its hotter then corfu!
Aqua Land in Sidari is also a fun day out.
I am very sad to be back home and wat to go back again next year.

my girlfriend then ( now my wife) and i went here in oct 06, from the moment we got to the accomodation we knew we were going to love it, the room we had was typicaly greek, basic but functional, clean and in good condition, the staff at the apartments were friendly and very helpful, the pool was clean, the bar and bar ataff were great, a fantastic place to sit, relax and engage in interesting conversation.
Kassiopi is a fantastic resort centered around a small fishing harbour with a good selection of restaurants, bars and tavernas, the whole package was value for money and well worth an holiday there

I visited kassipoi with my boyfriend for my first time and his second. we went for two weeks and it was my best holiday ive been on.
The accodmidation was lovely but basic (exactly what you expect from greece). the rooms werent best decorated but you dont go on holiday to stay in your room all day. the shower couldnt be put on the wall as the grip had fallen off but apart from that the accomidation was excellent.
Spent a lot of time at the pool and the pool bar as the staff (steff, spiro, lefti and the cook) were great fun, very friendly and informative about the island. The weather was beautiful and hot and we only had around 3 days of cloud or rain.
we went out most nights into the main part of kassiopi which was just a small walk away from the resort, most of the bars were lovley for food and drink, especially the italians and kostas bar.
overall i would defficatly go again and would deffinatly recommend it to eevryone and rate it 10/10.

Just got back from a lovely holiday at Kassiopi. Would recommend the Phillippos apartments to people who just want a clean place to stay. The room is minimal, shower did get hot after running it for five minutes, you had to jimmy the oven for it to work. But it was brilliantly cleaned by staff four times a week, sheets changed once a week and fresh towels when needed. Staff were always friendly, pool was beautiful though salty. It was very peaceful place despite been a few minutes from everything. More for couples and young families.
Kassiopi itself is beautiful with lots of shops, bars and restaurants, its a small village so I'd recommend going on excursions to other places around Corfu. We got over charged by our tour operator when we got there on these trips so I'd look around the village where there are several booking centres that have lower prices. Trips range from 15-100's of euros per person.
As for where to eat I recommend Dons for good British food and La Luna for Italian and those who want a bit more of an atmosphere.
I wouldn't advise going to Corfu if you have a phobia of cats or dogs as all over Corfu they are left by owners to roam. Although all that we met where friendly.
Overall a great relaxing holiday and would go again.

Absolutely disgraceful. Basin coming off the wall and was a week of struggling with the rep to get this fixed. Leaks occurring from the basin pedestal all over the bathroom floor. Had to get extra towels to soak up the water for a week before fixed. Rep referred us to the 'team leader' Manos woman who couldn't have cared a less and inspected our room and said "nothing wrong with it!
My husband said 'if you say there is nothing wrong with it, I would hate to see where you live!' She was arrogant, unhelpful and fobbed us off. Couldn't have given a damn. There was rust stains running down the studio walls and when I pointed out the limescale stains all over the counters, she said 'it's only limescale'.
We have been to 15 Greek islands and love staying in basic accomodation but not primitive accommodations. There IS a difference. The place was so noisy and we felt like it was more like a ghetto than an apartment building. All facing one another and overlooked with no privacy. We
stayed in room 206. Can't believe the Manos team leader woman said there was nothing wrong with it. Think it's disgusting to put people in a place where she claimed was not inspected. We questioned whether Manos inspects their apartments at the beginning of the season and she said no! Why not, are we expected to accept these conditions?
NO... we will definitely not be going back to this slum of a place and we should not be subject to have to put up with it either. Why should they do this to people.

We have just arrived back from two weeks in Kassiopi. We as a family of four, really enjoyed our stay at the Phillipos.
Everyone was very friendly, lovely lady behind the poolside bar which serves great food and drink.
The room was very clean basic but that’s what you expect in Greece. Couldn't fault the cleaners for the supply of towels.
The town was great, not too big, not too small. Some great restaurants; Yanis and Petrinos was our favourite.
Would definitely come back again.

Me, my husband and daughter 13 yrs and niece 14 yrs have just returned from a really really lovely two wks at the Philippos. Having read the reviews prior to our departure we were more than apprehensive.
The coach trip to the resort was a little scary with lots of twisty turny roads but arrived in one piece.
On arrival at our apartments we had a very short walk from the coach to check in. The apartments were basic (as is all accommodation in Greece) but very clean and spacious.
Everything was in working order and lots of fresh towels.
The pool was beautifully clean and very safe for children. The poolside bar served an excellent variety of English and Greek food at very reasonable prices and the staff were very friendly.
Kassiopi as a resort was brill our children had more freedom than in England as all the restaurants and bars were within very close proximity.
We tried Janis restaurant as many reviews recommended it. We did enjoy it. The views were lovely, but we paid double the amount although we enjoyed many other restaurants i.e. the 3 brothers for half the price.
We had a day out at the Hydropolis water park which was really good and really good value 15 Euros each and only ten minutes on a coach and also went on the east coast cruise again only 15 Euros each for the whole day.
Only thing we would recommend is hire a fan. We got one from small shop next to dons 14 Euros for the week well worth it.
Overall we had a really really lovely time so don’t take any notice of bad reports on web.
