Just getting back from holiday at Spiros no1, had a wonderful time the whole two weeks.
If you holiday here you won’t be disappointed at all. Spiros looks after everyone and Vicki makes sure everyone’s is fed well, Philip and Thomas makes sure everyone is well oiled with liquor!
I would recommend that you stay in the bungalows, they are spacious and kept very clean. Me and my family haven’t stayed in apartments before, always been hotels and I have to stay I now prefer apartments and especially Spiros in Roda.
On the whole as a family we found Roda to be a good base to stay. Its small and friendly wherever you go and if not eating at Spiros, I would recommend Maggie’s and the Odysseus on the front road the beach is great plenty watersports and would recommend Aqualand too.
Although book with agents next to nsk rentals. you must visit Kassiopi its lovely.
Have to say well done to Spiros wife Vikki and sons Philip and Thomas, they do a grand job and ensure all has a good holiday, a special mention to the cleaning lady she is fab.

On arrival we was told our room number and pointed in the direction, on opening the door we was horrified at what we saw and smelt.
The cupboard containing very little smelt of rotten mouldy chipboard, which each item had to be washed to remove the smell, we had a two ring electric hot plate, only the smallest worked, a sandwich toaster that had not been washed from the last occupiers, and a kettle, all had to be balanced very carefully to reach the plug.
Bedrooms, well I have never seen anything like it, the bed cover was filthy and smelt where it had not been washed for some time, as for the pillows, they was brown with stains, the mattress never had covers on and was also stained very bad, for a double bed you was only provide with single sheets. None of the windows had fly screens and there was a charge for the loan of a fan.
The maid only came in once in the week to empty the bins, and sweep the floor.
The shower curtain was a waste of time, as it was not near the shower tray or reach the floor; therefore the water ran into the kitchen out of the door and across the balcony where people had to walk, as the drains were all blocked.
This was all reported to our rep, the only thing she managed to get was new pillows and some powder in the drains.
As for the grounds the flower beds would look very nice if the weeds had not taken over.
Now as for the staff, if you was spending they was fine otherwise they ignored you, also the bar prices change as the week went on.
In all, I would never even consider recommending this complex to my enemy.

Not too sure if the 2 previous reviewers are talking about the same property as Spiros No 1 is in Roda and not Sidari. The picture shown definitely shows the Roda Spiros.
All in all, very poor. The apartment was self catering but there were only about 8 plates and some cutlery, a frying pan and 1 massive casserole pot. No bowls were provided. The internal staircase was open structure steel (fire escape type) staircase which was slippery and generally dangerous, especially for youngsters. There was also a window at low level on the staircase which made it easy for youngsters to fall out of.
The brochure said there was a shower over a bath which there wasn’t; there was only a shower which made life difficult to wash our 17mth old infant. We ended up washing her in the kitchen sink. There was bird mess on the walls which hadn't been cleaned up and the duvet covers were pretty grubby. The floor coverings were very slippery when wet. Some of the lights wouldn’t work or would come on about half hour after they were turned on. There were scorch marks going up the walls out of some sockets which was not particularly inspiring either.
Externally, the pool was ok but again fairly slippery around the edges. There were a variety of paving materials most of which were extremely slippery when they were wet. Due to the numerous ground level changes there were a lot of slopes. The owner had indoor mats placed on these to act as anti-slip but they were filthy and rotting away. There were numerous drops (3ft plus) without safety barriers. Where some barriers were provided they were rotten. There was broken floor lights with the glass left in them. The children’s play area had a slide and a swing but there was dog mess and what looked like lime powder on the grass.
On the positive side, the food was very good and the staff (Spiros and his wife and his two sons) were quite nice. However, I don’t think I will be going there again or recommending it or the resort town of Roda to anyone, especially those with families.

Arrived at Spiros Apartments with my 14 year old son, and was greeted by George and Leah. Was instantly shown to our apartment, which was very modern, spacey and clean.
We had a ground floor apartment which overlooked the pool.
The maid service was excellent, this was the only holiday that I've been on where the maid thoroughly cleaned the apartment every day, plus remade the beds. I used to sit by the pool and watch the maids, they would spend ages cleaning just one apartment. This was also the only holiday where the safety deposit boxes were free of charge.
The whole complex was always spotless, the food good, all the staff friendly. The apartments were not very central in Sidari, but it was still a pleasant walk to reach the main area, which had ample pubs, eateries, gift shops etc. (plus McDonalds!)
The beach is lovely, warm clean sand and crystal clear waters, plenty of water sports on offer along the sea front.
We went into Corfu Town on a few occasions, was easier to book the trip with a local travel company than wait for the local bus. Through the travel company you were guaranteed a safe, comfy journey on an air-conditioned coach for only 4 euros per person.
In all, Sidari and The Spiros Apartments are to be highly recommended. you will have a super holiday.
Thanks again to George and Leah and staff.

Fantastic apartments, and the staff just make you so welcome. Everything is so clean and well maintained. Food at the bar is well cooked and offers Greek and English choices.
Jan and Bob who help to turn the complex are just great and will do anything they can to assist you.
George the owner is nice, but beware single women (as I found out) he will be after you!!!
Have a great time everyone.

Just got back from 2 weeks at these apartments and cannot praise it enough. Arrived mid afternoon and was greeted by the owner George, and taken to our apartment.
The apartments were cleaned every day, with clean towels provided almost every other day, and bedding changed at least twice a week.
The pool was large with a Jacuzzi, and plenty of sun beds. You could go to the pool any time of day and find loads of sun beds available. Great, if like me, you like nothing more than to spend the day relaxing by the pool. The pool area was cleaned every evening and was always spotless.
The bar area served a good choice of food and was available until 10.30 at night. The bar stayed open as long as customers wanted.
All staff here were extremely friendly, and nothing was too much trouble.
Its about a 10/15 minute walk into Sidari where a large number of bars and restaurants can be found to suit everyone. It can be quite lively at the other end but quieter as you head back towards the apartments. It's a great location if you want to be within access to the nightlife but far enough away not to be disturbed and enjoy a quieter holiday.
Will definitely go back to these apartments and highly recommend them to anyone else.
