Great Location
from hajecj
Booked a junior suite here, which in reality is a normal sized room, but not really a suite, jr. or otherwise. I didnt see a regular room, but I assume they are small. On the plus side, the beds are very comfortable--have had some pretty awful hotel beds in paris, and this is not one of them--with big fluffy pillows. On the minus side, the bathroom was in rough shape. Clean, just not appropriate for 375euros a night (paint peeling in the shower, funny noises coming from the plumbing at odd hours). It seems pretty clear that they didnt...

Stay elsewhere
from Canuck35
This hotel is ranked right where it should be. We stayed there as we had some Sofitel dollars to use, but wished we had chosen another hotel. We found the level of service to be so inconsistent that we didn't know what to expect each time we went to the front desk. Twice we asked for a taxi and they were unable to get us one (both times we walked outside and got one ourselves). TGV reservations were a challenge so we called ourselves. They even suggested we go to a train station! We added an extra night due to an unrelated issue...

Wonderful Hotel!
from mikestirr
After hours of internet research I booked this hotel based on it's location and the reviews on here! I took my girlfriend away to Paris to ask her to marry me, so I wanted it to be a special occasion! I emailed the hotel in advance to check everything was ok and mentioned the pending engagement. Upon arrival we were told that we were upgraded to a suite and we were introduced to the Guest Relations manager who was extremely friendly and helpful. All the staff were very friendly. Our suite was out of this world, a very large room...

Check the room size when booking, and bring your laptop

The food was good, the staff were helpful, the location great, the bar pleasant, the reception area shiny in the way that you might expect from a smart hotel. Lots of little touches like having the weather forecast for the following day left on a card by the TV. Some of the rooms in this hotel are large and some are not, so do ask about the room dimensions before you book. The room I stayed in, a 300 euros a night room, was cramped. From the limited hanging space in the wardrobe, it was clearly only going to be used as a single room,...

Great find and location!!
from A TripAdvisor Member
I really enjoyed my stay here. It is in a great neighborhood and very close to everything you want to see! The metro is right in front which makes it easy to get around. The room was very nice and in great condition. They had turn down service and left many toiletries to use. I would go back anytime and stay here. The concierge even mapped out where we needed to go for us.
Excellent (with a couple of minor quibbles)
from Clint_Swagger
Lets me start by saying I loved this hotel. It is just over the road from Bossiere metro stop with Iena, Victor Hugo and Trocadero metro stops only 5 minutes walk. We were greeted by the consierge who took our cases to our room. The reception was immaculate and the reception staff very friendly. I speak passable French so we checked-in in French. The receptionist did speak English though. Our room was on the 6th floor. It wasn't particularly big but it didn't feel cramped. It was nicely decorated and had the most sumptious bed I've come...

Great
from CBoults
This hotel is in the heart of paris. I had booked it based on the reviews and was not disappointed. I didn't expect too much and there were great points and lesser great points but nothing disasterous. The hotel is located on the Avenue Kleber, but if you are getting a taxi to the hotel, use your map because depending on your starting point you might be better asking for the Arc de Triomphe and walking from there, otherwise the drivers slowly grind to a halt to gain that last penny. The Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Elysees were...

Lord Baltimore was not the owner!
from A TripAdvisor Member
In a previous post, someone mentioned that Lord Baltimore was the owner of the building that houses the Baltimore Hotel in Paris. This is simply not true. Lord Baltimore was the Hotel's first and most frequent guest, hence the name "Baltimore". The building was a private mansion designed by Gustav Eiffel, built in the 1890's and was converted to a hotel in the 1920's. On our last trip to Paris, we were driving past the hotel, thought it was interesting and decided to stay. The Baltimore has a very intimate atmosphere, and the staff is...

Nice little hotel
from Bondosan006
Boutique-feel hotel with tastefully decorated rooms in the 16th district. Pluses: large rooms (I had a superior king) extremely comfortable beds, quiet location, good access to Metro, close to Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe, helpful staff and good service - concierge, room service Minuses: Breakfast is expensive at 26 Euros. The fitness centre is tiny - no treadmill or bicycle machine even. Menu is limited as restaurant is small
love Paris
from A TripAdvisor Member
This was our first time to Paris, but not our last. We arrived to Paris on a Sat morning in August. The hotel checked us in immediately and showed us to our room. We had a queen bed with a beautiful little terrace. The room was a decent size from what I had heard about European hotel rooms. The bathroom was bright and clean. The shower only has a half glass pane. Be prepared to mop up the floors after showering. The staff is very kind. We did have a little difficulty conversing with some of the staff. We only knew a few sentences in French...
