Marian Apartments

great holiday but the location was a little out the way from the nightlife and if you even talk loudly then they switch of the lights and threaten to call the police the hotel was alright decent food and that sort of thing but a little bit to quite for my liking

We stayed in the Mariann apartments in June 2011 and had a great time there. Very young and lively and all guests were very friendly. Music plays all day from the bar. Food is basic but is OK for the money, depending on what you get. Toasties and burgers are ok for snacks but for a main meal the hotel is not the best. Drinks are the same price as they are in the West End. Staff are friendly and cheerful. The night porter is a bit of a pain but if your quiet he wont bother you. Its about a ten minute walk to the West End, and about a 15 minute walk to the beach. Our rep was fantastic got a great laugh with her. Our room was very small and basic but it was OK, it done us for the amount of time we spent in it. Room was cleaned a few times a week and had a pool view. The pool was warm and quite big and the hotel also has a tennis court.

I stayed her sep 2010, didnt arrive until about 2am and when we arrived everyone working were very cheerful, promtly showed us to our room which was the biggest one in the whole place. Both bar men were amazing and very good at there job even tho they work long hours they were always happy. The pool area was lovely and clean and our room was cleaned 3-4 times a week. The walk to the west end was about 5mins, but i liked it as i was getting exersise lol. Over all, i would defo reccomend someone to stay here as i would choose to use it again.the only thinf=g i would suggest to the hotel is keep the pool open until abit later than 7pm

We arrived quite late appox 3am and the staff were still up and reasonably chirpy. They got in our room promptly and we were buzzin for the rest of the week!
Eveything was as expected, food was very good! Full english for i think appox 5euros and that came with toast and tea aswel to sort that hangover in the morning. The pool was consantly clean and a nice deepend to dive in ( even tho is says no diving ) but the health and safty was quite relaxed shall we say.
But yeh we were a group of lads 6 and had a great time! The hotel in only about 5 min walk to the 'West End' where all the bars are too and about 10-15min to main clubs liek eden and es paradis.
Only downfall, there is a grumpy lil man who got the police in our appartment as he thought we were throwing objects on passers by but we were all pass out with over consumption ov alchohol but just proves he cares about he job and he apologised the next morning with a sex on the beach drink.

My 6th time to Ibiza and first time at the marian. First impressions were nothing special. We walked in through the bar at about 10pm which was busy with roudy teenagers. On checking in we were told we had to pay a 150euro deposit which we didnt know about. Our first night in our room girls above us were screaming, banging and keeping us awake. After losing my temper and shouting up they shut up. We complained in the morning and got move to room 305 on the top floor. The room was massive, our balcony was an L shape and you could run around it it was that big. From then on we had no noise atall, room was cleaned 2-3 times a week and new towels and bog roll everyday. Theres some old guy who sits downstairs all night, dont expect to be able to let anybody into your hotel room when hes on. Didnt spend alot of time in the hotel as we just used it for sleep but the times we did venture to the bar downstairs the bar staff were very friendly. The pool looked pretty decent aswell. Only bad thing I have to say is its full of teenagers.Ok if your a teenager yourself but im 25 and my girlfriends 31. I would of prefared it if there were people our age range instead of lager lout teens.

It was my first ever holiday, it was amazing the apartments werent anything special but they were clean, they were cleaned at least 3-4 times the week we stayed and the bar staff were so friendly. after reading a few reviews i was worried about staying there as people complained about the night porter but i had no problems at all with him. the apartments were a few mins walk from the west end were all the night life was it was pefect because you could get a good sleep and just go round the conner if you didnt want to. there was a nice enough sized pool out the back and the food was really nice. word of advise though dont eat the beef curry.

I had the best time of my life!! I plan to go back every year!! My friend and I had the biggest room in the place and the balcony stretched right around the app!! Alex is a sweetie once ya be nice 2 him!! eventhough he did threaten to call the spanish police and kick us out!! but usually he just turns off the electricity!!
The night barman (we named him Paddy) was cool a bit pervy at some times though!! but he was a brilliant laugh! Really nice apartments and really friendly staff! the maids are really good and trustworthy! i dont have a bad word to say about them....just BRILLIANT!!!!! recommend the marian to anyone!!

stayed in these apt last week had a brill time..only problem is the man on the door will turn off the electricity late at night if he hears any noise..otherwise had no other problem.Food was cheap in the apartments and staff were very friendly.Rooms were basic try and get the new side the apartments are away nicer.
overall this accomodation is worth while...

Having been to Ibiza a few times, I have to say, it doesn't get much better than this... in a good way. I loved the Marian Apartments and will return again year after year.
Food is very cheap and tasty, although nothing special. No problems getting sun loungers and whack on a few chill-out cd's after a big night in a big club.
The only flaw in the service (surprise surprise) is the night porter, his name is Alex, but he is a big puppy dog really once you speak to him nicely and don't make noise! Barman/waiter named "Beppi" has to be one of the nicest guys I've met, he will sit and have a drink with you when you come in from a night on the town and have a bit of craic.
These apartments are very good for us Irish visitors as mostly Irish stay in this resort, and it's better to stick to your own kind!

I love these apartments! Stayed there the last 3 times I was in Ibiza. Apartments are nice, clean with air con and they are spacious. The pool is big and the pool area is nice with pool tables and other games. The bar has a big variety of drinks and the food is really nice and very cheap.
The only thing that I don't really like is the very grumpy night porter man that comes on about 11ish. He doesn’t let anyone up to the apartment if they aren’t staying there, which is a big annoying if you want to bring your friends up for a drink. But, we got over that and it didn’t take the greatness away from the Marian.
I would recommend these 100% (not for families though). I'll be going back next year definitely!
