On a hillside, set in pretty gardens with stunning views of Pefkos, is this well kept property in separate blocks, offering twin bedded studios for 2-3 people, all with air conditioning, safety deposit boxes (payable locally) and sea view. The Dimitris also has it’s own swimming pool, children’s pool and pool bar offering snacks. The resort centre is approximately a 10-12 minute walk away, where you can find plenty of supermarkets, tavernas and bars, a further 5 minutes stroll will bring you to the main beach. Due to the steep access, this property is not suitable for those with walking difficulties. All with: private shower and bath/wc, kitchenette, hairdryers, balcony or patio. loading...

Stayed at the dimitris studios in june 2009. Cannot fault the accommodation, friendly staff, great views, excellent pool and set in well tended gardens. This accomodation may be unsuitable for elderly guests due to a steep climb which in the heat is uncomfortable but we had a car so this proved no problem. Taxi cost 4 euros from centre to Dimitris studios. The resort has plenty of restaurants, could choose a different one every night on our 14 days stay. The best restaurant is the colleseum, food is exellent and the worst was a restaurant called the hellas right at the end of the resort on a corner. They served fake steaks and in a salmon pasta dish the portion of salmon was paultry, we thought they were serving food on the cheap so avoid this one if you can.

Went to Demitris studio on 13th May 2009, had heard good reports of this small complex and it was all true. On arrival we were met at the gates of the studio with a warm welcome, told our room numbers and went straight to them, no lengthy booking in proceedure. The appartments were clean, roomy and the view from the balcony was to die for. Uninterrupted view across the swimming pool, down to the village and the sea, it was wonderful. This was Greece like it used to be, being woken up by the sound of goats and sheep wondering around. It is at the top of a steep hill, so its a bit of a walk into the village, it takes about 20 mins but it is very pleasant. It is however very tiring to walk back up, but it is only a 4 euro taxi ride back at night. The village has a lot of good tavernas but avoid Blue Bay its very expensive and the food is awful. Apart from this we never had a bad meal. We used "Flyers" taverna on the beach for breakfast in the morning, yes its a bit of a walk but what a setting, and the food was great, and the people very friendly, they also own the airstrip next door and for 50 euros you can take a sightseeing trip in there aircraft. The holiday was perfect just a note of caution, no bank nearby but a couple of cash machines when they are working. We went early season but the weather was great and the resort quiet, which was what we wanted there was 4 people in our party and including us, the most people around the pool at any time was about 10.
Would I go again ? Book me a flight tomorrow. We know that nothing is as cheap as it used to be, a meal in a taverna at night for 4 of us was anything between 80-100 euros but that was with wine and everything. Rhodes town about 2 hours away and only 5 euros on the bus is well worth a visit, but beware we stopped and had 2 milkshakes a coke and a beer and the bill was over 16 euros, well worth a visit but dont buy anything, If your thinking of going do it its great.

Just spent a week at the Dimitris Studios and can agree with everything that has already been said by others. The studios are very clean and tidy with stunning views over the Bay Of Pefki. The grounds around the complex are very well maintained and are of a very high standard. On the down side..Everything in the pool bar is well over priced, nearly double of that you can find in the town.The air-con in the rooms,( which you definatly need ) is 55 euros a week =£50.Safety deposit boxes are 10 euros.. ( which you proberbly wont need ) Oh and that BLOODY BIG HILL to get up and down to the main part of Pefkos.It really is a killer in that kind of heat !!! Try and find a small family run resturant called " Blue Bay" its around half way down the main street towards Eclipes Bar.. the food there is some of the freshest and well cooked in Pefkos. Its also one of the most reasonably priced in the resort and the waiters are also very friendly .The night life in Pefkos is low key with the music being turned off at 12 in the bars and 1.00 in the clubs. Head for Lindos if your looking for late night closing, these clubs close when the last person leaves...even if thats 8.00 in the morning. All in all we had a great holiday but with the pound being weak against the euro, make sure you take plenty of spending money.

our 4th year at the dimitris. it gets better every year! views over pefkos are fantastic every year we go its like seeing it for the first time .our favourite places to eat are the artemis gardens, dilitsia and la piazza.the palm cocktail bar is a great place to go every one is so friendley and its a great laugh.a fun thing to do is hiring a speed boat at the main beach 50 euros for 2 hrs. looking forward to going again next year.

Our sixth time to pefkos, and by far the best apartments,stayed in different ones each time.my 10/10 says it all.Pefkos itself has'nt changed much over the eighteen years we've been coming ,still nice and compact.The hill up back up to the Dimitris is a toil even when fit,but there are taxi's..4euros.

Have just returned from our holiday staying at the Dimitris Studio Apartments.
What can I say.. the apartment my husband and I stayed in was in the new building, these apartments are very spacious, clean and modern, there is aircon (available at a charge) which I would recommend as it was very warm when we were there in June, high 30 low 40. the apartments are set in very nice gardens, the swimming pool and bar area is also very modern. The apartments are set at the top of a very steep hill, but the views from all of the rooms are fantastic and well worth the walk up the hill, though if you are feeling lazy then there are taxi's at the bottom of the hill. I have no hesitation in recommending these apartments, and would certainly come back.

Went to Dimitris end Sept start Oct 07, what a lovely place, lovely kept gardens, clean modern studios, bath, shower, curtain and hair-dryer. Views are wonderful, you are at the top of the hill overlooking the town, you could sit looking at the view for ever. Many photos of sunsets were taken.
Only complaints is the men at the bar don't make this place as welcoming as it should be and room 101 is right next to the pool and you could hear the pump at night, loud! Very steep hill to town, get taxi up 4euros.
Most places good for food, we tried Enigma, Red Dragon Chinese, Indian - Shanghai think it was called, and Artemis all good meals. Try Eclipse for some drinks, what a place, brilliant, mesmerized by the waterfall, and for a fun evening go to Wild West bar, Yianni will soon get you all up dancing, thanks for the lifts home up the hill Yianni.
The main beach is nice but gets packed, but there are a couple beaches either side which is quieter, we went snorkelling most days, the fish take bread out of your hands.
Went to Lindos for the evening, interesting but wouldn't want to stay there, and went to Lardos and totally glad we didn't stay there too, made the best choice with Pefkos. We liked the fact that it wasn't full of loud teenagers, mostly middle aged sensible people who know how to have fun and relax. Must say thanks to Vic and Lynne who we had some laughs with, nice to have met you.
The weather was sun every day, high 80's low 90's, but 3 days running it was over 100, unusual for this time of year. If you went out in the summer months would def need air con, very expensive though. Would def return here, best place we have stayed in Greek islands so far, but bar staff cheer up and make it more fun, we would of spent more evenings at the pool bar then.

We have just returned from Pefkos in Rhodes, where we stayed at the Dimitris Studios. This was my fellas first trip to Rhodes and was a little worried after just booking the holiday with no recommendations and only the small picture in the Kosmar book.
As soon as the transfer bus pulled up and we saw the beautiful gardens, the pool, studios and of course the fantastic view we knew we had booked the best place on the island.
The Dimitris studios are perfect for a relaxing holiday, to catch some sun and to enjoy some well deserved down time from work.
Each morning the wild goats would walk past the fence and look in at the tasty green grass of the lawns and look fed up because they could not reach it. Again, in the evening they would pass again - but they did enjoy the bread and bits people put over the fence for them.
The sunsets are to die for - I think I have come back with about 10 pictures. The food, wine, beers everything was perfect.
The town and the beach, the restaurants and the little shops are just great. A talked about in other reviews the only downside is the hill, but lets face it we ate and enjoyed all our food and walked up the hill 2 or 3 times a day - and coming back off holiday we have not gained an ounce - so, getting walking that hill - it does you good.
If you go, enjoy it, relax and have a great time. I know we did.

Well what can I say? Both my husband and I had a fantastic time in the Dimitris Studio Apartments Pefkos. It was our first time to Greece and we have already booked to go back with our grown up family next August 2008.
The Dimitris is set at the top of the hill out of Pefkos, but did not cause any problem at all. We enjoy walking so this was a doddle to us. Even after a good many drinks at night... Once you were passed the bakery half way up you are there.
The Dimitris are very clean and spacious; the views are to die for looking all over Pefkos. The pubs and restaurants were all fab that we ate and drank in; we had fabulous meals every night, they were lush. Greek food is perfect.
The beach in Pefkos is nice and sandy. The bus into Lindos is only 1.20 euro and 5 euro back in taxi if you wish. We took a bus into Rhodes which was 6 euro and a bit more pricey for taxi back (44 euro). We enjoyed it though as the taxi driver was very friendly and gave us a little tour on the way back.
The Greek people are very, very friendly, I could go on forever! For anyone going there for the first time you will have a fab time I can assure you. We cannot wait to take our grown up family and their partners with us next year.

The Dimitris Studios have the most beautiful sea views of Pefkos from each and every studio. The studios are fantastic, the best by far we have stayed at in Greece. They were spacious and spotless with fabulous balconies.
I would recommend paying the 100 euros for the air conditioning, it was the best money we spent especially as the temperatures outside were reaching 45 degrees.
Dimitris is set in lovely landscaped gardens which are not done justice by the photographs in the brochure. The pool and pool bar area are gorgeous both sharing the same magnificent views over Pefkos.
Pool bar serves food from 9am to 10pm every day with a huge selection to chose from, everything we ate here was brilliant. The only thing to let the pool bar down was the miserable English waitress they have recently hired.
I never saw her smile in the whole two weeks we were there, which was a shame because if I was working in such lovely surroundings I'd definitely have a huge smile on my face.
Dimitris is set at the top of a steep hill into Pefkos. The walk down is less than ten minutes with a delicious bakery on the way. However the walk back up in the intense heat is not recommended.
There is a taxi station at the bottom of the hill and it is 4 euros and about 30 seconds back up the hill, well worth it!
Everywhere we ate in Pefkos was amazing; we did not have a bad meal. We particularly enjoyed Lindos Cuisine, Hellas, Nostalgia, Tsambikos and Artemis. There are enough restaurants to eat somewhere different every meal time if you chose to do so.
The bars here are also very good, Jasmine is a nice relaxed cocktail bar, however if you want something a bit more livelier turn right at the bottom of the hill and carry on to the end of the road where you will find the brilliant Eclipse club.
We spent many a night in Buddies bar a small and very welcoming bar run by a lovely English couple. The bar is very relaxed with many games and puzzles for you to try your hand at whilst enjoying your favourite cocktail; I enjoyed their 'cheeky vimtos'.
The main beach of Pefkos is beautiful the waters are warm, clean and shallow and the beach is kept very clean, 8 euros for two sun beds and an umbrella. It does get extremely hot down at the beach but there are a couple of beach bars to retire to if it gets too much.
The glass bottom boat to Lindos is a must. The best thing we did whilst in Pefkos. Wear your swimwear and take your camera. It stops for a swim in the bluest waters I have ever seen! The Captain was very funny and made the trip very enjoyable.
All in all we had a lovely holiday at the Dimitris Studios and would highly recommend it to anyone looking at holidaying in Pefkos.

As good as ever 7th time for my wife and I to Dimitris we love the place beautiful and clean great views over pefkos bay. A must for anyone who loves Rhodes.
The new block is as good as the old ones the gardens at the Dimitris are a1 and are looked after with great care.
The new bar area is also an improvement but it’s a shame about the sour faced waitress who’s been employed but food is still good and is now served all day well depends on when Stefan gets there aprox 9-12 am depends on his night out.
But putting things a side we still love the place great pool great view and rooms plus the weather steaming

We have just come back from a great week in Pefkos and can thoroughly recommend Dimitris Studios. The apartment was both spacious and spotless - first time we have ever had a bath in a Greek apartment.
There was plenty of hot water day and night although we would recommend you bring a spare towel as each person only gets one. The pool was probably the cleanest we have ever used and the on site pool bar was listed as serving snacks but did a lot more than that. Hot or cold food was available right up until 10pm. The sea views from both apartment and poolside are fantastic.
The Staff at the complex were polite and helpful at all times.
The walk downhill to Pefkos is great - but the return is a bit of a stinker. (there are taxis willing to take you up for 4 euros).
However, at the bottom of the hill you will find our favourite Taverna - Tsambikos, where you are made very welcome and the food is amazing.
Whilst Corfu remains our first love we will certainly go back to Pefkos as we had such an enjoyable time.

Just got back from Dimitris 7 of us for my 50th birthday so here we go yes set on a hillside but the views are tremendous from up there see the sun setting over the mountains car hire not a bad idea from day one you can stock up at the many supermarkets beer, cold drinks, soups, we were paying 3 euros for a pint at the hotel bar, very clean though the whole place and just had gardens done which really are a credit to the guy that did them.
The bar staff could do with some happy pills though. Be prepared to pay 100 euros for the air conditioning (2 weeks) a must though the hottest place we have ever been I think but overall a really nice place to stay we were going to stay in Lindos which is about 2 miles away a really nice place to visit in the evenings though to hot and crowded during the day but a really pretty place to see and by the way the food is better in Pefkos trust me on that one we hope to go back next year.

This was our first time in Pefkos and it was excellent, we had such a nice time the apartments were of a very high standard. The woman comes to clean everyday which is good but my partner likes a lie in so it sometimes got on her nerves!!
We started the day with breakfast at the Dimitris which had such a good menu and choice of drinks, the pool was lovely and cleaned every night with great views of pefkos and the sea.
We had a day in Lindos which has a lovely beach and pedalos for 10 euros for one hour. The glass bottom boat trip is a must as its only 18 euros for the 2 hour trip, you get to stop for a swim and they give out free drinks, the boat driver was very funny and made the trip really fun!!
The nightlife is ideal for a couple as it is for everyone I suppose. The pane di capo bar was ideal to relax and get drunk but if you want to see Brits and Greeks embarrassing themselves dancing on bars and banging music, go to the eclipse bar which is fun!
being from Newcastle we decided to go to the Geordie bar on the first night to get some ideas where to go and what to do and to our horror the proprietors are Mackems although they probably wouldn’t admit it!.
The food is also amazing everywhere especially the enigma but be warned, the nice looking nostalgia restaurant is a Venus flytrap, great views and setting but the food is garbage!!
p.s we all know that pedaloes are fun we had a great time in lindos on one but forget renting the only pedaloe on pefkos beach its harder to pedal than a 100ft rat wheel.
All in all had a lovely time and would defiantly go back.
We started the day with breakfast at the Dimitris which had such a good menu and choice of drinks, the pool was lovely and cleaned every night with great views of pefkos and the sea.
We had a day in Lindos which has a lovely beach and pedalos for 10 euros for one hour. The glass bottom boat trip is a must as its only 18 euros for the 2 hour trip, you get to stop for a swim and they give out free drinks, the boat driver was very funny and made the trip really fun!!
The nightlife is ideal for a couple as it is for everyone I suppose. The pane di capo bar was ideal to relax and get drunk but if you want to see Brits and Greeks embarrassing themselves dancing on bars and banging music, go to the eclipse bar which is fun!
being from Newcastle we decided to go to the Geordie bar on the first night to get some ideas where to go and what to do and to our horror the proprietors are Mackems although they probably wouldn’t admit it!.
The food is also amazing everywhere especially the enigma but be warned, the nice looking nostalgia restaurant is a Venus flytrap, great views and setting but the food is garbage!!
