As good as ever 7th time for my wife and I to Dimitris we love the place beautiful and clean great views over pefkos bay. A must for anyone who loves Rhodes.
The new block is as good as the old ones the gardens at the Dimitris are a1 and are looked after with great care.
The new bar area is also an improvement but it’s a shame about the sour faced waitress who’s been employed but food is still good and is now served all day well depends on when Stefan gets there aprox 9-12 am depends on his night out.

But putting things a side we still love the place great pool great view and rooms plus the weather steaming
Plenty of places to eat and drink our favourite is the artemis garden ace food and staff are lovely.
A must for anyone is to hire a car and head south to find some great quite beaches ideal for snorkelling bathing and catching the rays car hire starts from a about 55 euros £36.
For a small car try zeus on the beach road no problems with them.
Hope this helps and we’ve booked again for Sept 15 07 so that says it all cannot beat it.

We have just come back from a great week in Pefkos and can thoroughly recommend Dimitris Studios. The apartment was both spacious and spotless - first time we have ever had a bath in a Greek apartment.
There was plenty of hot water day and night although we would recommend you bring a spare towel as each person only gets one. The pool was probably the cleanest we have ever used and the on site pool bar was listed as serving snacks but did a lot more than that. Hot or cold food was available right up until 10pm. The sea views from both apartment and poolside are fantastic.
The Staff at the complex were polite and helpful at all times.
The walk downhill to Pefkos is great - but the return is a bit of a stinker. (there are taxis willing to take you up for 4 euros).
However, at the bottom of the hill you will find our favourite Taverna - Tsambikos, where you are made very welcome and the food is amazing.
Whilst Corfu remains our first love we will certainly go back to Pefkos as we had such an enjoyable time.

Just got back from Dimitris 7 of us for my 50th birthday so here we go yes set on a hillside but the views are tremendous from up there see the sun setting over the mountains car hire not a bad idea from day one you can stock up at the many supermarkets beer, cold drinks, soups, we were paying 3 euros for a pint at the hotel bar, very clean though the whole place and just had gardens done which really are a credit to the guy that did them.
The bar staff could do with some happy pills though. Be prepared to pay 100 euros for the air conditioning (2 weeks) a must though the hottest place we have ever been I think but overall a really nice place to stay we were going to stay in Lindos which is about 2 miles away a really nice place to visit in the evenings though to hot and crowded during the day but a really pretty place to see and by the way the food is better in Pefkos trust me on that one we hope to go back next year.

This was our first time in Pefkos and it was excellent, we had such a nice time the apartments were of a very high standard. The woman comes to clean everyday which is good but my partner likes a lie in so it sometimes got on her nerves!!
We started the day with breakfast at the Dimitris which had such a good menu and choice of drinks, the pool was lovely and cleaned every night with great views of pefkos and the sea.
We had a day in Lindos which has a lovely beach and pedalos for 10 euros for one hour. The glass bottom boat trip is a must as its only 18 euros for the 2 hour trip, you get to stop for a swim and they give out free drinks, the boat driver was very funny and made the trip really fun!!
The nightlife is ideal for a couple as it is for everyone I suppose. The pane di capo bar was ideal to relax and get drunk but if you want to see Brits and Greeks embarrassing themselves dancing on bars and banging music, go to the eclipse bar which is fun!
being from Newcastle we decided to go to the Geordie bar on the first night to get some ideas where to go and what to do and to our horror the proprietors are Mackems although they probably wouldn’t admit it!.

The food is also amazing everywhere especially the enigma but be warned, the nice looking nostalgia restaurant is a Venus flytrap, great views and setting but the food is garbage!!
p.s we all know that pedaloes are fun we had a great time in lindos on one but forget renting the only pedaloe on pefkos beach its harder to pedal than a 100ft rat wheel.
All in all had a lovely time and would defiantly go back.

These apartments are absolutely superb! We were the first guests in the new block and everything was better than we have ever experienced on a Greek Island before.
The apartments and grounds are wonderfully landscaped and looked after, the rooms are clean and well maintained and the pool and pool bar is fantastic.
The food on offer is out of this world and very good value for money.
Ideal for children as due the position of the apartments (i.e., top of the biggest hill you have ever seen) there is nothing for them to want want want all day, but if you want to move away from the apartments and pool, then a walk down the hill takes you to the lovely town of Pefkos, I would recommend a 4 euro taxi fare to get back!
We went to these apartments on the recommendation of family and friends, and will definitely visit again.

It's the first time my wife and I have been away together without the kids and I don't think we could have picked a better place than the Dimitris Studios. What a great place to chill out and finish the evening off with a few nightcaps on the balcony looking out over Pefkos with the soft murmur of the town below drifting up the hill along with the scent of pine trees.
The Studios are spotlessly clean and spacious and come with kettle and hairdryer and air conditioning (at a price) and all have a great view over Pefkos. A new block of studios (12 I think) has just been opened and were fully booked.
The pool is absolutely spot on, very clean and plenty of sun beds to go round. The pool bar area is again spacious spotless and serves really good snacks and comes with a pool table and internet access. The owners have invested a lot of money in landscaping the grounds and they look splendid.
The flip side to the great view is that Dimitris is situated on top of a hill with a steady walk down but hard work coming back, especially in the heat, but taxis are readily available and cost 4 euros for the trip back.
The beaches were clean (sun bed hire 4 euros) and sea clear and great for swimming and snorkelling with plenty of people fishing off the rocks.
Entertainment in the evening is low key with strolling about and eating the main things to do. Everywhere we ate the food was excellent especially Nikolas and Artemis. The best nights were at the Filimon Apartments barbeque where the owner (Filimon) puts a wig onto everyone and gets them up Greek dancing and singing Tom Jones Delila on the Karaoke, really is a great night out, then a steady walk (stagger) up the hill back to Dimitris, looking out for the semi wild goats on the way back.
Went to Lindos and got a donkey up the hill to the Acropollis, what a laugh, also found Lindos a great place for shopping and loads of rooftop restraints where you can look down on the people below looking for souvenirs.
Pefkos is a great place to chill out and Dimitris is probably the best place to do it.
Definitely going back in the near future.

This was our first time in Rhodes, I, my 6 year old daughter and my parents, and when we walked out of our studios to see the view and the pool, well it took our breath away! Absolutely amazing!
The pool side bar is new this year and had been finished over the winter, as well as a new block of studios in the gardens of the other two blocks. I was staying in one of the older studios, but the facilities of these were great. I've been used to very basis Greek holiday, so to have a bath with a shower curtain was pure luxury. There was even a hairdryer in the bathroom! The studios were clean and spacious (I'm sure they could get a fourth bed in all that space!)
We all had a look round the new studios; bathrooms are fantastic, glass shower screen, proper pull out sofa bed. I definitely want to be in the new block next year.
The hill was no problem coming back up to the studios, as the taxi did all of the hard work. 4 euros, you would be made to walk it.
Went to Lardos one night and ate at Valantinos, they do Pastitio (I've searched for years to find this on a menu and its hard to find) but they do it every night. The food was that good we went back the next night.
Some very plush restaurants in Pefkos, and I can agree with other comments about not being able to see the traditional Greek, but you can get this in Lindos and Lardos. Best places to eat in Pefkos were Nostalgia and Enigma.
The poolside bar serve great food, fabulous breakfast food, my favourite was the bacon and egg baguette. The salads at lunch were lovely and large.
Never saw one bug in the pool, very clean. But we did have an ant problem in the studios, very small though, did not cause us a problem.
The gardens and setting is amazing, the benefit of being up on a hill. Will definitely go back.

I went to the Dimitris Studios with my husband and daughter (aged 7).
What a beautiful place. The accommodation was spotless, the apartment was on the ground floor and had a view all over Pefkos town.
When we arrived at our apartments tired and exhausted from the journey what I saw was breath taking, I felt I had just arrived in paradise. We enjoyed it so much we are going back on holiday to Pefkos but sadly boo hoo!!
My family has increased from 3 to 5 and Dimitris do not cater for 5 in their accommodation so I have had to book alternative accommodation, but if they had an apartment for 5, I would not hesitate to book here again and again.
I have been going to Greece since 1985 and because the Greek people were so nice and friendly, I only ever go on holiday to Greece now.
I want to Thank You Dimitris for the best holiday I have ever had in Greece, and the fond memories, and the funny memories especially Cardiac Hill, whatever you do don't let the hill put you off going here the stunning scenery takes your breath away, if the hill hasn't.
Our favourite restaurant was the Hellas Restaurant, the food was lovely and the service was 1st class, my daughter played endlessly with the little girl called Georgia in the play area here and they were best friends by the end of the holiday, Georgia showed my daughter all the herbs growing around the restaurant which she found amazing.
We were here for 2 weeks and ate out every night at different restaurants most nights, but we came back to the Hellas 3 or 4 times and we didn’t have a bad meal at all.
We had a night flight when coming home, and we stayed by the pool bar until the coach picked us up at about 2am in the morning and although we didn’t have a room when we were tired we layed on the sunbeds by the pool taking in the scenery of Pefkos by night, and what better way to reflect on your holiday than laying on a sunbed in the dark of night watching the stars in the sky, Dimitris is the things dreams are made of.
Dimitris a big huge Thank you, but please get a room for 5, then I can come again.

This was our first time to the island and to Pefkos and can quite happily say we will definitely be going back this summer.

The apartments were superb; very clean and spacious. I must admit, the air-con is a bit pricey but that can't be helped and it does come in very useful.
There is a fabulous pool and snack bar.
The only qualms we had was with 'Heart-attack hill'. (The apartments are situated at the top of the hill). It was far to steep to walk up during the daytime due to the heat, but the taxi service is very cheap on the island and so it's brilliant to catch a taxi here and there and to neighbouring resorts.
Everywhere we ate was superb; can't say a bad word about any of our meals although some places suffered really bad from wasps and it can be a bit off putting, especially if you're like my girlfriend and runs a mile every time she seen one!
The staff at the apartments were really friendly and very helpful and the food served in the snack bar was excellent; a favourite of mine is definitely the club sandwich.
Bars to go to; I'd definitely say Peacocks was a favourite of ours; a friendly little cocktail garden and quite cheap. Looking forward to going back, YAMMAS !

Although the decor was a little dated the apartments were very spacious. The pool was of an adequate size and there were always plenty of sun loungers.
The food was good and the family who ran the apartments were really friendly and helpful. There was also a pool table and a large TV for watching the football (or anything else you requested).
Situated in Malia it was a bit of a distance out from the main strip so you could get some sleep if you wanted. However, this was walking distance or, if like me you are lazy, then just a few euros in a taxi.
