Chateau Frontenac Hotel

I read all of these before I went and have to say yeah the bedroom isn't massive but is not tiny. The bathroom is a good size, got the girlfriends seal of approval. The staff were friendly and were able to pick through my french enough to answer me in english. It's really ideal for the ave champs-elysee and to be honest within a couple of stops from all the 'typical' attractions. Excellent for a nice weekend.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in September with my husband to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary. First impressions were better than average-I don't think you could get closer to the Champs Elysees unless you were staying right on it! The location is fantastic with many designer shops, cafes, bars & restaurants right on your doorstep. The hotel itself is very nice & quiet but fairly small. I am very surprise to read the previous comment. My experience is in line with all the other positives comments: I have been to the Chateau Frontenac at least 8 times this year (for business and for pleasure). I have to say the rooms were always very spacious with great beds, no noise( I love the double doors stopping noise from the corridor) and no hassles (I am a non smoker). I was booked in the hotel by a travel agent who advised that this is a suitable hotel for our wedding anniversery. My wife and I were given the choice between two very small rooms with very poor furniture. Both rooms were smeeling bad from smoking in them. When we asked for larger and better rooms and non smoking ones we were not offered any. We asked to leave next morning to go to another hotel and informed the hotel and agent of that so as not to pay for additional nights. I would like to share my wonderful experience at the Hotel Chateau Frontenac. The check-in staff make you feel at home from the very start. The rooms are spacious and stylish and the location is unbeatable. The knowledgeable concierge will give you great advice for sightseeing and restaurants if you are new to Paris. All in all, a very pleasant stay, this hotel makes you feel very welcome-

This hotel was in a great location only about 4 blocks from the Chammps Elysee and about 15 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. The entire staff was very courteous and helpful. Jean Paul, the concierge, was tremendous with any and all of my requests. There's plenty to do and eat all around this hotel. If I had one complaint it would be that I could hear the tv of the room next to me. Not sure if it was because the walls were thin or because the person was blasting the volume.

This hotel is centrally located to most tourist destinations. The room was clean and larger than my friends at another more costly hotel. Price wise, I don't think you can beat it for the location. The staff was friendly and efficient. The only complaints were that we could hear our neighbors, and the room was HOT. I have stayed twice at the Chateau Frontenac in Paris and all I have to say is that it is the best hotel in the area. It is right next to Champs Ellysses (very practical). I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who has good taste and likes luxury. It is not expensive, though it is incredible and reminds you of old Paris. Everything about the hotel was perfect. The service, location and room. My room was on the top floor with a large terrace. Overall the hotel was outstanding. I only had one complaint, we arrived in Paris at 7:00 in the morning and when we got to the hotel, we were told that our room was not ready and would be available in an hour. I stayed at the Chateau Frontenac Hotel, 54, Rue Pierrce Charron-75008 Paris, France for one week during the 2003-2004 New Year. I found the hotel very nice and quite, however the cigarette and cigar smoking was uncontrolled and unrestricted throughout the building. I developed a bad odor in all of my clothing and found it difficult to sleep some nights due to the corridor and foyer area smokers gathering.
