We were greeted at the reception by the lovely staff, Tatiana and Brian especially, and we were given a courtesy coffee and donut while we explained our situation.
We couldn't believe it when they told us that they did have a room to sleep the 3 of us for the following 6 nights, so we checked in straight away.
The room was like a palace compared to the Carter. It was modern, spotless, a good size and it also had a fridge and a kettle. It had plenty of cupboard and drawer space and there was even a partition which separated the double bed area and the single bed area.
Every morning we could relax in the lounge with our breakfast which included unlimited fresh orange juice, tea, coffee, donuts, muffins and danishes.
The staff were always so friendly and gave us lots of useful tourist information.
One evening we had a blocked toilet and the caretaker was there within minutes to fix it. Being in Times Square it was perfectly located for us to go shopping, sightseeing and the theatre is only a stroll away.
The hotel was so wonderful I was upset to leave. I would love to return.
