This has got to be the worst hotel ever, cleanliness goes out of the window, food was awaful and the service was terrible. We were told it was a 5 star hotel, it turns out that its a 4 star. Personally I think it should be a 3 star. If you can avoid this hotel then please do... more

The service and care of the staff was great. The only downside was that to go to the sea you had to cross the road and go through the Radisson. The Park Inn slot on the Radisson beach was quite small and not very nice compared to the rest of the beach. However, the Park... more

My sister-in-law and I have recently spent 2 weeks in this hotel (15th September to the 29th September). We were both very stress and worn out, for different reasons, and I can honestly say we could not have chosen a better place to stay. The hotel was spotlessly clean,... more

We have just returned home from a two week stay at this hotel and for the first time ever we all couldn't wait to get home. This was our fourth time in Sharm and therefore, the failings of this hotel were clearly apparent from day one!! The food is awful and the cleanliness... more

We have travelled all over the world in all inclusive 3*, 4* and 5* and this is the worst hotel that we have evered stayed in! Dont be fooled by the All Inclusive but as you had to pay for icecream round the pool, fresh orange on a morning and whilst the world cup was on... more

golden resort aqua fun, what aqua fun!!!!
The rooms we stayed in were excellent and cleaned on a daily basis, but beware of the cleaners, they have a habit of using your deoderant, toothbrushes, perfume etc. We resorted to locking all our toiletries in the safe (free of charge). Take a spare card with you like tesco club card as you have to leave your key card in a switch to activate the air con, if you dont the room is very hot when you return after being out all day. The food is about average but it does get a bit repetative after a while, mon-french food, tues-bedouin night... more
Disappointing
Myself and my husband spent one week in the Golden Resort. We will not be going back! This hotel is selling itself on the back of the Radisson across the road, which is by far a much more superior complex. Staff in the Golden resort are friendly, however the hotel overall is lacking in 'atmosphere', the dining room is by no means a place where you can enjoy a meal! Its more like a canteen...at least thats how we seen it. Although we were there on an all inclusive, we actually ate in the Radisson across the road@ extra... more
Egypt belly is unavoidable
The hotel is clean and well maintained and the rooms are of a good size however...there is nothing to do in the evening as the entertainment is none existent. The temparature at night is stifling and no breeze so take a fan with you. They advertise a waterpark that is not going to be finished until 2010. They only rinse the cups/glasses from around the pool so bacteria etc is spread amongst the guests. The buffet restaurant is very standard and the same foods every day. In my opinion this is a 3* hotel. There is no escaping... more
Fab Holiday... loved evey minute.
Me & my fiance stayed at the Golden resort for 1 week from 12th nov until 19th nov. We had a fabulous time, could not fault anythin at the hotel. Rooms are lovely, big and clean. The food was good, pleanty of choice buffett style food, different theme each night. Tuesday night was bedouin night, its a must kebabs are superb. The hotel has two pools, one which was heated in november, there are also pleanty of sunbeds to relax on. All the staff at the hotel were very friendly and could not do enough to help you. We also went to namma... more
Amazing holiday
This hotel was just amazing - do not worry. The 2 pools and gardens are gorgeous and always kept immaculate - there is always somebody cleaning something at this hotel! They never stop! Each pool has its own bar with the furthest away one having the swim up bar - this was our preference! The rooms are spacious and clean. They have 2 double beds, plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, a fridge, full bathroom, hairdryer and a balcony (or terrace if you are on the ground floor) which gorgeous views of the pools/gardens. The... more
Great Get Away
My girlfriend and I went here for 1 week. The weather was fantastic, the hotel was great. The room itself was huge and very clean. The entertainment team were good, very friendly and knew not to bother you if you didn't want them to. The food is what you would expect of an all inclusive hotel. The buffets were nice with lots of choice. It's not fantastic but you will not go hungry. The Sea was beautiful - So clear. The beach itself isn't great though. Overall if you just want to relax for a week or two, this is the place to go! more
Absolutely fantastic!
From start to finish my holiday was absolutely fantastic! The Golden Resort was just amazing, the staff couldnt do enough for the guests, the atmosphere was so lovely, even the children were quiet & well behaved! lol... the rooms were large, airy, incredibly clean, sheets & towels changed daily. Large balconys on all rooms overlooked ornamental gardens & the huge lagoon style pools & swim up bars! The food was buffet style and the variety was fantastic! a different countries cuisine was offered each evening. There was so much for... more
Great getaway
I have recently returned from the Golden Resort in March. Me and boyfriend spent a week there as we were both in need of a holiday. The hotel was fab, all the staff were really friendly and polite and could'nt do enough. The rooms were spot on, cleaned everyday and they even made out towels into shapes, which was a sweet touch. Ive nothing really bad to say apart from there could of been more on the menu, it was the same every night pretty much and i did get an upset tummy on the 3rd day. Also there was no entertainment,... more
Golden Resort
We have just returned from a fantastic holiday at the Golden Resort. The hotel is brand new and the staff are wonderful. Everything at the hotel was all inclusive - as much beer/spirits/soft drinks/tea and coffee as you wanted. Both the pool bars served alcohol and snacks (one did not serve beer but had a choice of at least 20 cocktails). There were fridges in the room but no mini bars. If you buy a bottle of water (£1.20) you can fill it as many times as you like at all the bars. There are 2 pool bars at the Golden... more
Golden Resort - excellent holiday!
Firstly - a holiday is what you make of it but here is our honest (and hopefully useful opinion!). We spent 2 weeks here in late March 2007. Please DO NOT get this mixed up with the Radisson SAS Hotel on the beach over the road. The Golden Resort (terracotta colour!) is the all inclusive and sister hotel of the Radisson SAS. THE AIRPORT - be prepared - it is chaos! Chill out though - this is the start of your holiday. Be advised that you DO NOT need a visa if you are staying in the Sinai area but you will still need an immigration... more
