This has got to be the worst hotel ever, cleanliness goes out of the window, food was awaful and the service was terrible. We were told it was a 5 star hotel, it turns out that its a 4 star. Personally I think it should be a 3 star. If you can avoid this hotel then please do so. The staff on reception were rude and unhelpful. We complained about the level of cleanliness and they gave us a superior pink band which allowed us to have a meal in a seperate restaurant. As it so happens this was only open for 3 out of the 7 days we were there as there were not enough Superior paying visitors. The hotel was predominantly full of Russian holiday makers, on our last two days we were kept up till 3am by Russians banging on doors, shouting and screaming in the hallway. We phoned reception and told them of the noise, they were unable to keep them quiet. We couldn't wait to get back.

The service and care of the staff was great. The only downside was that to go to the sea you had to cross the road and go through the Radisson. The Park Inn slot on the Radisson beach was quite small and not very nice compared to the rest of the beach. However, the Park Inn itself was great. The room was very comfortable and clean, as was the rest of the hotel. The food was good with quite a good variety each day condidering all the nationalities they catered for. The staff in the restuarant were always pleasant and helpful. Rico and his animation team kept us all entertained and special thanks must go to Mohammad (Ryan) in the Lotus Bar and Mohammad 007 and his candlelight dinners who looked after us so well.

My sister-in-law and I have recently spent 2 weeks in this hotel (15th September to the 29th September). We were both very stress and worn out, for different reasons, and I can honestly say we could not have chosen a better place to stay. The hotel was spotlessly clean, my sister in law is prone to upset stomachs and she flow through the holiday, we went armed with Immodium and didn't need them at all. The rooms were spotless and the beds (and pillows) were really comfortable. I have never met such obliging, helpful people from the Management to the Gardeners. They could not do enough for you, the Restaurant staff were fantastic from the manager, chefs and the waiting staff. There was one young man in particular (Mohammed) who when he saw us coming had a drink on the table for us (whether it was coffee in the morning or a glass of wine with dinner, he knew what we wanted and was wonderful. The food in the restaurant was excellent, especially considering the amount of nationalities they have to cater for. Then there was Mohammed in the Lotus Bar who apart from being really friendly, as soon as he saw us sit down, we had a drink brought to us which was replenished when we had nearly finished, pure luxury! Mohammed 007 operated a little a la carte poolside restaurant and again, he looked after us so well and the fool was wonderful and plenty of it. Even Camel in charge of sun beds/towels used call us his Queen's and there was 2 towels on our chosen sunbeds every day. The Animation team led by Rico were excellent, working very hard and always with a smile. Thank you to Rico and a special mention to Wadee who again spoilt us. Without any hesitation we shall be back there next year, it is even a hotel you would feel quite comfortable and safe on your own. CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE STAFF FOR A MEMORABLE AND LOVELY HOLIDAY

We have just returned home from a two week stay at this hotel and for the first time ever we all couldn't wait to get home. This was our fourth time in Sharm and therefore, the failings of this hotel were clearly apparent from day one!!
The food is awful and the cleanliness in the restaurant is appaling. It is no wonder that we all suffered fron severe stomach upsets whilst staying there. The hotel is understaffed which means that the area serving food is dirty and the tables are never cleaned. The restaurant is so hot that eating is unbearable. Due to the lack of staff also the absense of the manager, most of the time there is no cutlery available to eat with. The restaurant is also swarming with flies!!!
As a result of the poor hygiene in the restaurant and all of us being so ill, we made the decision to eat out for the next 12 nights. The Union Jack bar was a god send and we eat there pretty much every night. The food is excellent and and is very good value for money. We obviously did not budget for this additonal expense, but this was money well spent considering the fact that the food at the hotel was unpalatable and repetitive.
We spent everyday at the quiet pool in front of the main reception The pool bar would run out of beer by about 4 oclock everyday. We had to specifically ask for diet coke and this was rationed. It was nearly impossible to get a glass of white wine. We would have to go to the panorama bar in reception to get a glass in the day. Even then the staff would lie and say that they had no wine. Funnily enough, when you spoke to reception white wine would miraculously appear. Clearly, the staff are given a daily budget of alcohol and when this runs out then that is tough. The frustrating thing is that the russians drink the bar dry from 11 in the morning and it's the english who loose out that want a drink later in the afternoon when the sun goes down.
The staff at the hotel make the best of a bad job, Muhamed at the pool bar was hilarious!! The grounds are beautiful and you cannot fault the cleaners who work so hard to keep the rooms clean and tidy. It is just a shame that the rest of the hotel is so way below average. It was very clear that the hotel was and is severly understaffed with sometimes just one waiter in the restaurant clearing tables and one poor bar man who has to serve drinks and collect in the glasses at the same time.
All I can say is steer clear of the restaurant and visit the Union Jack bar which is only a 2 to 3 minutes walk as you turn left out of the hotel. There is also a lovely chineese very close by, You can also order McDonalds and KFC to your sun lounger. I have to say that I personally despise McDonalds in England but I was more than happy to eat the McDonalds than eat the awful and monitinous food served in the main restaurant.
At the end of the day you have to make your holiday what it is and we were fortunate enough to meet good friends who were in the same position as us. Thank you Garry, Jo and Nathan and also thank you jackie, dav and Taylor for making this holiday bearable

stayed here with my family beginning of august for two week's hotel lovely, but food not very good aqua park is great for all the family.i loved the lazy river, entertainment at night not that good.but their is lots to do outside the hotel, two pubs we found good was the union jack and st george,if you want to book day trips book them through the st george they are half the price,it's run by a guy called pete, from london,if i go back i would not go all inclusive because it's cheap to eat out and to be honest the drink is not very nice in the hotel

we booked this holiday through beat the brochure/como travel, from start to finish it has been awful.
I cannot list how many things went wrong, from hair in food, and blood on the room walls on arrival. the list is endless.
But my real gripe here is with the company, they are cheats and they do not support their customers when they need them. We arrived home Jan 2011, and only today 31st march 2011 have I had a response to my complaint having to pay for more money for a room we already paid for. Como street do not want to know and have almost called us liars!
dont do it. Its not worth it. pay the extra and go with a proper travel agents. We wish we did.

i must say im quite surprised at the negative reviews for the hotel, perhaps there has been an improvement of late, My family - my mother and father, sisters and brother in law - treated ourselves to a family holiday as we havnt been away together for a while.
My mum booked the holiday on 'on the beach .com' we were attracted by the pictures and the water park.
On arrival we had a bit of trouble as the hotel could not find our booking, after some persistance we were given 3 rooms as booked and were offered an upgrade which we turned down. We were taken to a food hall that did prove to be a little dissapointing as a first impression and we did start to wonder if we had booked the right hotel.
however from the morning of our first proper day it was a complete recovery, we spent the day in the pool and found that the staff were pleasant and welcoming. The animation team were brilliant, we first met kemo paulino and alex and then kiki came along later and all of them made everyday fun around the pool leading the activities. I found the pool aerobics a particular highlight, i never took part but had such a laugh watching my sisters do it! it lasts for between 30-60 mins and kemo and kiki ensure its full of laughs rather than a few star jumps in the pool. And then the volley ball brings all the blokes together in good spirit.
Anyone whos been to egypt will have a comment about the food, personally i found that although it can be repeatative i wouldnt fault the quality. It was enjoyable and there were different options throughout the day, myself my mum and sisters are all on the slimming world diet atm and still found that we were catered for without difficulty. My dad and mum had a few stomach bugs over the holiday, but the rest of us were fine, i think people are very quick to pass judgement on the food when you have to consider how being in a different climate can effect you. Also its important to drink only bottled water and not to take ANY ice in your drinks as the ice is made from local water.
I found that the rooms were well furnished and very clean. I shared a double room with my sister and we each had a queen sized bed, air con, a settee and small chair with a table, a balcony table and chairs and the bathroom was extremely satisfactory. towels are replaced when needed which i thought was a good idea to help be 'green' and save energy, you simply leave them in a certain place when you wanted them changed. We had a problem with the electric a few time where the main room would cut out, after the first few times some men were sent to have a proper look at it and it never happened again. My sister and her boyfriend also had trouble with their room key a couple of times.
i agree that the nightlife is none too special in the hotel, they do a show everynight which varied in quality some highlights are fire dancers and a snake tamer tho. There is also a pool party on the tuesday night which was very enjoyable, the dj was happy to let us contribute some music toward the playlist as the music can be a few months behind. The animation team sell tickets to clubs and will take you there and back in the evening, there is an all inclusive trip to the hardrock cafe which is around £20.
We went on three trips over the holiday, you will find that every excursion agency will book exactly the same trips so look for better deals because your gettin exactly what you might be paying extra for. We went with a company called S & S which has a shop near the ATM to the left of the hotel. As an example we paid £135 each to fly to luxor which includes a tour guide for the whole day, where the hotel wanted to charge us £175. There is definately money to be saved.
luxor is a brilliant packed out day, we got two tours of temples, the valley of the kings and lunch included. The tour guide also took us to the house of the gent who discovered king tut (cant remember his name) and a river boat down the nile but we did have to pay 100LE each extra for these. they are so worth it tho particularly the nile boat. We went quad biking which my family loved and scuba diving which i would reccomend, We paid £30 each for two 15 min dives in ras mohammed, generally done in pairs with a guide. This i think is great value compared to what you may pay in the uk. IT IS SO HOT IS LUXOR be prepared and take LOTS of water.
At the end of our holiday my little sister decided to stay and work at the hotel as she has just finished college and fancied an extended holiday. She is there until roughly december, so if your there have a word with aimee from the animation team and she can give you plenty of advice and in english!
i really enjoyed the Park Inn hotel, and i think its worth considering that when you are planning to go to Egypt there are generally things that come are attributed with the country. The food isnt goin to be like it is in england, it just isnt and anyone will tell you that, it will be hot and you will encounter some hassle and haggling in the shops. this is the culture. BUT please think about the wonders that the country has, the history of the country is beyond amazing and the egyptians are very proud of that. The people are immensely welcoming and the scenery can be breathtaking. i would reccomend the park inn and egypt to anyone who asks. Its so worth visiting if only once.
and for the record i did not get bitten by ONE SINGLE MOSQUITO the whole time. FACT

We went as a four of 2 couples aged 17/18 for 11 nights at the beginning of july and had an amazing time!! before we went we got worried reading all the bad reviews but after returning we couldn't believe they were written about the same hotel. there was lots of different food choices and staff ensured food was fresh by putting out new food regularly. the pools were lovely and the entertainment staff were friendly and fun (especially POLINA!!!!!!) Mosiquito spray was sprayed every evening and we got about 5 bites between 4 of us!!! The rooms were very clean, comfortable and the air conditioning was a life saver!!! The cleaners were friendly and polite and if you needed time they'd come back later to clean. On my birthday the staff sent me a happy birthday letter, made a cake and sang at dinner!! The only downside was the lack of nightlife but naama bay wasn't far and the entertainment team and holiday reps did lots of trips at night to take you to clubs etc. And you did have to pay for bottled water but if you ask for a free breakfast box you get a free bottle!!) We would definately go back and we all enjoyed it.

Just got back on 16th April 2012 after a 2 week holiday, (2 mums, 1 15 year old and 5 children all under 8).
Hotel was perfect for us, we had 2 interconnecting rooms as we requested before arrival, rooms were lovely and clean and Mohamed the cleaner made us a different towel display elephants and crocodiles etc... in our rooms every other day which the kids loved and we celebrated a birthday while their and we made a fantastic burthday cake out of towels, and we tipped him the first and last day.
When we arrived there seemed to be a toilet roll shortage whenever the sun had set, every toilet except in our rooms were removed, which I complained about on the second night, The reason was because people kept knicking them, however after I complained they were never removed :-)
Mohamed the pool attendant of the wave pool was so lovely, he saved our sun loungers every morning without me getting out of bed, he even took our lilo's and our own beach towels and toys every evening and replaced them with clean ones at 6am the following morning on any sun lounger we requested, well worth the tip on first and last day.
Take plenty of English pound coins for tips,, but also take plenty of ten pound and five pound notes as they like to exchange their coins for notes.
We were all inclusive but found out you had to pay for ice creams they were not inclusive, but be quick as they have a box of twenty per bar a day, only cost 6 egyptian pounds about 70p each.
Don't be ripped off with bottled water on your first night, we paid five English pound for two small bottles from the room attendant, only to find out outside their is a shop which sell them for 3 Egyptian pounds approximately 35p.
Slides were fantastic all open and life guards always on guard, remember kids names making them laugh etc... All the time. Wave pool was a graduated pool perfect for toddlers as waves not on all the time.
Food was fantastic compared to every other holiday I have had, and no one was ill, not much fruit but plenty of salads, meats, pasta chips etc... And on our birthday all the waiters sang birthday songs and presented us with a lovely birthday cake. Restaurant canteen itself was ok, but on out last 2 days it became so busy we had to que for tables at breakfast and dinner as lots of people arrived to celebrate Easter which was a bit annoying.
Beach over the road was not that great, rocky beach.
We went scoober diving which was ok for the money, but I would defiantly recommend swimming with the dolphins which cost about 60-80 pounds for just 15 minutes which our kids loved, but the picturesnwere eight pounds each and DVD was thirty five pound! They less for Egyptian pounds though.
Night entertainment was ok, but a bit repetitive but if you want to party you need to go out of the resort. Plenty of lovely shops right outside the hotel either side and a bank if you need extra cash for your holiday and a voda phone shop if you need ring home. Gifts are very cheap in all the shops, which we felt very safe walking around although they all requested you to come and look in their shops.
Lots of Mosquitos so beware
Weather was 30-35 degrees so take plenty of sun creams.
