Hotel Description:

Set in a rural area of Koukounaries, 700m from the main road accessed via a sloping track. The apartments, studios and maisonettes are located in seven blocks amongst spacious gardens. The Amalia Apartments appeal to those who enjoy peaceful surroundings but it is only 1.3km away from the famous Koukounaries beach and 800m away from the bars, restaurants and tavernas. Skiathos Town is a 40 minute bus ride away.

Advice: A green, picturesque village with great beach, good bars, supermarkets, tavernas and nature reserve

Activities: Mandraki Village and Panorama restaurants, walking in and around the village is good

We found Amalia to be delightful, friendly, convenient and extremely good value. We'd stayed in other apartments in Koukounaries and this was far more pleasant. The rooms were large and adequately furnished all with balconies.

Koukounaries is gem of Skiathos. Beaches very good, especially Little and Big Bananna, although not easy to reach. Food choice is very good with many good and cheap restuarants. Skiathos town lively but not to much. Good bars and a few bars/clubs.... read more

We've been to Amalia Studios twice, once in 2005 and once in 2006, we have several other regular holidays in Greece that we like to go on and I can safely say that this is another place that we'll keep going back to, when we get the chance!
