This hotel was truly magnificent, and a wonderful place to stay. We travelled by Eurostar from London St Pancras to Brussels Midi station, and it was only a short Metro trip to the hotel. The hotel is in a great location, situated literally a stone's throw from the European Parliament and a short Metro ride to the main part of the city. Brussels is a really compact city, so it was quick to walk into the city centre as well.
On arriving at the hotel, we were immediately impressed by the efficient and very helpful staff, and free Belgian chocolates! Our room was enormous, with a dressing area, as well as a lounge part, comfy bed, and lovely bathroom.
Breakfast was included in our room rate, so we really made the most of it each day. There was an incredible array of continental meats and cheeses, hot foods and cereals, breads and lots of fruit. At the weekend, it was definitely a lot busier so by the end of breakfast, there wasn't much left. However, the staff were happy to replenish anything we wanted.
We ate at the hotel restaurant on the night we arrived, and it was surprisingly good value for money considering it is a 4* hotel. It was €28 each for two courses, which we couldn't have bettered elsewhere. There are a couple of supermarkets in the surrounding area as well, which is helpful if you just want something light to eat.
I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel, and we are really looking forward to going back at some point.

Stayed here for an impromptu weekend away and we booked hotel through Eurostar website. Overall brilliant!
Staff were very friendly. Room was very comfortable with huge bed and loads of pillows.
Breakfast was excellent - enough to keep you going all day! I think it is quite expensive if it is not included in your room rate (ours was) but the choice is huge.
Location is good - it is about 20 mins walk to Grand Place and is in quiet area which is good for sleeping! Only 5 mins walk to nearest tube and10 euro cab ride to the Eurostar station and there’s some lovely local restaurants.
The only criticism would be the hotel bar. We had a drink before getting ready to go out for dinner and the bar man took quite a long while to take our order. Various other people left before they were served as they waited so long.

Great hotel, within easy reach of all the main city attractions, via the easy-to-use metro system.
The rooms are very nice, with one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in, including an abundance of quality pillows.
Although we did not have breakfast here, we did eat dinner in the restaurant which was fantastic. Not a great deal of menu choice but it was probably the best meal we had during our stay in Brussels.
I can also highly recommend the pool and Jacuzzi for a bit of relaxation after a busy day sightseeing.
And definitely travel by Eurostar if you can. So much quicker and easier than flying!

Stayed at the Renaissance, Brussels and was pleasantly surprised and thrilled by the friendliness, courtesy, and professionalism of all the staff.
Our room was great - and the bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I've slept in for years! We were even upgraded to 'club-level' which meant lots of little extras for free. Fabulous.
Had to take a cab into Brussels itself -less than 10 Euros - but there was a great wee square with inexpensive but cute cafes and bars 2 mins walk from the hotel. Brussels itself is laid-back, eclectic, and cosmopolitan - there's hundred to do and loads to see.
People-watching in one of the bar-cafes on the Grand Place is a great way to while away a few hours... or there's museums, shopping, theme parks etc., etc., etc. GREAT holiday.

Great Hotel great city.
Everything is close buy lovely people very relaxed a lots too see (Grand Square, Royal Palace & lots of museums which are mainly free) all in walking distance even the metro & bus system is easy to use.
Always visit by Eurostar it is so much quicker than flying. Top tip with your Eurostar ticket if traveling within 24hrs of arrival you can visit Bruges for the day for free as the ticket is valid anywhere for 24 hours after arrival bargain.

A video of our hotel room at the Renaissance Hotel in Brussels. This was a deluxe room, the most basic type at the hotel. Next time we're going to try and book a suite! Our room was perfect, so quiet and tranquil, with a lovely view of the park below.
The hotel has excellent gym facilities, an enormous swimming pool, and experienced beauty therapists. I had an hour long massage whilst we were there which was absolute bliss, and a definite recommendation. They do all sorts of other treatments as well.
I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel. Its in a brilliant location, in the European quarter of Brussels, and thus much more tranquil than staying in the city centre.
