If you belong to one of the above then this hotel is for you!
The Staff are ok! but you have to wait and queue to get into pool area, opens at 9.30 The Staff are on guard at the door. Evening meal time queuing out of the hotel! Check food! not cooked enough! 5 euros for a gin and tonic!no entertainment, Young idiots shouting and swearing around pool,regardless of children! The list is endless!!4 euros per day to hire fridge!!! Air con that noisy cannot sleep with it on!

The hotel was very clean,the cleaners come round every day to clean the room and put clean towels in the room. The food was very good always plenty to choose from. The staff were very friendly and helpful.it's a 5 minute walk to the beach and only a 10 minute walk from Magaluf
to sum up our holiday we had a lovely time and would definitely use this hotel again

great rooms very clean at the pool in the morning very spaceful great nightlife because you are a ten minute walk away from the nightlife in magaluf fantastic and a 15 minute walk to majorca that great to eat out so fantasic hoilday al in :)

Just returned from a week long stay with my husband and wanted to say that we thought this was a very good hotel for the price. We only booked it as a last minute break and were worried after reading some of the reviews,However, these were unfounded! Food was of an excellent standard with plenty of choice, rooms, yes were not large but perfectly adequate for 2 people (did look a bit of a squash with 3 beds in though) Hotel was spotless, if slightly dated,room cleaned everyday and all public areas cleaned every morning.
Pool and pool area were also cleaned every morning and door not opened to the pool until around 9.15am until this was completed so people did tend to 'hang around' the door waiting to 'bag a sunbed'! This was funny to see as there was plenty for everyone!!
Location in resort was spot on, a couple of minutes walk to shops/bars etc and the beach which was amazing!
We would return to this hotel, however, the entertainment did let it down slightly as although it states 'frequent entertainment',this was simply bingo and karioke on Tuesday's and Friday's BUT, Palma Nova entertainment is only 2 minutes walk away!!!

Just back from 1 week at Don Bigote and I would definately recommend it. Rooms were nicely decorated and spotlessly clean, there was a change of bedding and towels daily. Staff were friendly and helpful, food was very good with a great selection especially the desserts.
Pool was of good size with snackbar and plenty of sunbeds, tables and chairs. Brilliant location for the beach and 5 mins in a taxi to Magaluf.
Would recommend this hotel to both singles and families.

We, three 30-year old girls, have stayed in Don Bigote 12.08.2010-19.08.2010 with a half-board. I definetely recommend this hotel to all who are travelling on a tight budget. Being a two-star hotel it has exceeded all our expectations. The food was rather good, especially dinners; rooms were always clean; and the personnel were VERY helpful and nice 24-hours per day.
Ok, there were some drunk young people coming home late at night, screaming and banging on the doors. But I've heard it only once or twice. Moreover, I've seen an administrator throwing out a loud crowd in the middle of the night. So, I can't complain about too much noise.
The sea is five minutes away, so we've always gone there. However, the hotel's pool is rather nice as well. We did not have any problems getting a place around it.
Rooms were small, but we needed them only to sleep in, so no problem as well.

Stayed in this hotel, for 10 days, from 12/7/10 - 22/7/10. Have to admit it's the worst hotel, i have ever stayed in. Can't get anywhere near the pool, cos of other residents with lilo's! If you want to go to the pool, you need to get a sun lounger before 9am!!! Food was disgusting, and not cooked properly! And as for the other guests, well, there's ALWAYS people knocking on your door early hours of the morning, and ALWAYS people shouting up the corridors, doors banging/slamming! Cleaners shouting and talking loudly in their own language from about 8am!! Hotel looks like a right dive! (horrible place)! Have to pay 3 euro a day for the fridge! There's only basic essentials in your room, air conditioning barely even works! No hairdryer! No entertainment in the evening!

My friend and I stayed at this Hotel 2 weeks ago and loved every minute of it.
Hotel staff very friendly, rooms were cleaned to perfection and to a very high standard.
Breakfast was average.
Resort very nice.
Will be going back next June

i went 2 the don bigote last april with my mum im only 15 but its good to have a young persons point of view. it was really cheap for wat u got. i went half board and the food was ok it had always a meat dish and something for a veggie with plenty of salad stuff. the desserts were good i was expecting lots of cream stuff but it was proper dessert like bonoffee pie and lemon meringue pie it was yummy!!! they had a gd pool with side bar and pool table. they had entertainment twice while we were there it was bingo(which had a 200€ prize) and a karoake night. the room was very small it doesnt fit 3 people only 2 max but they are clean and had big balcony. the staff were friendly and helpful and if u asked 4 anything 2 be done it was done right a way. the hotel is just over the road from a shop and round the corner is the main street and is great for buying cheap stuff like souvineers. they have tons of tobacco shops starting with one just round the corner. the beach is nice and clean. there is a big spanish supermarcado if u walk a bit at the back of the hotel also a dvd rental shop. the hotel has 2 computers but is dear its like 2€ for 1o mins but if u go to internet cafe then cheaper.
