Having stayed in many 5 star resorts previously, I have no hesitation in stating that this hotel does not deserve such an accolade. On the surface it is a good 4 star resort, but on arrival the room was dirty and none of the standards I would normally expect from a 5 star hotel were maintained.
Wine selection was very limited (No Rose at all), no sun beds were outside the seafront rooms and if you get one yourself they take it away again every night! More worryingly, the Hotel does very little to try to control the people who use the naturalist areas such that naked people constantly walked past our room and use the bar outside of the room.
The managerial staff's responses to our concerns were perfunctory and never produced a fully satisfactory answer - despite their 'satisfaction guarantee’. After many discussions and 2 letters to the manager we still left disappointed.
On a positive note, the individual staff were excellent as was the food. If you are a golfer be aware that the transport to the golf course is limited to specific times and the cost of the apparently compulsory caddies can be a significant addition expense given the 'all inclusive' claim.
I would not go back.

For the last two years my husband and I have been to the same resort at the same time of year in September. Each time we have stayed on the clothing optional side. Yes you do have people walking past your rooms without clothing on! You are on the clothing optional side so what else do you expect to see. If you don't like it then ask to move don't just moan about it. The staff are great and cannot do enough for you if you are polite and ask them nicely.
The food is very good and they supply this to you 24 hrs of the day if you wish. The French restaurant is great but be warned, take a shawl ladies and the men will need to wear a jacket (which if you do not have one will be supplied at the door).
We never had a problem with finding sunbeds by the pool or the beach. Did not really try to put one just outside our door but if we had, what if the problem with having to get one each day. If that is the resorts policy of putting them back each evening.
Our rooms each time have been great, plenty of cold drinks in the fridge and coffee (in packets) supplied each day. You can have all your meals delivered to your room every day if you want, and have your cleaning (washing or drycleaning) done for free as well.
Entertainment was average but we made many friends and enjoyed our time with them. We are hoping to return again in the next year or so for a most enjoyable time.
