Built in 1909 and well maintained, it's central location offers easy access to a host of attractions. Location In Havana centre, 1 km from the nearest supermarket. This hotel may be unsuitable for customers with walking difficulties.

The location is excellent, in the centre of old Havana, with easy walks to the waterfront, the main shopping streets and major museums. Various tour operators had desks on the first floor to arrange any tours or help with questions.

I arrived about midnight at the Plaza Hotel to be told that despite having made and paid for a reservation in Toronto, there was no room for me as the hotel was overbooked. The stupendously unhelpful clerk advised me to walk 100 metres to another... read more
