These apartments are in a central but quiet location and only a couple of minutes walk away from the beach. We thought the rooms were above average for Greece and they were well maintained and clean. Also the plumbing here was not a problem as it so often in Greece.
Kambos is a quiet resort but does have a surprisingly large choice of tavernas and a couple of low key bars. It really is a place to come to chill out and is undoubtedly best suited to couples who prefer a peaceful resort. Children are likely to be bored here. Beware there is no public transport in Kambos and on some days it can be very windy.
Taxis are available and are reasonably cheap. It is a good area for walkers for those who feel so inclined. We will certainly return both to the Aspres Apartments and Kambos sometime in the future.

A small friendly and basic accommodation with no thrills but perfectly adequate.
Located back from the road so it was quiet and the apartments were reasonable clean and well equipped. The resort was exceptionally quiet and had not really got into full swing.
In hindsight the second week in May was too early in the season and probably the beginning of June would have been a better option.
Kambos is a laid back resort with some excellent tavernas but no public transport. Best suited to couples, rather than families or singles.

Well situated in the peaceful resort of Kambos.
The apartments are clean and are well equipped and furnished by Greek standards . There is a small swimming pool and nice surrounding scenery. The staff are friendly and we thought they were good value and can recommend. The resort of Kambos is ideal for a get away from it all holiday with a long and uncrowded sand and shingle beach.
There is an excellent selection of tavernas here and 3 we can recommend are Nostros, Nick the Greeks Fish Taverna and the Monday night buffet at Chester’s.

We loved Kambos - it is a resort that has a real Greek feel about it with lovely surrounding scenery. The pace of life is very slow and there are a good number of tavernas, jewellery shops, a few supermarkets and a couple of music bars here, and that is your lot folks.
There is no public transport so if you wish to get about car hire is a good idea. It is cheap. The beach is not crowded and except for the days when the wind is blowing in from the sea it is very pleasant and quiet.
The Aspres apartments were conviently located in proximity to the beach and taverna but we were not disturbed by noise. Our room was simple, clean and well equipped and the owners were friendly and helpful. We thought the holiday was excellent value for money and would not hesitate to recommend Kambos or the Aspres apartments to our friends and colleagues.
It really it a place for couples wanting peace and relaxation rather than for families who would probably find it difficult to keep children amused. There are a number of nice walks and it is well worth going to Ormos about 40 minute stroll for a beer and some freshly caught fish.
