Before me and my 2 friends went to Faliraki, we had read reviews about Sands Studios and were not looking forward to going, but from the minute we arrived we had a ball! i would take no notice to the bad reviews about this hotel because they are a load of rubbish! the hotel itself was brilliant, it was claen and tidy, the service was fab and the owners john, george, spike and leftis were amazing with us. the rooms where sound and the pool was great! we were 2 minutes from the beach and bars and were advised on where to go, how to get there and anything else we needed a hand with! thanks to everyone in Sands our holiday was brillaint!!!!!!

I just back from hols in faliraki and i stayed in sand studios. What can i say? I had fantastic time! Everything was just great! The pool, accommodation, people! I was only complaining a little about lack of greek tradition in faliraki so the owner (great guy) on my last day took me to rhodes town for greek night.OMG,was amazing! One of my best holidays!

Me and a few girlies, have just got back from here
and totally loved it and are planning our next trip out there!
Before going we did read reviews, and were worried about going out there!
Accommadation is basic but is pretty clean and kept tidy
The studio is owned by a close family and they were always keeping us entertained and SAFE!!
DANGEROUS DOG!, hardly, shes adorable and would not hurt a flee
If you stay here, you are close to shops, the bars/clubs etc
BEST SPOT!!!

I have just got back from staying at Sands Studios & i must admit that before flying i was quite worried by the reviews that i had read. But upon arrival i was ultimately relieved.
I will say that the rooms are basic, but that is what you're going to get for the price you pay. All that aside the beds were comfortable. Apart from an excitable shower, everything in the bathroom worked. The fridge worked. The aircon was a godsend. Our towels & linen got changed every other day. The bins got emptied most days & toilet roll replaced. The staff were so friendly & always willing to help you out if there was anything that needed doing.
Also the pool was so lovely that most people chose to spend their days there than at the beach. Music played all day & you could have food cooked & bought out to you.
The hotel itself couldn't have been situated in a more suitable place. It's a 5 minute walk to the bars, shops, clubs & not much longer to the beach - But it is still far enough out of the way for you to not be kept up at night. There's some lovely restaurants literally next door.
All in all i went out with poor expectations as a result of some of these reviews, but i could not have asked for a better holiday. I've had a wonderful time, met some great people - none of which got ill or injured or went without basic supplies & amenities. If you want 4* accomodation then pay for it, don't go for an 18-30's job for £300 - £350 because you are not going to get placed at The Ritz

i went to faliraki with a friend in july 2009 and we stayed at sands studios. i thought it was it worst appts i hav ever stayed in. i have been going on about 3 holidays a year now for the past 7 years and i have never stayed in such dirty appts in my entire life. i paid £380 for 1 weeks stay here which i thought was really expensive for 2* appts.. the rooms only got cleaned about twice a week, u got 1 towel!! and most of the time it was a head towel they gave u, there was rarely ever any hot water to take a shower, there was ants all over the bathroom floor!! one morning when i woke up i had about 5 bites on my right arm.. and the view from the balcony, haha well that is a joke!! we asked for poolview and not ground floor, so what did we end up gettin?? BOSNIA
me and my friend met 2 girls in the same appts and they said they never had a batroom window, it was just a whole in the wall with a birds nest near by
the only good thing was the location, u are beside everything including the beach

well what can i say the accomadation was basic 2 say the least dont stay in room number 6 the bathroom door dosent close the toilet lid dosnt stay up and there is no glass in the bathroom window. the veiw from our freinds balcony was a derilict bulding which gave u the impression u were in bosnia and our veiw wasnt much better.
our room was cleaned twice in our week stay which i thought was quiet reasonable but we meet another 2 girls who had money missin from their room.
the saftey deposit boxes are not in the rooms so u are proberlly safer with ur stuff locked in ur suitcase
we booked club 18-30's had a great time but this wasnt through the rep who didnt even bother herself to learn our names.
i would recomend going to faliraki just dont stay at sands studios
we had a great time but this was purley through the people we meet whilst there.
STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Well what can i say!!!! The hotel was filthy, there was a birds nest in the corridor where there was poo everywhere. A couple of the girls got there money stolen out there room. The club rep was miserable and never ever made an effort with any of the girls. I thought club 18-30 holidays were meant 2 b wild but iv gotta say not here. The other reps seemed ok but i couldnt believe how awful this 1 was. The view from the terrace was like bosnia it was awful. I would come back 2 rhodes but not 2 that hotel

Heya there guys, im just back from hols in faliraki and we stayed in sand studios.
ok we booked with TC club 18-30 and when we got to the apartements, first impression was that the pool really was lovely, its clean, and lovely surrounding.Bar was nice, clean tidy.
we then we checked in and off to our room. we were a little surprised, it was dark and the room was basic, shower not great and our room didnt have aircon.....but we aquired a fan from the rep and we were sorted, i wouldnt be put off , we got used to it and its only a place to rest your head.
rooms dont get cleaned often but just ask the staff and they are more than willing to hand out sheets, towels, toilet roll.
Location: the location is perfect, so so close. about half an hour in the bus from airport, 5 min walk to club street and bar street (although its far enough away that its nice and quiet)and 5 min walk from the beach, right next door to chemist.15 min in taxi from water park(5E)
Staff: its a family run business and they are lovely, we have daddy bear(john) big bro(spike) lil bro (lefti) and their friends, they are so so nice, and really caring, i went with my friend and we also met up with 3 other groups of 2 girls, and the staff looked after us well , so no bringing guys back girls lol.
ps dot let the reps con you, you can pay for events at the door!!!
Faliraki june 09 chris stef, steph arlene, hannah lauren, hannah jenna!!!!!
and the boys lol. xxxxxx

**PLEASE READ** I'm 24 and went for 2...

Sep 2008, Miss K Pike

**PLEASE READ** I'm 24 and went for 2 weeks with my boyfriend. The 3/10 is for the Sands studios, they were filthy, I saw reviews and just thought maybe they were exagerated, but trust me you don't want to stay there, we met a few other people and they all said their rooms were the same.
When we first got there the cleaner asked our room number and said she had just cleaned, we went into our room and there was a big puddle of water in middle of room, pubes all over and the pots and pans looked like they'd never been cleaned.
we didnt have our bedding changed for the whole 2 weeks and the towels were changed on the 3rd day, in exchange for what looked like, dirty tea towels with holes in them, our bin got so full we took it down ourselves, when we asked the cleaner where the main bin was she had a go at us, "I am the cleaner, I change the bins" she said, so after that we left them and ended up with 3 full bags around the bin and 12 empty water bottles, she never came back after the 3rd day so we dumped the rubbish bags in the hall so she would have to take them.
The old guy who is the owner was miserable and hated english people, I used to smile at him and he would just turn away so never bothered after that, on our last night when we were sat outside waiting for coach, he was saying to the other people sat with us, who were english, he doesnt like english and that he had asked olympic not to send any more, he said he would " F**k us out to the street", which it would probably be nicer out there than in those rooms, His sons were quite nice though, but had no say in how he was to guests. They also have a big pitbull incase you dont like dogs.
Faliraki itself was ok, some good resturaunts and people dont drag you in to eat, loads of super markets(morrisons, asda, safeway and sainsburys) and locals are friendly, on Bar steet is where its more lively and you get dragged in for free shots, theres club street which has a few nightclubs and a lot of english type pubs, I myself wouldnt go back, It's too small and not enough to do, I went to Malia last year and that was much better and cheaper. Dont know If youve read other review about the balck women trying to shake your hand, but don't go near them, move your hand out of way and ingore them, I saw so many people shake their hand get this band attached to their wrist and you cant take it off and they expect 1 euro for it and dont tke no for an answer, I even saw one lad burn it off with his lighter, so beware.

Jul 2008, Miss Gr Richards

when i read these comments just after booking our holiday i was slightly worried as they all seemed quite bad however when we arrived at the appartments it wasnt as bad as i had imagined. we had a friendly welcome and the room seemed clean. it was very basic, if you wanted to cook a meal at the appartment then you couldnt however that was not a problem for me and my partner as we prefer eating out. the cleaner came 3 or 4 times in the week that we stayed and provided clean towels and emptied bins, however the towels were not big enough to dry yourself after a shower so i would recomment taking a few.
the brothers always offerd to put on recent films for us and the pool was a lovely place to stay during the day, kept clean.
the resort overall was fantastic. lively at night and plenty of places to eat. many supermarkets and shops.
i would reccomend staying here if your looking for a cheap basic appartment. i would definatley go to faliraki again !!

Faliraki was an ideal holiday for me,...
10 / 10
Jul 2008, Miss K Macrae

Faliraki was an ideal holiday for me, i went when i was 18 with family and friends, location was without a doubt the best there is, it is literally a 2 minute walk around the corner to bar street and club street.
Bed club was the best club, a massive area which hoasted the biggest foam party iv been too, drinks were pricey but no1 had much time to drink with all the foam. Bed rock was also awesome in a flinstones theme which offered karaoke- a great laugh.
The family at the sands studios were great, Spike and george were great letting people staying use the internet access, control the music by the pool and also playing the latest films at your request at any time due to the 24HOUR BAR!
The touts outside the clubs and bars do get frustrating but if you go on an organised club crawl you are offered a free shot on every club u enter and are to go down on your knees and have ouzo poured in your mouth before you leave.
The people you meet in the sands studio are all top, usually people of your age who are there for the same reason as you, to chill and tan during the day and to go out and explore what the clubs have to offer at night.
I didnt bother with the beach as where the apartments are the sun loungers there were in a sun trap and i was massivley tanned,
Im sitting in my office right now looking at flights out for this august, im definatley looking for an even better time this year as i know my way around
Definatley recommend this holiday for ages 18-30 for those who love to experience clubbing and tanning.
ALSO if you have a fear of cockroaches, they do appear but spike and george are fearless and will kill them for you.
10/10
