Lania - Me and my partner have just come back from the Moscha, this is the 2nd time in a row we have been. We stopped for two weeks again and it was even better then last year. The owners of the Moscha are Crysoula and Stamos who are amazing there english is fantastic and they are so helpful. Chrysoula is the cook and barmaid there her cooking is lovely you must try. Also their two daughters help out at the hotel they are coola and masoula they are also very friendly and their english is also excellent. At night you will greeted by Steve he is austrlian he is a top guy and he will tell you anything you need to know about faliracki. The beach is a 2minute walk from the Moscha you can pay for sun loungers at the beach which is 4euros pp per day. Also next to moscha is the newasgents run by Michalis he is the nicest guy you could meet and his stuff is very cheap and he always makes you a free ice coffee when you go. I would recommend Moscha to any one it is clean basic appliances in there air co is 45euros for one week or 90 euros for 2wks, and safety deposit box is 20 euros for 2 wks . There is also a large swimming pool with loads of loungers round the side and an outdoor shower if needed and a pool table. The staff are amazing very helpful and very lovely people we are going back again next year. Value for Money. Also if you want to go out for food on the night go to manolis best food ever its a 5 minute walk from Moscha.

Very clean apartments, plenty of space and nice balcony area. Pool clean and not too busy. 30seconds to walk to nearest beach, grey sand but clean and plenty of sun loungers/umbrellas. 20 - 30mins stroll to town, loads of lovely friendly tavernas to eat at so dont have to do clubbing scene if dont want to - hotel in nice quiet area. The food in apartment bar is also very good - had lunch there a few times.

Our 4th stay at Moscha & a lovely warm welcome awaited us. 2 apartments booked, both well equipped very clean with very comfortable beds. Great food from the snack bar & the loveliest barman in Faliraki Steve.Clean swimmingpool in a suntrap with plenty of loungers.A nice quiet location close a small quiet beach & only a 10 min walk through the harbour to the beautiful 5km long golden sandy main beach.

I have visited the Moscha at least 10 times over the years, and have NEVER had a complaint about ANYTHING. It's clean, comfortable, so friendly, is in an ideal location away from the noise that can be Faliraki (especially at night).
Stamos and his staff must be the most friendly people in Greece!...NOTHING is too much trouble for them.
Each year when we go back we meet up with other holidaymakers who go EVERY year...this speaks volumes, as 'returning' customers are obviously happy customers.
I would say the place is suitable for old and young, married, single, gay, lesbian - in fact anyone

Best two weeks

Jul 2010, Superman_Kizzle

there were four of us that went all aged 20 years old. As we arrived at Moscha, we were greeted by someone called Steve, who works 2300hrs till 07oohrs each day, and i have to say.... he was faantastic!
The apartments were cleaned by two maids, maria and joanna, every other day. Both very friendly and i was in the end nicknamed by them as superman.
The food, swimming pool, hygene, friendlyness, accomidation is a massive 10/10!
The beach is LITERALLY 20 seconds walk and the town/nightlife is 15 minutes walk, either across the beach or down the road.
The four of us boys had no problems, no doubts and no negative things to say about Moscha or Faliraki it self!
Thank you Moscha for the Best two weekks of our lifes!
Kai (kizzle/superman), Dallen, Swej and Jimmy

What can I say...best holiday ever. My boyfriend and I are in our mid twenties and like to stay in places that are slightly out of the hussle and bussle in the day but close enough to get to the main area at night and Moscha fit the bill with no exceptions.
The apartments are basic but very clean and comfortable. As this is a small place you get to know lots of people around the pool and there is always someone to chat to.
Falaraki itself was great. Amazing places to eat (which was one of my worries as I could not find any reviews on the food in Falaraki before I went). You must try Manolis best food of the holiday, although the Hawaiin BBQ was also lovely and the owner George is crazy!
Bar street and club street were good, but pretty much same old same old. The best place we found for a drink was the 24hr bar on the beach called Aquarius. They play salsa music and have dancing etc and the Mojitos are excellent.
Rhodes is a completely beautiful island, and Rhodes town and Lindos are spectacular and well worth a visit in both the day and night. Valley of the butterflies was also a good trip, and the water park was one of the best we have ever been to.
All in all I would recommend Rhodes, Falaraki and the Moscha apartments to anybody, in fact I have already persuaded my parents to go next year, which shows there really is something for everyone.

My friend and I,are both 18 year old girls and liked the sound of Moscha, when we arrived at 4am we where greeted by 8 boys around the same age who helped with our luggage and welcomed us to the hotel, perfect way to start the holiday. We where then introduced to Steve, the night bar man who looked after us both all week he was amazing!
The pool was lovely, nice and cool which you needed in the heat.
All the young people staying at the hotel were all really nice and friendly, i think with it being a little out of the way than the main strip it detracts hooligans! we got taxis to bar street most nights until we ran out of money, then we would walk, it wasnt a long walk at all and was quite pleasant.
Will definatley be going back to Faliraki and staying at Moscha, what a fantastic holiday!

Where to start?! So different than...

Where to start?! So different than in the brochure. We went for one week and it was the worst week ever, we couldn't wait to come home!
The pool is so small compared to how it looks in the brochure and also dirty, there was a HUGE cockroach/bug/insect sitting at the bottom of the pool for 2 days!
The food is basic, no complaints really, didn't get ill from it which is always a bonus! The bottled water is so expensive at the apartments, best to walk 2 mins to the local shop and buy a big bottle for 60 cents.
Quite far from the nightlife aswell, so you end up getting taxis because it is a bit too dangerous to walk at night and even though the hotel call the taxis they are often unreliable and you can feel a bit unsafe in them.
Not really enough sunbeds as most of them end up in the shade covered by the trees etc so the best ones were always taken! Room was ok, clean but basic, no complaints about the room.
However the whole faliraki experience was dire....a word of warning to groups of friends looking for a clubbing holiday...FALIRAKI IS PAST ITS TIME...it has had its day unfortunately and all the clubs play the same music over and over again, so repetitive. The clubs/bars are relatively small, wouldn't recommend it to young people at all.

May 2008, Mr A Britton

We stayed here for 2 weeks and i would suggest if there are groups of young people wanting to stay here then dont. Since we were here it was mainly the older generation from 30 upwards. However the pool area is very nice the studios are clean and its not abad place to stay apart from the 20 minute walk to bar/club street seems ages so just get a taxi.

Stayed at the Moscha twice in 2007...
8 / 10
Feb 2008, Mr M Riding

Stayed at the Moscha twice in 2007 and returning again in 2008. Stumbled onto it by accident a few years ago and have only made the mistake of staying somewhere else, once.
The Moscha is basic, however , not as basic as most places in Greece.
The rooms are spotless as is the whole apartment complex.
Stamos, Christoula and their staff are friendly, helpful and nothing is ever too much trouble. Steve the night barman is a star.
Food is fresh and tasty. Not too expensive and the drinks are large and brand names.
Beach is 1 minute away, loads of restaurants and supermarkets around and only 15 mins down the beach to the town and the nightlife.
Best thing about the Moscha. The welcome you get on your second visit. They greet you like long lost relatives.
Would recommend the Moscha to everyone. However, don't book for June. (I want a room available for me)
