This quaint enchanting town of colour washed houses clambering up the hillside above the bay is a place of charm and beauty, ideal for a truly Greek holiday of relaxation and tranquility. The Captain Yiannis is made up of attractive little villas all well located for those who want to enjoy Vathy town whilst living in comfort right on the waterfront. The standard of the pink and lilac villas is excellent and they all enjoy sea views. Approximately a five minute walk will bring you to a couple of waterside tavernas and a further five minutes will take you to the only sandy beach in Ithaca.

My husband and I had a very good 2 weeks in June ,nice clean apartment ,sheets, towels changed regular, maid service daily and endless hot water! No complaints at all, the view from our terrace was fantastic.

The apartment was very dirty, no cleaning by maid service just moving the dirty around, bad mould growing fridge, again never cleaned. Third bed in room 3/4 sized old camp bed not even suitable for my dog.
