Stayed here end of may into june had great time cannot understand why people are moaning.?? Was here with husband an daughter for 2 weeks an we enjoyed it, but then you have to enjoy company of other nationalalities,but some brits cannot!! Food was good an caterd for all.... more

Hi, Have just returned from spending two weeks at the above hotel. The main part of the hotel was okay, it did seem four star but the rooms themselves although spacious were not four star. My bathroom had mould on the ceiling.......lots of it and an invasion of ants, otherwise it was just very basic. Air con worked out really expensive at 6 euros a day ( we had two rooms) You had to pay for the fridge and safety box in your rooms. It says internet access, but you had to pay for that and many other games. The pool was very nice,... more

Just got back from 7 nights stay at this hotel and I have to say it was a disaster. We ware 14 people that stayed during this week including a 6 month old baby, and this is not a hotel for a baby. We had some medicine whit us, and on the hotels website it says that they have a refrigerator, but it did not get cold even though we paid 10 euro for it. When we asked the staff the only answer we get was " well it is more than 35 degrees outside, what do you expect" So my son couldn’t take his medicine. And the air con. Working... more

I had a really great time at Mediterraneo. I stayed there for 6 nights and all i can say is that i made new friends (yes already).Staff is great - they all speak english they are all polite they help you with info etc. The restaurant is a plus especially if you eat outside by the pool.Food is of good quality and quite international. Having just returned from a 7 day break I can say that we did enjoy our stay at the mediterraneo hotel.....however as with most greek hotels a 4 star hotel is not to the standard you might expect in the UK! Our room was rather basic and in need of refurbishment and there seems to be a woodlice and ant problem! However the food is generally good, the pool area very nice but rather too small for the amount of people the hotel caters for. Above all though the staff are lovely.....they get it just right! I had a lovely time at Mediterraneo for 7 days. Actually this had been my second time there and i am looking forward to the third. I believe the main advantage of the hotel is the staff. Very friendly and always helpful. They all speak english and most of them german. Food is close to excellent and this is important for a 4 star accomodation with all inclusive. Two of us spent a week in this hotel from 9-16th May 2007. It was a last minute deal and our expectations were not too high even though other reviews had given it very high marks. The hotel was clean, the service excellent and the all inclusive meals and drinks very good value. The drinks included tea, coffee, soft drinks, beer, red or white wine, ouzo, raki and brandy from 11.00 am to 11.00 pm. Me and my girlfriend went to stay at this hotel for 5 days in April and found it to be a very clean hotel. The rooms are quite big and they have a nice view of the sea from the balcony. Stayed at the hotel at mid April, right at the beginning of the Crete tourist season, and was satisfied, but not awed by the hotel. The good things: Meals are superb, at most. The variety is good, lots of salads (we love salads) and a lot of drinks. The greeks are very friendly and speak english well. We stayed at Hotel Mediterraneo this summer in july 2006. Even though it is an all-inclusive hotel I guess we expected more. This was our first time ever traveling and booking all-inclusive. just got back from 11nights stay at this hotel and i have to say all in all it was a very good holiday. The hotel is very clean and the pool is very nice with plenty of sunbeds even when the hotel is busy.
