i stayed here with my mum on a last minute holiday in july 2009. for peak season it seemed to be deserted the whole time we were there. we booked to stay at another hotel were transferred to this as our original hotel was full! we found the decor dark and dated but clean.... more

This hotel was absolutley awful. The food was disgusting they had chips twice within the week i stayed there. I had a burger at snack time which they fried and it was still red and raw inside. There was no entertainment aprt from spanish singers and african dancers. They played music throughout the day which was good. The sauna didint work, eveything else was ok. We booked up for a week AI 2 adults and 2 children and after reading the reviews thought OMG . Well I have to say that we were pleasently suprised when we arrived to find that the hotel was clean and the staff very friendly (even though they spoke limited English). We went on holiday with no intention of spending all our time in the hotel so the limited entertainment was OK and kept the kids happy. The food was average, but there was a fair selection, had theme nights such as Steak night, Seafood night ect which suited me but not the missus.... more

we stayed here in october,went all inclusive,but ended up having most of our meals out elsewhere. they didn't cater very well for english people. wouldn't go here ever again.

All Inclusive in this hotel means 2nd. class citizen. As you walk into the hotel you are greeted with a huge sign over the entrance to a very nice bar that says NOT INCLUSIVE. In this bar you pay and your drinks are served in glasses. The all inclusive drinks are served in little plastic beakers at all times in another bar. I asked for a slice of lemon for a VAT & was told 'no not all inclusive'. However, i paid 5 euros in the paying bar & had to request a slice. We read reviews before our trip so didnt expect much, and it was as bad as some of the reviews say im afraid. Reception area clean, staff unhelpful and didnt seem to have much time for british tourists. stood at reception alone and the manager seemed busy so i waited, then a spanish couple appeared and were instantly served. just back from a week stay allinclusive, as allways i read reports before i book and i read alot about this hotel most reports were bad as i found out, 2 problems i had, 1 the aircondition in room was rubbish it was 25degrees in the room at night ,other problem bar staff shocking, i ask for hamburger and chips at 9-50pm the 2 girl bar staff said no and started dancing, as for the male barstaff i dont want to think about them,as for meals just the normal buffet,will i go back NEVERRRRRRRRRRRRR more

Booked via xcapewithus.com and ryanair, had transfer via taxi at airport only cost 27Euros, 25 Euros on the way back. Found out that you can also get 'Barcelona' Bus from airport into Salou resort, only costs about 6Euros per person, wasn't worth us doing this as there are 4 of us - 2 adults & 2 children. We stayed All Inclusive. Hotel nice and clean, fast check-in, lovely reception staff very helpful. Complete waist of time, first and last all inclusive. And as for Spain or should I say Spanish people GGrrrrrrr!!!!!. We had to eat out the second week, I’d had enough of the cheap slop they kept serving up, and everything was cheap and nasty.
