we went to monika apartments september last year and cant wait to go bk in september this year realy looking forward to seeing the polite and friendly staff again. the pool was very clean and always a space to relax all round fantastic holiday

Got a cheap deal to these apartments in July, my 15yr old daughter and myself went and had a great time.No rushing for sunbeds in the morning, nice and peaceful,just what we both wanted. Rooms were basic but clean, slight problem with the shower and flooding in the bathroom but overall had a great time and can`t wait to go back.

stayed in the Monika Apartments for just a week with a group of 13 The location is absolutely brilliant, you can walk out of the hotel and be on the beach in less than a minute, plus, it's an ideal location, close enough to the nightlife without it being noisy. Furthermore, there are two supermarkets minutes from the hotel, and plenty of bars and restaurants around The service we received was excellent, the bar staff were very very friendly, to the point where they were asking us for games of pool and watching the world cup with us! There didnt seem to be a problem too big for them and were brilliant now my only criticism would be the rooms. The beds were, quite frankly, uncomfortable, though after coming back at 4 in the morning i must say it wasnt a huge concern, though waking up to a baking room isnt comfortable (air con is an optional extra, a MUST!!!) If you're considering the Monika apartments, then definitely give them a try. The atmosphere of the place and the friendly staff definitely added something to our overall holiday
A small hotel in a good position from solace
Monika is a small hotel in a good position. Our room on the first floor had a beautiful view as it overlooked a river and also had a sea view which made it lovely to sit out on our balcony. The weather was extremely hot and although our room had air conditioning there was a charge for it of 25 euros a week. Also you could hire a fridge for the same amount. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis. Breakfast was quite nice (two pieces of toast and jam, croissant , cake, orange juice and coffee or tea.) The rooms were kept clean, with plenty of toilet paper provided, but were let down by infrequent towel changes and bed linen not changed until we asked after 8 days and then sheets etc not up to standard. The swimming pool and pool area is very nice with plenty of chairs and umbrellas. Television in room (music channel, shopping channel and old movies in English) No telephone in room or facilities for tea or coffee . Several eating places close by and about a fifteen minute walk to main eating and shopping area. Beach close to hotel.
