I don't quite know where to start. I am not one of those people that moan i think the same about people that right these bad reviews but........ The rooms were nice when you first walk in until you have a complete look around, there is only 2 working hobs [more like camping] the oven scewed shut, when we asked why and explained that we had been shopping to the supermarket has this was self catering we got shrugged shoulders. The staff were rude apart from one lady with red hair. The room spelt fusty and damp, the cleaning was NOT very good, the bathroom was like a wet room witch sloped into the main room and my 1 year old son slipped over and bruised all of his back, we got told to put towels down even though we only had fresh towels oncce a week. The pool area was nice but the pool sloped down not to far deep in so there wasn't much shallow plus it was full of bugs. There was loads of wasps so we only had 1 hour around our pool in 2 weeks, there are also 3 dogs that do nothing but hump and bark and try and get food there is also loads of cats! The walk into Sidari was nice but it could do with being lighter at night. yes there is a free bus but the tmes are 11am and bring back at 4pm then only bring back at 9pm witch is not late enough. At night if you stayed to have a drink the bar it is all greek music apart from the odd black eyed peas song. We would not recommend this to anyone not even an enemy!

We booked a last minute holiday to Rebecca's village my daughter her friend and myself.
we was greeted by the worlds most ruddiest woman a larger lady we got no hello or welcome the first words she spoke was PASSPORTS please. she was rude and very aggressive with her tone of voice and manor, she pointed us in the direction of a mini van out side with the words he will show you to your room.
the room looked very shabby the bathroom smelt of damp and had loads of cobwebs everywhere
the little hob looked like it had seen better days and was dirty.
are apartment was set away from everyone else's the view from it was fantastic NOT outside there was a pile off old rotting sun bed covers and rusting old cars.
The pool looked very nice but i never once saw them take out the dead flies wasps or test the water. the food prices where out of this world 2 euros for a small cup off coffee,
4.50 for a tuna sandwich.
I slept in the lounge on a sofa bed that i kept rolling of due to the mattress been so dam lumpy and sunk in at one side.
when the bedding was changed the sheets looked like had been around for 10 years
The rest of the staff seemed friendly enough
there where dogs roaming around and pooing everywhere not good if you have young children running around in bare feet.
would i recommend Rebbecca's village no never
And the beach is not a 10 min walk to the beach its about 20 and i walk fast lol lol
The gym they have is well laughable

Writing this one week into a two week holiday.
Where to begin?
Good points - rooms clean, complex neat and tidy, friendly courteous staff. Pool area excellent.
Mediocre points - penny pinching on sunbed mats, Sunbeds free, mats 1 euro a day!
Restaraunt is all the things a captive market can be, food fills a hole if you cannot be bothered to walk into town (20 min walk, probably no bad thing considering how good the food can be in town!)Beer prices, once again captive market 3 euros compared to 2 euros in town.
Self catering? not really, apparently ovens have decomissioned for safety reasons-just 2 rings.
Bad points? none really, we like the place.
All in all 7 out of 10 BUT!!!!! we got a very good late deal with olympic (480 pounds for two for two weeks) i suspect if we had paid much more the score would be lower (6 out 10!)
Places to recommend in sidari.
FREE WIRELESS ACCESS at Jeni's Cafe/Bar (100 yds passed the taxi rank) also does very nice cakes.
Places to eat - Romana (behind the church)and See Breeze, both good food and service.

Rebecca's village, where do i start, here goes, looked it up on the internet before confirming booking and it looked really good, was my first holiday with my two children since my divorce so wanted somewhere really nice, got there early on Sat morn 15th Aug, wasnt shown to the room just told which way to go, opened the door and was met by what can only be described as what i would imagin a prison cell in Bangkok looks like, the place was filthy, run down and very depressing, (the thousands of ants in the cupboards really seemed to like it though) went straight to reception to tell them what a state the room was in, which was greeted with shrugged shoulders and a reluctance to send people in to clean the room, after two visits to reception i finally got them to send the cleaners in. after a quick ten minute whizz round they left, i was still not happy with the cleaning and went back to reception to ask if we could be moved, what a waste of time that was, once again the lady on reception, (who i think was one of the owners) said she had nothing else turned her back to me and then walked away, i ended up going to the supermarket to buy cleaning stuff and doing it myself,
this complex is meant to be a 3.5 star I would be very suprised if it was actually a 1 star,
self catering was almost impossible, it consisted of a two ring dirty electric hob chucked on top of a broken down diry old oven and hob which had been screwed shut, god only knows what was still inside it, living and growing, oh yeah and a miniture kettle, in the end thought for health reasons it would be better for all of us not to attempt to eat and prepare food in the apartment,
beds in the bedrooms were ok, but the one in the lounge (if thats what it actually was) was a waste of space, i slept on the sofa, it was a dammed sight more comfortable,
the bathroom was again dirty and dank, the shower head was leaking and broken, although they did manage to fix this three days before we left, the toilet had a permanent flush and ran from the first day, and i assume still is now,
the moquito netting on the outside of the patio doors was ripped, hence lots of bites for my daughter every night, they seemed to like her a lot,
i decided to try and make the best of a bad job and get on with it,
Tried really hard to make sure me and the kids had a good time,
the pool area was nice and kept reasonably clean, but the downside to not using the so called self catering equiptment meant we had to eat at the very overpriced poolside bar most days, i think that the screwed up ovens, (apparently according to the other guests they were all like it) were part of a plan to get as many people as possible to eat at the village bar and restraunt, and not in their rooms,
thank god for the british spirit and sense of humour, as lots of other guests were having the same problems it seemed to bring us all together, and we had some good days messing around in the pool area and in Sidari town as well,
as for Rebecca's village and the very rude and more often than not ignorant owners, well at least i am safe in the knowledge that i have a choice and i dont ever have to go back there, and i would also urge other people to think hard before booking a holiday to this place,

The Rebecca apartments were very clean, tidy and comfortable although the beds were slightly lumpy. The staff were faultless and the pool was excellent about the best in Sidari. The food at the hotel was very good, home cooked and tasted excellent. The apartments are set in a peaceful, calm, tranquil enviroment, however they are a 20 minute treck to the town on foot. If you take a taxi into the town it is 5 euros a time so be prepared to take extra euros for this purpose. Overall the Rebecca apartments i think are one of the best in Sidari, my children aged 14 and 12 really enjoyed themselves and i would definately be taking another trip their in the future. My partner and i also took a look at the Elite apartments which have just been renovated and they were emaculate, very tastefully decorated and nice views of the pool.
Any one should be aware or shall i say 'BEWARE' of booking a car with the company called Island travel situated across from the taxi rank in Sidari. We hired a car for three days which they were given plenty of notice. When we turned up to collect the car we were informed that 'THERE WAS NO CAR'. He told us that they had had recent problems getting cars as they are not stockists and they are pre order from the town Roda next to Sidari. This ruined our holiday as my partner had to go hunting around Sidari trying to get a car within a couple of days which is sometimes impossible. He did however manage to obtain a car but not really the type of vehicle we would have chosen. Island travel did refund our money on the spot and appologised for the inconvenience.

Two adults, 14 year old boy and a 17 year old girl. We all loved this place! Nice to be away from it all in spacious grounds. Pools were wonderful, clean and well maintained. Staff friendly. Plenty of poolside loungers and good snackbar. Main bar and restaurant is quiet. Tennis court and table tennis table used a lot by us! View from apartment was great. 20 min walk from town but this made for a good run, pleasant cycle or an excellent evening walk via the beach. Taxi is only E5. Supermarket is a bit far but that's where the bike comes in! Hire from Mountain Mania for pennies... Otherwise it makes for a long trek carrying bottles of water!
Bound to be a few negatives. Typical of Greek accomodation the cooking facilities were very limited. We got by with the kettle and two rings. Cleaning ladies left towels and changed bins but never swept once! Thats, I suppose, what kids are for.
Overall the place was fairly peaceful. Pool was either buzzing with kids having a great time or it was fairly empty but for a few grateful parents! No rowdy drunken groups, no noise until after 9 in the morning! We planned afew trips but only went on two as we were happy where we were! Yammas!

Our stay in Sidari had highs and lows. Most of the low points had to do with our appartment though.
The toilet broke 3 times during our one week stay! It was constantly running water which was very noisy, so it disrupted our sleep.
The shower was also very tempermental!! It had a life of it's own and would only work when it wanted to.
A really big issue was the maids! They did not give us any clean towels so we had to resort to using our own beach towels to wash with.
They never mopped the floor either, only made the beds. Sometimes they wouldn't even do that! Because they never washed the floor, we found ourselves sticking to it and we had constantly dirty feet as a result. Ewww.
Being 3 young girls on our first holiday without parents, even we were appalled at the standards!!
Warning!! INSECTS. These things were on steroids!!!! We were infested by kamikaze creepy-crawlies! These things had no fear! The old saying 'watch out the bed bugs DO bite!'
And you had to man-handle doors in order to get them to shut and lock.
Recommendations in town:
For good prices on cocktails and good music, Palazzo is the place to be. The staff also look after you. :)
Sea Breeze is perfect for meals, brilliant quality of food and great portions for a decent price! =)
ICE is essential for clubbers, never went into it but everyone always tries to get you to go.
Warning
BOLERO a karaoke bar. Never go there if you have young children or if you are 3 young girls, lets just say....too many free cocktails and shots make a recipe for disaster.

it was a week holiday to sidari, corfu.rebecca's village is very clean, staffs are lovely and helpful.this is a 3 1/2 star hotel-apartment w/c i can honestly say it's worth the money.the only thing i could not bear is to walk 20 minutes to sidari center for the supermarket.you can have a taxi for 5 euros-one way!.i just hope the next time we go back, there'll be a mini-supermarket nearby(about 5 minutes away).
it was nice waking up in the morning,go to your veranda and you can see the sea(very blue),relaxing views of greenery and fresh air.this is the best accomodation for family who wants to relax and chill out.an unforgettable one for the three of us.i can't falt it,especially the receptionist Jade-who was very helpful, olympics were also helpful...

My wife and i have just returned from two week stay at the Rebecca's Village Resort, we both found it a very nice place top stay, the reception staff where very helpfull and the fact that it is set in the country about 40min walk from Sidari town was good for us as it was nice and quiet away from the busy town. We had a car hire from U-Value in the town for 12 days which ment we could travel the whole island (which we did) and found some wonderful places, the Corfu people where also very friendly. I can't wait to go back.

Returned from holiday on 5th August and must say that all the family ( wife and three teenage kids) have had a fantastic time at Rebecca's villiage. Accomodation was first rate, apartments were very spacious and kept very clean by the hardworking cleaners.
Hotel was good. Reception staff very friendly and helpful (particularly Pavlo who always worked the night shift). Amenities in the hotel were good. The pool area is fabulous, better than any other hotel I have been to, pool bar food was cheap and good. The hotel restaurant food was okay but can be bettered by walking into Sidari.
The walk to Sidari is not too far, about 1km (dont walk on the main road it is much better to go over the crossroads and along the sea front)
Spent many nights eating at the Kavviados restaurant, great food, great atmosphere and good prices. Costas one of the waiters is really a great guy to get to know.
Rebecca's is the place to go to chill out, relax and enjoy. Great holiday !!!!

just got back from are stay at rebecca's village
it was a really good holiday i'm 15 and when i first got there i wastrying not to enjoy myself but it was impossible not to i met some really lovly people. from essex nd some kids from wales.Aswell as getting to know ivo the boy who works in the pool bar he was a right laugh.
the young girl in reception.Jade was really lovely too she did anything she could to help you.
the pool was brill nd so was the grounds of the place.
the appartments where so clean nd outstanding in the geek standards you couldn't fault the cleanness of it.
spiros the man who runs the resturant was fine, got on ok with him, he does get a bit stressed when he's busy though.
there's quite a few wasps around and mosquitoes in the evenings. We went near the end of august and the evenings were starting to get a bit chilly and drawing in.
the area is quiet and even down sidari we found it quiet and fine for young children to be around. You defantlly need a car other wise you won't be able to go find nicer beaches as sidari beach isnt really a wow factor.
the rep held a meeting our first day there but she wasn't very helpful in one problem we had we found in our case we was better off sorting it with the people on site.
but over all it was a good holiday and for any one with children of my age they really wouldn't be dissapointed everone is really friendly and helpful
so overall 9/10

The hotel was really terrible!!!. I'll never do it again. The external view of the hotel look nice but all the others are bad. The furnitures in the room were very old, the toilet cap was broken even when i told them they didn 't do anything. The doors and most of the other metal objects were full of rusty. The room was not very clean, there were spiders and bugs in the room. The sheet were very short. The TV was out of order. We book a room with all inclusive. The breakfast was very poor and the lunch most of the time was stale. In my opinion very bad value for money.
