Teraz Hotel Apartments

I've just got back from spending an absolutely delightful week here - the staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough to please you! The food was just perfect! The appartments were cleaned every day. I cannot fault my time here! I shall certainly be visiting again during the summer holidays for another week of sheer relaxation!

cant believe some of the reviews on here , been to terezas a few times now and going back again this year , the family are friendly nothing to much trouble . apartments are basic but its the same in corfu at other apartments at least they are clean , the maids work very hard , the pool area is clean and the road is not a main road like someone said previosly hardly any traffic of course you have coaches stopping off how else would you get there???lol . loads of sunbeds . highly recommended for familys just depends what you are looking for ? a quiet base but near enough to get to the bars and clubs and a taxi is only 5 euros if u have difficulty walking . its not 5 star but a very good standard 3 star .

stayed for 1 week in sept,terazas is a lovely small hotel,basic but very clean,in a good position,near supermarkets,restaurants and a short walk into town..highly recomend the breakfasts which we had each morning..spiros,angelo and teraza are fantastic hosts,made us feel really welcome even had us behind his bar for a photo call,also like to thank stephen our rep,who in our opinion was the best rep really attentive and helpful..there was 6 in our party,4,20/25yr old and 2,50yr olds and all were made to feel really welcome.....

These apartments are of typcial 3* standard you will get anyway in Greece. They are basic but clean and facilities are good.
The staff were friendly and welcoming at all times. We did eat food here during the day but we ate out every evening. Food is of good standard, nothing grand just the usual snacks available. The food was always of good quality.
The walk into the main area of Sidari is about 10 minutes, it can be a little dark on the journey home but there is not much traffic around so nothing to worry about.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend a visit

Terezas Appartments are very basic.
The rooms (our party of 4 were given a room to sleep 6) are very spacious, but very basically furnished.
They proudly display their "COSMOS self catering award 2000" in the bar area, and it seems that they have traded off that reputation since.
The bed linen is cetainly doesn't appear to have been replaced since, it is very old, and in poor condition, as is the plumbing, at least in number 23.
Turning on the shower will fill the bathroom with the very unpleasant smell of drains, so much so that my daughter and I used the communal swimming pool showers for the full two weeks we were there.
The appartments are about a 15 minute walk from town, however, this doesn't mean that you can expect peace and quiet, as Tereza and Spiros, like to play music very loudly until the early hours.
Also, the main road runs right past the appartments, and you can hear arrivals, departures and general traffic noise. Add to this the appartment over the road with their kareoke, bingo nights etc, you may as well be in the centre of town.
Terezas has a nice pool, smallish, with a tiny toddler section, and a pool bar/cafe area. Food on offer is the basic cheese toastie and jacket potato type of fayre, just don't ask for anything with brown bread, because although it's an option on the menu, I asked on three occassions, and they never had any (apparently no one has ever asked them for it). The fact that I, a paying guest, asked 3 times for it didn't seem to register.
The chocolate milkshakes for 3 euros a shot are good, if they remember to put the ice cream in, otherwise they're warm and not very nice.
Spiros was kind enough to charge up my daughters ipod, but when I asked the same favour of Tereza the following week, I was met with a shrug, and an "I don't understand" attitude.
To sum up, if you're happy with basic, and don't mind noisy bars till 2am, are happy with a smelly shower, and Terezas uncaring and sometimes rude manner(the first words she spoke to me after I said "you have a nice pool here" were "yes, you need to stay by it, you are too white" before waltzing off), you will be fine.
If, on the other hand, you want a bit more than rock bottom basics, I would suggest spending a little more and going elsewhere.

We have stayed at Therezas twice and have booked up for 2010 too. This is our 6th time in Sidari and therezas has always been spot on. If you have ever stayed in Corfu, you will know that all self catering facilities are basic, thats Greece for you. We have lunch at the hotel and eat out on an evening, then return to Therezas for a night cap. Everyone has always been very helpful and dont find much fault at all which is why we come back. Im sure if youre ok with them, then theyre ok with you

this was our 3rd holiday to corfu and decided to try sidari as we had a 16year old and wanted something a little lively. sidari and the hotel were fantastic-one of the cleanest hotels i have ever been to and spiro, angelo and tereza were all very welcoming. is a 10-15 minute walk to the beach and centre of town and was more than enough to do for our 16 and 12 year old to be kept occupied so i would definately go there again. HOWEVER, everytime we have booked through Olympic we have had nothing but problems with our transfer-i'm sure they think they can offer a low standard of service because the transfer is free. my husband and son had to stand on the coach until the first drop off at the port which i find completely unacceptable and i'm sure is a breach of health and safety??!! we reported this to the olympic rep as we landed at around 3 am so were too tired to do anything about it til the next day and she obviously did not complete and hand in the report as our formal complaint in writing was dismissed as having no record of it at all so we were very unhappy AGAIN with the standard Olympic provideed. its a shame they have this hotel on an exclusive basis as it has given us 2nd thoughts about booking again next year. cannot fault the hotel, residents in the town or corfu as a whole but think olympic are the worst tour operator ever!! leaving on a good note-if your looking for a great meal try sailors, we ate there most nites and blake made us very welcome!!

Have to make clear that the staff/owners over charge and cheat you out of your money, especially children who are constantly short changed when buying ice lollies, etc. The fact is they change the prices as they want and for any new people i would advise to ask for a reciept. The owners need to realise that people will come back if they have a good experience and this isnt going to happen at present as its all about money! Self Catering facilities awful so be prepared and take a lot of money! The attitude of staff around the pool is terrible and i felt uncomfortable when wanting to eat a few sweets from my own bag!! A request for some support(towels in this case that had not been left) was left with a shrug of the shoulders and they did not care. The younger owners are not what you would call helpful or pleasant in any way and Spiros is ok until you try to eat elsehwere. On the last week we stayed away as much as we could. That said Olly was great and he could do better than this place. Go eat at Simposio instead, great value, very welcome and food is terrific. In fact would advise to stay elswhere as you run the risk of a spoilt holiday if you stay here, unless you have lots of money that is!! Pool looks great until yout try to see yourself underwater? Something wrong here i think and probably why so many had ear infections. Not the best experience of Corfu.

I have just returned from a fortnight at the Tereza Apartments and can safely say I will not be returning, afterreading the reviews about the family like environment and how people go back year after year I have to ask did they go to these apartments.When booking I was told we would have an inland view I thought oh well I can live with that .But nothing prepared me for the jungle view we had from our terrace we could not sit out because of the long grass weeds and whatever growing this encouraged flies and the like. It was a disgrace I know some would say well it was a basic hotel but for over 2 grand I would expect air con but 128 euros for the 2 weeks, spiros short changed the children as well as his daughter, they kept amending the prices .5 euros for the internet for an hour a bit much, the pool well my daughters hair went green 8 people had ear infections. We had to leave our room at 12 midday 35 euros spiros wanted for 6 hours yet we checked into our room at 7am on the sat am and had to be out 12 midday the friday.People who we spoke to who had been for 14 years running were disappointed claimed they would not be returning.DO NOT BOOK YOUR TRIPS WITH THE OLYMPIC REP GO TO PHILLIP AT VLASSEROS TRAVEL cheap and air conditoned comfy coaches highly reccomend and do do go to corfu town in the evening beautiful.I will revisit Sidari if your willing to explore plenty to do. We did have a good holiday but spent much of the time away from the apartments like many there who didnt want to spend their money at the hotel no loyalty....hope this has helped,the apartments are spotless the cleaners are thorough, although you have to purchase your own toilet rolls and for it being self catering dont expect be able to cook much all you have is 2 electric rings, large saucpan and frying pan that is it.
try the 3 little pigs for a good meal and an excellent greek night.Sunbeds on the beach are value for money 2 plus parasol 7.50 euros.Also a must is to hire a boat through the yellow boat company on the beach start from 12 euros an hour to all day brilliant.

just a quick note to say how amazing it is at tereza's
a nice little hotel owned and run by the most amazing greek family EVER !!

the apartments are wonderfully spacious and clean, the maids were in every single day to change towels and bedding.
this is our 2nd time running at the same time. only got back this morning and miss it already.
the food is amazing from the hotel greek and english dishes.
with the coolest worker there olly :) what a guy !
only bout 10 minutes from everything you need ... bit longer when ya coming home drunk though :)
but i love it there .. so were definately booking again for next year !!
hope to see you all soon (definately recommend it)
