We have just arrived back from a 2 week stay at the Marina Studios, we had a very enjoyable stay and this was made even more special by the unique partnership of Katerina and her family. They make you feel very welcome and part of their extended family. We met some really great people and had some great fun at the Greek nite - although I don't think our dancing improved at all during the 2 weeks stay. The accommodation although basic is what we expected when we booked a holiday in Greece, if you want 5* quality then I would suggest going to a 5* resort. We would definately go back there for a relaxing week or 2. Katerina and Mikey were always happy, welcoming and would deal with any requests / issues as necessary.
Our apartment was cleaned 5 days a week.
All in all a great holiday experience, in a resort that lives up to the reviews that we had previously read.

Advice: Don't eat in NIKOS bar as this was the worst meal we had and the most expensive
Activities: Zaks place is outstanding, Zak himself even gave us a lift back because of rain.

Appartments very basic no kettle,had to boil saucepan for drinks, sheets on bed had holes in them and were so thin one tug and they would fall apart. Towel in a similar state also stains on them,as sheets, mismatch of cups plate cutlery etc. Air con was available at 45pounds a week we didnt take this up as it was over wardrobe and would have been no benifit to us also was very noisy. On arrival owner Katrina very friendly going out of her way to say hello everyday very jolly, untill we said we would not be going to her greek nite then all change for thr rest of our 2 week holiday she would barely nod at us also we wernt the only couple to notice this and made to feel uncoftable greek nite for £20 each we would have salad starter followed by pork chop&chips plus fruit for aftersand then greek dancing not what we wanted. The pool area was clean and water in pool tested, but our rooms were hit and miss whether they were cleaned which i have to say was twice toilet and rubbish not emptied daily we did that. bed was made 3 times in 2 weeks clean sheets once we had to put them on bed ourselfs all in all cleaning left a lot to be desired. As for Katrina as long as you spent money in her very over priced bar then you,ve got a friend for holiday.
Advice: Not the prettiest of places ok for cheap deal to relax on beach maybe
Activities: Enjoyed buddies for several nites until we saw mice running all over floor

Have been to Greece many times and various locations. First visit to Corfu. The apartments are well above average, ok rooms, very clean, nice pool - extremely clean. Couldn't fault Katerina (owner), very friendly and attentive. All rooms have baconies with decent views. Main shops/resteraunts only 2 mins walk, beach 5-10 mins walk.
Resort was OK, nothing too bad but no wow factor. Plenty of eating places, fairly downmarket - cheap but ok, good value for families. Beach is ok, lots of Germans and Russians, fairly clean, not much sand, nice views though. Previous trip was to Skiathos whre beaches much better - if this had been first visit to greece probaly would have been more impressed.
One downer - bus service to Corfu town doesnt run in evenings so unless you hire a car you're pretty much stuck.
To sum up - accomodation great, resort average but still worth the money.

Arrived at Marina Studios late afternoon ,room was above average with a balcony overlooking the pool .
the studios are at an ideal location close to restaurants, bars, supermarkets and gift shops the beach was about a 10 minute walk away.
Katrina and her family made us feel welcome but if your looking for a quiet holiday here you could be dissapointed ,would say that the studios are more suited to people with children or even couples who like to join in in activities,but maybe thats just us being fussy.If your on a budget but looking for good greek food we reccomend the Seabreeze on the beach,The Islands on the high street and for a quiet drink in the evening or even in the afternoon go to Buddies Bar!last thing katrina makes the best english breakfast weve had in a long time!

Well What can I say apart from thank you to Katarina and all her family for making this a very memorable week away.
We arrived at 5.30ish on a Tuesday morning and Katarina was there waiting for us to show us to our room.....nice touch!! Rooms are basic but clean and the maid does a good job.
The resort is very varied spread out on either side of the road for a couple of miles surprisingly quiet for August but we did not mind. Nice beach but a little too popular !!
We can honestly say that everyone in the resort is friendly and the service is excellent wherever you go EXCEPT STAVROS SPORT BAR.... PLASTIC FOOD, DISINTERESTED STAFF EAT HERE AT YOUR PERIL!!!
We ate at ZAK's Place beautiful authentic home cooked food he even gave me a tour of the Kitchen and fridges....!!! Fantastic place cannot recommend this enough also the rose Garden is also very vey nice. I went to the Pharmacy for some painkillers they cost 66cents I only had a 20euro note, they told me to take the tablets and bring the money back whenever......needless to say I dropped it back in soon after a perfect example of the resort friendliness. you will not be disappointed with this resort we will definitly book Marina again...thanks again everyone x

We have visited this area on numerous occasions and have booked to stay at these studios in August 2009.I have tried to find them on the map but all i get is a map of the Messonghi Beach Hotel!! Can anyone please tell me what supermarket,restaurant or bar they are near please??
Advice: Moraitika is a brilliant place to stay.There is something for everyone.
Activities: Village Taverna in the Old Village(At the top of the Hill) book as it gets packed inJuly/August

Another year, Sep 2007 and now 2008 cannot believe the hospitality of Katarina and family!!!! What can I say only Excellent, Even the waiter's/ bar staff in the area knew us from last year. A really amazing place and tbh would not want to go anywhere else!!!! Katarina treats you like family, nothing is too much trouble and also you have a right good laff there!!! met a load of nice people and hoping to meet up there next year. Well I have my hols planned for 2009 and I will def be going back there. The toga night what Katarina laid on was great we had such a good laugh. Olympic rep was brilliant Sarah she was very helpful and friendly. Had a really good boat trip to paxos and anti paxos and the Greek night was great too!!!! Deb& Rob

Just returned from 2 weeks here at Marina. We really enjoyed our stay and will definately return, Katerina, Mikey and family made our stay very pleasent and entertaining. The apartments are basic but kept very clean and tidy, the pool area is hourly maintained by Katerina's father Petros and is very relaxing. We have stayed in many Greek towns, Moraitiki rates very highly.

We have just returned from holiday at Marina Studios , Christina and her family make everyone feel welcome and at home , The studios are fairly basic with a fridge and two hot plates so enough to manage breakfast but with so many tavernas and snack places around who would want to eat in , There is a small bar and tables where you can have breakfast or snacks if you want The studios are clean although a little bit tired could have a little bit of a refurbishment so if you want a bit more luxury then probably it would be too basic . The pool was kept lovely and clean and nothing was too much trouble even when a light bulb went it was changed straight away,The water is heated by solar so when we arrived they had had a big storm so water was not too hot and if it was later in the evening did tend to run out , but if you went to see Christina she sorted it out, She would also find out any information you wanted , She has several uncles with tavernas and when we went to one i lost my mobile phone , so the next day she phoned them and her aunt brought it down to us. all in all a lovely relaxing holiday

We had a superb two week holiday at this resort and like the previous reviewer nothing is too much trouble for Caterina and her family. No matter what time you come back at night there is always Chris or Caterina to serve you a nightcap and chat and laugh until you are ready to return to your apartment if you want to at all! Caterina speaks excellent English so she really goes out of her way to ensure you have the most relaxing holiday. I have two teenagers 15 and 16 yrs and they were always occupied with something going on. There is a nightclub five mins walk away which does not emit noise to the village as it is all soundproofed, it is attractive to the young and the young at heart ! Along the main strip there are plenty of friendly tavernas with good food (we didn't have a bad meal at any) and cosy bars to choose from serving wonderful cocktails, coffee and fresh orange juice. Our fave restaurant 'The Rose Garden' was really good value for money and yet the most pleasant surroundings, service and delicious food I have eaten in Corfu. The small supermarkets sell just about everything you can think of and are all reasonably priced. Corfu is a truly beautiful island and if you can hire a car there are many gorgeous sandy beaches with crystal blue clear water just 15-20 mins away and the scenery you will encounter on your way is amazing where you will constantly trip over unspolit and traditional greek village life. Marina Studios are close to all amenities and yet tucked just down a quiet side road you are away from it all. The rooms are clean and tidy with a fridge and two hot plates and basic utensils. The maid will come in just to empty your bins and make your bed up if you leave the request on your door. There is air con if you require. The only thing I would suggest is that you take some plug in mosquito repellents for night time as Corfu is known for the Mossys's!. Caterina and family organised an exciting greek night which was brilliant with a few suprises that I won't spoil for you. There is also another larger pool and bar just 2 mins walk which you are welcome to use. Moraitika has something for all . Thanks Caterina and all .

I have never felt more welcome on any holiday. Caterina and her family were so happy to look after us nothing was a problem. The location was excellent the pool was wonderful and the rooms were very clean. 10/10 for everything (especialy the milkshakes) If you stop here you will not be disapointed.

What a fantastic apartment and friendly family run business. We arrived late in the morning and was greeted by Chris, we sat in the bar for a few hours with him whilst he gave us the information about Moratika town and our first taste of Ouzo in Corfu!!!
Chris, Katarina, Marina and Pedro are all great, they all went out of their way to make sure we had a fantastic time. Especially Chris drinking till early hours in the hotel bar. Rooms were very nice everything about the place was lovely, nice and clean. I will definitely be returning next year and I would not want to stay anywhere else!!!
The area around Marina Studios was excellent all the staff in the tavernas, restaurants and shops go out of their way to make sure you're okay, they actually sit with you after your meal chatting about life and everything!
The beach was 5mins walk from the apartment, what a lovely walk it was and also the beach is very nice and clean. There are lots of supermarkets around so if you want to make your own food you have the choice but eating out and drinking is very cheap and lovely to. Mythos, their local beer, went down well and also Buddies bar sold some really nice home made wine! That was my favourite local apart from the bar in the apartment. All in all I give this 10 out of 10.

I stayed for 2 weeks at Marina's Studios in Moraitika. Lovely clean, quite apartment although very hot in side but considering there was a heat wave at the time of my stay, it was to be expected!
Marina and her family were absolutely great and really do cater for any requirement you may have! My Dad is from a small village near Moraitika and as I travel to Corfu a few times each year, I can safely say that now I have stayed at Marina studios, I will definitely be staying there each year from now on!
Moriatika is a relaxed, quite and chilled out resort with great restaurants and fast food places, shops and lots of Greek character! Nightlife is not what I would call wild by any means although bars and the 1 major clubs Moraitika has tend to get busy from 1am onwards and mainly you will find the local Greeks here.
Anyone looking for a bit more or people who say 'didn’t like Moraitika...' then all I can say is you definitely need to rent a car or bike to see more of Coru. There are some beautiful beaches such as Halikouna, Isos, and Marathias & Skidi to name but a few and they are within 30 min drives so no excuses to make a little more of your holiday!! Just ask Marina's daughter, Katarina for directions!!

What a brilliant holiday. Katarina, Marina, Pedro and Chris looked after us wonderfully. The pool and area is so clean along with the rooms. We have stayed self catering in a lot of Greek islands and all of them are very good, all be it basic. Marina studios are basic, but it is roomy, especially clean and Marina goes that one step further to look after you.
Katarina has a wonderful friendly welcome as soon as she meets you and that continues throughout your holiday. The Family have become good friends to us and we are very much looking forward to going back this year.
Being set back from the main road it is also lovely and quiet. But it is only a couple of minutes stroll up to the main road where there are bars, taverna's and restaurants to cater to everybody’s needs.
Katarina has a wonderful friendly welcome as soon as she meets you and that continues throughout your holiday. The Family have become good friends to us and we are very much looking forward to going back this year.
