The Lofos is spotlessly clean and the staff are friendly, the rooms are well equipped and the views from most of the rooms are stunning and overlook Kassiopi.
The only drawback is that the walk up to the Hotel is the price you pay for the views but it is still only a very short walk from the centre of Kassiopi, and please try the home made Taramasalata and Greek yoghurt from Nikos Supermarket by Michaelangelos Apartments also a short walk from the apartment.
Try Kostos Bar for the Greek dancing and the excursions from Cosmos by the Church cheaper than Olympic, local bus service is worth a try.

It was our first visit to Corfu and we will definitely be returning. We were a family of four including two teenage children, one of 16 and one of 13. Our accommodation was good although if you were intending to cook anything yourself the facilities were a little limited. We ate out for our entire stay, as prices are really reasonable and the variety is good. We didn't eat at the same place twice.
The Lofos has a small bar offering breakfasts and snacks and the view from the terrace is fantastic. All facilities were spotlessly clean and the hospitality offered at the hotel was first class - nothing is too much trouble for the Owner and staff. The hotel is up a particularly steep incline, but pace yourself and you will be ok! There are safety deposit boxes for hire and also air con if you want it. We didn't bother as there was a lovely cool breeze in the evening.
We thought our 16 year old may have been bored as during the day the resort appears fairly quiet but she made friends with two Irish girls the same age as her and they hit the various bars/karaoke bars during the evening and had a great time. I think the two girls made her holiday!
The beaches are a good 20 - 25 minute walk but definitely worth it. The waters are clear - great for snorkeling. You can hire small boats from 70 Euros per day and explore the various coves around the coast. We enjoyed an evening trip to Corfu town by boat at a cost of around 15 Euros each.
The Olympic rep Sarah was lovely- very helpful - even though her accent was a little difficult to understand - sorry Sarah - but you are doing a great job.
All in all we enjoyed our stay immensely and 7 days was definitely too short. We'll be returning without doubt and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Lofos.

Feb 2006, Mr P Jeffries

Kassiopi is a wonderful fishing town on the coast of Corfu, the town is littered with excellent Tavernas and Restaurants and the odd lace shop to suit the older generations.
Kassiopi differs from many other towns on the island as it caters for all, there are late night bars for the lively and quaint side streets for the adventurous. As with any Greek holiday you can expect nothing but friendly service from Hotel and restaurant staff.
The hotel we stayed in was located at the top of a hill overlooking the town, it is suited to families and couples mainly I would say and the outdoor pool is clean, and a good place to meet others. I visited the hotel previously when I was not a resident, back then you could use the facilities provided you buy drinks and/or lunch there, I am not sure if this is still the case?
Overall I would recommend this holiday to anyone who likes variety, likes eating out, having the odd drink and relaxing.

Booked this holiday last minute and absolutely loved every minute of it.
The Lofus Apartments were set slightly in the hills and had everything you could wish for. Our room was superb it overlooked the bay of Kassiopi, it was idyllic. Everybody very friendly, rooms cleaned 6 times per week, and the cleaners even did our washing up one day! The resort itself was wonderful, we used to walk to the harbour and then on to the choice of three beaches every day. Snorkelling was perfect and the fish would swim in between your legs in the sea, it was so clear.
Sea was a bit on the chilly side as hadn’t had time to heat up yet but as the weather was so hot it was very refreshing! We expected it to be very busy (being half term week) but we were pleasantly surprised, had some fantastic meals and if you like fish there is loads to choose from (the prawns are massive!)
You must try Janis Restaurant, which is set on the beach, superb meals. It was one of the best holidays I have had and we will definitely be returning.
