Just come back from SeaScape apartments,Ipsos. Most probably the worst accomodation we have ever stayed in.When we arrived I had to wash the cutlery and the crockery before we dare have a drink. The U bend on the sink leaked in the kitchen.
All the crockery was chipped.
The towels had holes in.
No wardrobe space.
Broken beds.
Kitchen table absolutely thick in grime.
Broken toilet seat.
Bins in kitchen and Bathroom emptied only twice during the week.
Beds nots changed at all during the week.
Olympic say that the rooms are cleaned four times weekly.NOT SO.When the cleaner came in (just twice),she mopped the floor and emptied the bins and brought fresh holey towels.Did'nt clean the toilet or the sink in the bathroom.
Needless to say we wont be spending our hard earned cash here again.

Just got back from a week holiday at these apartments. They were really good! Only 2 bad points about these apartments which you can live with to be honest, the toilet seat wasn't attached to our toilet which got annoying, but at the end of the day it's only a toilet seat! Also the hotel has no place to sit indoors when you are waiting to go home (after you have returned your room key), this was slightly annoying but we got over it and I'd go back there despite that.
Apart from those two things, I'd say the apartments are perfect. Right on the beach, great pool and sunbathing area, the food was good, apartments were clean and just right. In a great location as well next to all the bars, shops and restaurants. People who work at the apartments are really nice too.
I'd definitely stay at these apartments again if I ever go back to Ipsos, they seemed to have the best reviews in the area and after going I can see why.

Myself and 3 friends spent a week at the seascape appartments, Ipos Corfu , the appartments are ideally situated and we were lucky enough to occupy two with beautiful sea views . Although the appartments are basic they are clean and well thought out with a selection of crockery, cutlery , a kettle etc should you wish to eat in the appartment.
Mamas kitchen serves a selection of freshly prepared meals throughout the day which are excellent value for money , in fact we did not make a single drink or meal in our appartment, why bother when you can have it prepared for you by Michael !!
Michael and George are the perfects hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them , the appartments have a wonderful relaxing feel about them and I have to say the cocktails are well worth a try !
we really enjoyed our stay there and I would not hesitate to return there in the future .

Went to Seascape in June 2006 and really really enjoyed it, apartments basic but clean. They are all really friendly and we are going again in 2 weeks, can't wait!!!!!
Apartments in a lovely location, apart from the 2 apartments on the front which face the road! Swimming pool was always clean and everything else, come to that matter.
So close to the beach, if you were any closer you be in the sea!!
the only negative is that there is not alot of hanging space for your clothes!!!
I would advise anyone to book this as it is soooo cheap aswell!!!

Just got back from Ipsos we stayed at Seascape apartments. My wife and I could not believe how lucky we were.
George and Mike could not do enough for us. Were made welcome on arrival. The apartments were clean and tidy there was a shortage of clothing space, but we managed with no problem.
The pool bar served a very good selection of food reasonably priced. If you wanted a late meal Dinos across the road is an excellent restaurant and bar and is one you should visit.
We had an excellent fortnight and we will be going back to Seascape apartments again.

My girl friend and I stayed there for two weeks in may and had a fantastic time the apartments were perfect.
George and Michael were brilliant and gave perfect service the place was clean and it did not bother us buying bog roll as there is a local shop 5ft away. Seascape apartments has a little dog named Bianca and she’s beautiful my girlfriend and I fell in love with her and wanted to take her home with us, she belongs to Michael and he adores her.
The place feels homely and there’s a good vibe about it, we spoke to a lot of people who were staying there and they all seemed to be having a great time like us, apart from one couple, don’t know what there problem was.
Place was perfect and we would recommend it because were going back there in 2007 big up to Seascape apartments.

The rooms are very basic, and dirty. I don't believe the cleaner knows what a brush is! The bed sheets were dirty as were the towels! We were staying in one of the front apartments which was situated on quite a busy road with cars bibbing hooters every 5 minutes. There wasn't anywhere to hang wet towels/ swimwear etc although the apartments round the front had balconies so this won't be a problem if you are lucky enough to get a pool side view. Someone mentioned in their review that there was ample cutlery I would hardly call 2 forks, knife, desert spoon and bottle opener ample, we didn't even get a teaspoon.
George & co seemed friendly enough although we didn't spend much time around the pool. As with most apartments etc you have to be out of the room by 12 noon on the day you are departing. You may be able to have the room for longer at an extra cost. We were picked up by the coach at 2 am and could have our room until midnight for an extra 20 Euros. However guests also staying at the apartments who were on the same coach as us with the same pickup got to keep their room until 2 am???
Ipos was generally quite a quiet resort but had a lot of nice restaurants and bars.
Overall I would not recommend the Sescape.

We have just recently returned from the Seascape Apartments. What can I say, apart from it was the best holiday we have ever had. George, Mike and mama Kiki were such wonderful, friendly and helpful people you could have wished to meet. Rachael our rep was fantastic, she was such good fun.
The apartments are situated in an ideal location, how many people can look out to the pool and the beach (Corfu Town on a clear day) from your balcony, but yet you are less than 5mins walk from all the tavernas, restaurants, shops and supermarkets. Dirty Nellie`s is a good pub to visit, with a lot of entertainment.
The Hairy Lemon was also a good place, good meals as well. There was only a slight downside to the holiday - and that was on the 1st week of our holiday, Ipsos was full of Italians, driving crazy on their hired scooters. Still that wouldn’t put me off going back.
But I would only go back if I were staying in the Seascape Apartments again. You get to make so many new friends; it’s really like having your own private little villa.
Excellent Holiday!!

What can I say, I was also out when the Pearce family were there, if I remember rightly they had mentioned they were used to staying in hotels.
A self catering holiday in the UK usually means you take everything you need, at Seascape and all other Self Catering accommodation, you get your first loo roll, then you buy your own! Seascape are the best in Ipsos that Olympic have to offer and somewhat more luxurious than others. The furnishing of the apartments were carefully thought out and George and Rhonda have done what they can on the money they are paid, to make it a home from home.
the Rep this year is a hoot. Will be back there next month. Can't wait.

I've just read the review from Mrs. Pearce about these apartments. I'm sorry, but I strongly disagree. Myself and my family have been holidaying in Ipsos for many years and as a result of this have stayed in many apartments, (some of which were horrendous and shall remain nameless), the Seascape however are in a brilliant location and very clean so much so, we are already booked for 2007 and George and his family who run the Seascape are wonderful.
I have a feeling that Mrs. Pearce and family where there the same week as myself and my family as the toilet roll incident resulted in the Olympic rep (who is brilliant and such a laugh) being told that she was going to be complained about upon their return to the UK. The best bit was though when they thought that if they complained that they may get an extra weeks holiday! and they rated the holiday 4/10! That being said, the Seascape obviously are not as bad as Mrs. Pearce is making out otherwise herself and her family wouldn't have been wanting an extra week there now would they!
I appreciate everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but it seems pretty obvious to me that Mrs. Pearce and her family have never holidayed on the Greek Islands before otherwise they would appreciate how fabulous the Seascape apartments are, God only knows how they would have coped if they were in one of the more basic apartments.

Having read the previous reports on the seascape apartments we thought it would be good, whilst Michael and his dog Bianca where very nice and friendly, George and his wife were not. The apartments were not the best we have stayed in and we have been to a lot of Greece islands over the years.
The apartments were only cleaned once a week (that is what it appeared to be) and the towels had to be used for getting out of the shower as no mats where provided as in other places we have stayed and these where only changed once a week and did not look clean to begin with.
There are no tables on the patios of the apartments so drinks are placed on the floor. Toilet paper is provided on your 1st day then if you need anymore - buy it yourself. Having taken my elderly parents with us for the 1st time to Greece it was not good.
Do not go to the Old Tree unless you want to get ripped off for your drinks but go to Dino's for your drinks and food or to the Statis Restaurant on the main strip. The round the island trip was good value for money.

Seascape has now gone independant, the biggest loss is the Beach Bar but that may change in the future.
You just cannot beat the location of these appartments, perfectly situated on the beach, shingle yes but the views are to die for. Set just up drom the main strip, everything within walking distance but far enough away not to be disturbed by it all. All available studio's/appartments now have a pool view, appartment bedrooms are roadside but the double glazed windows keep the road noise to a mininmum.
The owners, George and Mike, will do what they can for you if it is within their power.
Enjoy your stay, I do every time, thats twice a year most years.
