For the money we paid for this All inclusive break, we thought it was just great.
The only complaints we would make if we were forced would be the thin walls (I see this complaint is quite common!) and also, our towels were not changed for three days in a row. We complained and within 10 minutes the maid was at the room with clean ones.
The selection food in our opinion was just great, always salad, pasta, rice, fish, some type of meat, some type of British dish and there was always fresh fruit available for desert. The restaurant staff worked so hard to clear the table away quickly so you didn’t have dirty plates on the table when you went onto the next course.
For a help yourself buffet style restaurant I was very impressed at this type of service.
The all-inclusive part was great because this even included all the bottled water you could drink all day long. What a money saver!!! The bar staff were incredibly friendly and cheerful for the amount of hours and hard work they put in.
I would definitely recommend this holiday to any of my friends or family who were looking for a cheap and cheerful relaxing holiday.

We have just returned from a week’s stay at this hotel. I must admit that after I had booked and paid I read reviews of this hotel on the Internet and I was really considering cancelling as it was made out to be really awful. However, the reviews from May 04 onwards were encouraging and we decided to go for it.
We got a cheap A/I deal, and at half term too! Our room was on the small side but it was clean and comfortable with a huge balcony (almost the same floor area as the room itself!).
The food was not gourmet standard but it was enjoyable and there was plenty of it. Anyone who complains that they couldn’t eat must be a really, really faddy eater. The snack bar option was great for kids - who always seem have room for chips / ketchup / sausage / burger!
Entertainment was put on in the bar/lounge every evening. OK so every night there is a fun quiz and a couple of games of bingo, but these take place early in the evening and a lot of people are still in the restaurant having dinner so you can miss the quiz/bingo by having dinner 8.30ish. The resident entertainer, Paul, was a great hit with the kids. Before the main evening entertainment the children had their own "fun time", and they had great fun doing lots of "dances with actions".
The only down side to the hotel is noise. The first few days of our holiday was marred by older teens who had obviously been given a free reign by their parents (and unfortunately those who were 18+ could over-indulge themselves at the bar) We suffered screeching (a girl thing - AGHHH!!) and running up and down the stairwells and corridors, or hanging around in the street outside the hotel until the very early hours and this disturbed our sleep. However, this is something that could happen at any resort and not just Molinos Park - but maybe the night porter could have asserted himself and requested peace and quite for the other guests. Also the thin walls do mean that you can hear the muffled conversations of your neighbours.
A short walk from the hotel are 2 pleasant, small beaches, a nice stroll down but be warned, the walk back to the hotel is steep and in the heat it’s hard working lugging all your beach paraphernalia back up to the hotel!
Overall, for what we paid we had a not too bad week. I don’t know if I would go again (I cherish my peace and quiet).

Bought a cheap holiday and got what we paid for. Plus factors met some really good people, Rob, his cousin Adie and his family from Notts County land. Danny and his wife from Glasgow, and the three cabbies from Wigan, Elvis impersonator was brilliant . Beer was Estrella so drinkable and the water free .
Entertainment good, fresh fruit most days. Downside - crowded Pool area , thin bedroom walls, damp bathroom and poor lighting. Overall the old saying is you get what you pay for, and at £169.00 you should not expect much ,and at Molinos Park you don’t get much .
Don’t fly Ryanair, they mugged us off at Reus on excess baggage, and the walk from the plane to the terminal over 800 yards was similar to being treated as a refugee entering a war zone. My only advice to people considering buying this cheap holiday is save up and go somewhere better. Staff are friendly though.

What an absolute dump! Rooms were dirty, staff were arrogant and totally unhelpful and the food was a disgrace. My boyfriend and I booked all inclusive as we thought we would save cash but ended up having to eat out every night as what was called "dinner" I would not feed to my dog.
Breakfast was greasy cold sausages, burnt beans, bricks that looked like rolls and other crap. This was also served for lunch with a couple of chips thrown in.
Had to pay for ice creams and snacks, got watered down drinks and rotten food which was included in all inclusive package.
Hotel in quiet area but not too far form local pubs/cafes, which was good, otherwise I would have retuned as skeletor! Not one to complain but this hotel is shocking and should never have been rated as 3 star.

I booked this holiday as a last minute deal after seeing it advertised on Teletext. Before we actually went, I found this website and was a bit anxious about several of the comments, so much so that I considered cancelling. We went anyway, and I am really glad that we did.
The hotel was clean, the staff were helpful and the food was fine. Ok, it wasn’t fantastic, but it was better than I expected. There was always a lot of choice, including fruit with every meal- something that is not available on a lot of holidays in this country I might add. There were fresh salads, pasta, cheeses, meat, and lots of main options and loads of dessert options. The snacks mainly consisted of burgers, sausages and chips, or some variation on that, but apart from that I had no complaints. My 4 year old daughter was satisfied with what she was given and she is not the easiest child in the world to please. I read some reviews that you had to pay for bottled water from the bar- I don’t know if this was something that used to happen, but it certainly wasn’t going on when we were there. The bar staff couldn’t have been more helpful. They filled my daughter’s beaker up with milk for me at least twice a night with no complaints. I have to admit, the entertainment wasn’t fantastic but we weren’t that fussed about it. The pools were very clean, our only complaint was that it was very busy, and almost impossible to get a sun lounger.
There is a little beach about 10 minutes walk from the hotel that is lovely. Its pretty small so it is easy to keep an eye on your kids from your sun lounger, and it was very clean. It is uphill on the way back, so this beach is not for anyone who has problems walking. There is a huge beach in Salou, but we preferred to stay at the smaller one.
The local bus stops right outside the hotel and goes to several different areas. Salou is lovely, but quite touristy. Tarragona has a nice market and coffee shops to have a rest in.
One trip I would recommend is the glass bottomed boat to Cambrilles- definitely one for the kids. My daughter claimed that she could see sharks but I think she was joking!
All in all, I was surprised at how much we enjoyed ourselves. Looking back, I’m pretty sure that we ate and drank the price of our holiday, so it was pretty good value.
I would definitely recommend the hotel for anyone on a budget, but please go with an open mind. This is a 3* hotel, so it will be like a 3* hotel. If you want beauty treatments, Jacuzzis and room service, this is not for you.
P.S. we enjoyed ourselves so much we are going back again in 2005.

We always stay in Villas for our main holiday & had never booked a package holiday before. On the spur of the moment, we booked a "cheapy" on teletext, paying about £500 for a week for 2 adults and a child. Then I read the comments on the internet & like other people seemed to have been, was very apprehensive.
We were told by our tour operator that we could easily get a taxi from the airport, but it was a bank holiday weekend and there were none. It took some people hours to get to the hotel.
When we went in to the main entertainment room I had a slight feeling of panic because it was very smoky & noisy. However, once you got used to that, the entertainment was very good. Paul & his team worked hard & my daughter (aged 10) had a great time.
The weather was terrible & the bar staff coped extremely well under a great deal of pressure.
The size of the pool was fine, because no one went in it!
I agree that the walls are paper thin & our room was right in the lift lobby, so was very noisy. That said though, they were clean & a good size for 3 people.
The food was interesting (pigs trotters one day), but we always managed to put together a decent meal & there was plenty of it.
Considering how much we paid for an all inclusive holiday, my husband & I feel it was good value for money & we are seriously considering another week there in October.

Having read various negative comments about the hotel I was extremely apprehensive about my fortnights stay.
The only negative comment is that the walls are extremely thin and I would suggest taking ear plugs.
Apart from that the Hotel staff were very helpful, the bar staff were very friendly and worked their socks off.
The food was fine with a very large hot and cold buffet selection, to manage three meals a day was an effort, never mind the snacks.
The entertainment was varied, Bingo every night and lunchtime for those that type of thing, that apart most of the entertainment was aimed at families. The highlight of the two weeks was a hypnotist who was excellent.
I would definitely go back there again.
At £279 for 2 weeks all inclusive it was a bargain.

I stayed at this hotel with my 2 year old son and my partner. we were very disappointed with this hotel as I had read some reports on this site before we went on our holiday that reassured me a little. to our disappointment we found the walls were so thin our neighbour kept us awake for most of the nights with his snoring, the walls in the bathroom were mouldy the toilet was most unpleasant and the food we couldn’t force yourself to eat. the holiday was booked as a late deal so we weren’t expecting too much but this was beyond a joke! The size of the pool compared to the size of the hotel was unbelievable there was limited sun loungers and chairs and unless you got around the pool at 7.30- 8.00 in the morning you didn’t stand a chance who knows what time you have to get up when its the middle of the season!. There was still building works going on at the hotel opposite so the noise and view was disappointing, We didn’t eat, drink or use any of the facilities because we had to go out into town every day to eat and find things to do. On the plus side the room was cleaned every day and we did get clean towels everyday we did find 2 water parks in salou and a dolphin show and there was lots of things to do for children where ever you went but nothing really for adults except shopping and eating. Bus services were our lifeline as we went in and out of town a couple of times a day it would have been very expensive in taxis the buses were very regular and reasonable We found you had to hunt about a bit to find nice Spanish restaurants otherwise they are pretty much average that offer very similar things to eat. Over all we were gutted we paid for an all inclusive holiday and used the room only it ended up costing us a fortune. Salou is a nice friendly place and very good for kids but this hotel is not suitable for any person expecting a 3* hotel (except students it seems!) I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anybody.

Booked as a last minute break with 3 friends in our early 20s so didn’t really have high expectations. The hotel was extremely clean and well presented. We were all inclusive and the choice of food & drink was very good. Outside of restaurant hours you could still get 'snacks' which were more like a full meal.
The reception staff were very helpful and the bar staff and waiters extremely friendly, even the maids were very nice. The rooms were cleaned every day and we also received clean towels every day.
The only down side to the hotel is that the walls are very thin and you can hear everything your neighbours say.
The hotel entertainment is mainly aimed at young families but nevertheless, I would still go again.

I went to the Molinos Park Hotel in Salou with 27 other people, as part of my college course. We found that the hotel was not as we had read on some Internet web pages. It was better!
We had read that it was unclean and that the food was awful but in reality it was quite nice. The food was different and it seemed that cleaning standards were higher, our room always had clean towels and at the end of the trip we all wanted to come back next year!
The only complaint that my group has is that the prices of some drinks in the bar/club area were a little high.
However with that said we would like to thank the Molinos Park Hotel Staff for giving us a lovely vacation and we hope to see them soon!

Well last min deal from Teletext, cheap price I was well away I thought there was going to be good fun staying here and I didn’t really complain at first my daughter loved it.
In the pool all the time until she slipped but I must say there was a medical lifeguard there ASAP, that was ok entertainment was in the evening karaoke kids disco and bingo, food wasn’t all that good but good enough to eat, the bar staff was real friendly especially 1 of the waiters!
Anyway all was going good except one night we sat in the bar and the cleaning bloke was cleaning the pool but he was half drunk and spilt the chemicals. God what a nightmare my daughter couldn’t get her breath nor could I it was such a horrible thing we just ran outside only my daughter couldn’t make it I thought she was going to die she fainted I carried her outside everything had to closed of from the bar until it got cleaned up.
The management took no responsibility for what happened, apart from that we all had good time for the price paid WHAT YOU LOT MOANING at!!

My boyfriend and I booked this as a late deal holiday and after reading Internet reviews we weren’t looking forward to the hotel - But it was absolutely fantastic! The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the food was great with a great choice so there was something for everyone and drinks were available throughout the day!
The hotel was very clean, the rooms and facilities were cleaned daily with fresh linen and towels.
The hotel was in an ideal location just outside of Salou, with buses every 10minutes for all local attractions. Would definitely recommend it to other people and families! (not those looking for a 18-30's holiday though)
(The only let down was the Rep at the airport who was very rude and obnoxious at the airport!)
