Accomodation was very basic but clean (ish). Not cleaned every day but overall ok. Shower was small but at least useable.
Self catering facilities consisted of one hob, one kettle and a fridge. No toaster or grill facilities, basically couldn't boil more than an egg or have a cup of tea.
Very noisy accommodation, was on a ground floor apartment and couldn't open doors as anyone could just walk in (had top taken from balcony on 1st night). Had to have the shutters and french doors closed at night as other guests were returning, noisily, from 2.30am to 6.30am each night. We normally holiday in Cyprus - Aiya Nappa, so am used to a bit of noise but this was excessive. Aircon offered but at 30 Euro per week.
Pool looked ok but we never used it as there were no umbrellas and none were allowed at this pool. So, unless you wanted to fry like bacon the beach was best option, where sunbeds and umbrellas were on hire at 7 euro a day (2 beds, 1 umbrella). Pool bar was never open but mini markets were very close by.
Hairy Lemon was good stop for breakfast. Just down the road towards the beach from these apartments.
If you like a curry, Viceroy Indian restaurant was very nice traditional made curries. A 10 min walk along the sea front towards the small marina.
Had to be out of room by 12 midday for a flight more than 18hrs later. Had to walk the streets! Extension available, again 30 Euro, but only till 7.30pm. Which still left 7hrs before pick up and 10.5hrs before flight.
Corfu Airport was a nightmare, queued for over 1hr without moving just to enter the building.

We really loved our holiday in Ipsos, the apartments were clean but basic.
The only complaint was that our bathroom window was next to some stairs so people could see in if we were having a shower, and we had quite a few ants in the apartments. However, it was cheap so what can you expect. We really enjoyed the location, Andreas the owner was very friendly, it is a very relaxing place.

Me and my partner spent a week here last June 2006. We are returning again this year in June 2007 as we had a wonderful holiday.
I love Corfu anyway and have stayed in various parts of the island. Andreas' apartments are comfortable clean and roomy.
The pool is just right for a cool dip after a lazy day on the beach and the area is quiet and has a wonderful view of the magnificent mountains behind. It is ideally located with everything you need on hand.
The restaurants, shops and beachfront area two minute walk from the apartment. Or if you fancied a quiet night on the balcony it is pure peace and quiet, spending the time taking in the lovely aroma and atmosphere and looking up at the perfect clear starry night.
On Ipsos sea front we hired a boat for the day from Leon's boat hire. Very reasonably priced. Last year we had a lovely day cruising around the little coves and eventually finding a hideaway shingle beach just for two to have our picnic on. We certainly will be hiring out another boat this year too.
As I am now pregnant, we decided that Andreas' Apartments was exactly where we wanted to spend our last holiday as a couple, as this holiday was one that holds special warm and happy memories for us.

This accommodation was very basic but very clean and was just what you needed.
Andreas himself was very nice and made sure you was looked after properly. The rooms were cleaned nearly everyday. - Personally i thought this holiday was brilliant and would go again anytime -I also met quite a few friends there who had exactly the same opinion as me.......
I would recommend this to people looking for a brill holiday in the sun with a few clubs n bars to go to at night, this would also be a good spot for families.

I went for a 2 week holiday to Andreas studios and apartments in July 08 with 3 friends. We are all 18/19 years old but sensible. I stayed with two guys and another girl, the guys had a studio and me and my friend had the apartment. The studio only had one room and 2 beds but had a great view from the balcony, and me and my friend had a really nice studio, much bigger than expected.
We were all really worried about its 2 star status, but had a lovely suprise we arrived at around 4am.
It was very clean and myself and my friend had a bedroom to ourselves, both with two single beds in them.
Andreas the owner was nice but checked up on us a little too much as we are young but this is probably due to bad experience in the past.
There were alot of age ranges, some older people, some in there 20's but for the first 12 days.. me and my friends had the pool basically all to ourselves which was really good.
It's only about 5 minutes walk to the beach and bars, although its a long strip so can take 10/15 to more and the 1 or 2 clubs which were open. places only get busy at 2/3am so night life isnt worth comparing to the capital. there are mopeds and quad bikes available for hire down the road from the studios and apartments, you can also hire a speedboat, go on banana boats or get a boat trip for quite cheap. the beach is shingle but its not very busy at all.
I would definitly reccomend this place and corfu as its a beautiful place, very cheap for what you are getting. I want to go back!
