Tsaki Sea View Complex

After a week stay at the Tsaki Sea view all I can say is this.On arrival to the complex we were taken to the bottom of the hill and then a man with a old van took our bags up and then us, we were then shown to our room,on the way up to our room there were no lights on I triped on the step and nearly broke my leg,so that was not a good start to our holiday.
our first thoughts of the room were that they were basic but what we expected for the price.
However the bed that I was sleeping in the sheets were stained,whatever it was looked minging.
I would suggest to the owners to buy new pillows and sheets or wash them on a higher degree wash.
The cooker and fridge were about twenty years old,if not older,the fridge leeked and the cooker took 1hour maybe longer to heat up.we never tried again and ate out from then on at some lovely places in Benitses and we also went the the Bakery in moraitika nearly every day for coffee and lunch as it was so nice,lovely food and cakes and very friendly.
The pool was clean,but the guy paul who ran the bar was rude and I did not like the guy,I only had a few drinks then i went else where.
I would not advise anyone to stay here and I will never stay here again.

This place is vile,full of smelly cats, there was brown stains and black hairs in the bed.The pillows stunk of sweat and were stained yellow.Yuk!
I am not a fussy person, I go camping in the uk and stay in tents, and I have stayed in many basic hotels,but this was by far the worst.I new this was going to be a bit basic,because it was cheap but this was just a joke.The only good comment is the view from my room was nice,but you could not relax as there are so many wasps,I got stung on my wrist which was quit painfull.
I would not advise anyone to stay at the Tsaki Sea view.
One other thing,the road to Benitses is very dangerous as there is no foot path and they are mad drivers, when we were there we saw parents pushing there children in prams and the cars were very close,it was very scary to watch,so beware they have no safety in mind.
We made the most of our holiday and went to some lovely places and beaches in Benitses and throughout corfu.

I booked this holiday for myself and my partner,after finding a good deal on the internet,i had read the reviews but chose not to believe them,what a mistake, this was the worst place i have ever stayed in.
The cleaners are rude, the owner of the appartments is called spiros and is very aggresive. If you dont spend all day at the pool bar spending money then he will not have the time of day for you.The room we had was like a bedsit, with two single beds, the sheets had brown stains on them and the pillows stank of sweat,The showers were always cold.
I went on holiday with an open mind but all the bad reviews are very true, do not book the Tsaki sea view,Oh yea and the place has loads of smelly cats.
I new this place was going to be basic as it was just a cheap break.but it is a joke.
Some good points of the holiday was the friends we made from cheers bar and the beautifull sun set,the lovely food we had at the sea view taverna, we made the most of our holiday by seeing the site, we did a tour of the island which was lovel,We would return to corfu just not Tsaki complex.

Me and my Fiance booked a two week stay here through holiday mania,as it seemed a very good price, we did read the reviews,some very bad and some ok,but we thought that you cant belive everything that you read, how very wrong we were.we have traveled to a few countries and I have worked in corfu and visited the country on holiday four times, and this was the worst experience and will not be returning to corfu for the following reasons.
however our holiday was very nice and enjoyable in the begining,the bank leading up to the complex was not a problem as we had a quad bike.but if we had not had a quad bike this walk was ok for us, but most people would struggle with this.we visted most places on the island cofu town, lake korrison, mount pontorkrator the highest point on corfu island 3000ft only if you drive very slow . even kavos for a couple of hours during the day,sidari,roda,dassia,and morriatika which is by far the best resort for couples and families,lefkimmi,and a taverna just beyond messongi with a panoramic view of the island balis taverna. we visited a few churches for historic reasons and photos.this is why we returned to corfu but back to the complex review for two weeks we stayed the pool bar manager we met for one drink on the first day we never drank or sat at the pool again as he was a complete jerk with a attitude but most of all the owner spiros do not complain as he will become very aggressive and in some cases will poke you in the chest and threaten to kill you and put you on the ground and stamp on you as he did to my fiance when, we told him we burnt the alliminium pan worth five quid and he demanded 25euros for this we said the pan is not worth that this is when we were met with this behaviour and when we told him the room was filthy and the floor was layered with black hairs, i mean have the entire greek men of the island shaved there legs in the room before we got there. we got some bleach and cleaned the room, after we returned from our days out the showers were freezing cold. The owner spiros also ownes alpha car rental beware if he wants 25euros for a burnt pan then what will he charge you if you damage his car be wise go to achillies car rental benitses the old guy at the tourist info next to the police station he is called andrea real nice genuine man he helped us.
I was very upset by this ordeal and i was in tears, Spiros also said we could not leave the country untill we paid 25euros for the stupid pan.my partner gave him the 25 euros and then he tried to give my partner a bottle of brandy,he said no thanks and we left,after this i will never return to corfu,i have made a formal complaint to olympic holidays and will take this as far as i can,Do not book this!!!!!!

We booked a child friendly holiday as we were taking our 4 month girl with us for a well earned relaxing holiday.
When we arrived at 7am the view from our resort was lovely. Nice sun rise and very warm.
That is where the compliments cease im afraid.
Our first requirement was to go into town and get some provisions for the next few days as we were on a self catering holiday. We were aware that we faced a 20 minute walk to town, but what we were not aware of was how dangerous this 20 minute walk into town actually was. This is the main road from Corfu town through to the southern tip of the island. All traffic goes through here. It is a long and windy (with loads of blind bends so you have to keep crossing over) road with no pavement. You have to walk at the side of the road with and against traffic. They do not slow down for you, and you will find that frequently they pull out of the way at the alst minute. We were sworn at, honked at and almost hit on many occasions.
The complex has a pool bar with a nice pool and a bar that serves beers and spirits. They have a basic menu for snacks, but they stop serving these at 4pm daily. The pool bar staff are responsible for the pool, but will do nothing to assist people in need. I say this honestly as when we were there, a young girl who could not swim was left there unattended and actually drowned. She went under and dropped to the bottom, where without the quick reaction of a stranger (parents were at the bar) who dived in and save her, this girl would have died. She was limp when pulled out but started breathing quite quickly after. No member of staff came out to see what was happening, and no accident report was filed with the records from the guy that saved her life.
If you are a couple without children then this place is bearable, however if you are elderly, have waling or breathing difficulties or have children then this is not the place for you. It is not safe.

My wife and I booked at the last minute. We were on our honeymoon and chose this as a relaxing holiday as it was sold to us as a 'Relaxing' holiday. We arrived early hours of saturday morning. Along with us, there was a family with a child in a wheelchair, the child's was forced to walk up the very steep hill (carrying his child) that leads to this 'Death-Trap' of a complex. Anyway, when we got into our room, there were 2 single beds, the room stank, the facilities were very poor. The rep couldnt give a damn, instead started making sarcastic comments. The walk to the nearest village is 20 minutes on a very busy, winding road with lots of blindspots. We walked to Benitses to get access to the internet to book our flights back the next day. Also while we were at Tsaki (for 4 hours) a child drowned in the pool, luckily the father of the child in the wheelchair jumped in and saved the drowning child. The management didnt even flutter an eyelid. How appalling!!!! Oh yeah, the breakfast consists of a egg and bacon roll!!!! dont be fooled into thinking you'll get a full fry up. There are lots of cats around the complex, we saw one devouring a mouse whilst we were sitting at the poolside. NOT MY IDEA OF A HOLIDAY......
Alot of the guests complained about bed bugs as we still stayed intouch with them, one even got admitted to the clinic in Corfu to undergo observations. The family with the disabled child were told to leave the complex as 'their child was getting on other guests nerves' which was totally untrue.
Most of the guests stay around the bar as there is nothing to do around the complex expect getting drunk and drowning your sorrows. They stay awake until early hours drinking and swearing. Not a good environment for your children.
No access for wheelchair, no TV in room and totally child unfriendly. STAY AWAY!!!!! Rude staff....

We have just returned from the tsaki sea view complex in benitses and i can honestly say its all bad. The complex itself is at the top of a very very steep hill a good 15-20 min walk in the blazing sun and thats just the hill alone. its a further 25mins walk to the town benitses if you turn left at the bottom off the hill and if you turn right *god help you*. The appartments themselves are very small and very very basic. The pool area was clean with very nice panaramic views but being on top of a mountain it will have. The pool bar area was run by a geordie guy called paul who was rude and obnoxious everything was an effort.he spent most of the day just sat on a chair shouting his orders out of all the things you cannot do around the pool area there was a new rule he had thought up every other day .you could not even have a drink around your sunbed area wich would have been nice as holidays are ment to be about your guests relaxing paul not you?. To sum everything up i have been traveling for twenty years 4 holidays a year including other parts of corfu and this has to be the worst place i have ever stayed .my advice ? avoid like the plague.

We got a night flight to Corfu, and a coach to Tsaki, where the owner, Spiros, collected us in a small creaking minivan, and left our luggage on the roadside, which then follwed us up in the truck. Whilst travelling up the steep hill, i wondered how long it was, and when we got there, i wondered how i would be able to do that everyday, but we got used to it (and we hired a car, which, during our stay of 2 weeks, was a MUST.) My family and I travelled to Corfu and stayed in this complex, in a twin room, and a double room. the room was clean and basic, yet for the price we paid, it met all our needs and was satisfactory. WE found the maid service good, and the barman Geordie Paul was lovely and made us very welcome, he had good local knowledge and advice, and we found him to be very pleasant and helpful, as well as his two assistants, Charlie and Jodie. You NEED mosquito repellent and a couple of plug-ins, we all got bitten a couple of times. As for the cats, they are there, but Paul keeps them away from food (there were 4.) All in all, we found this place pleasant and enjoyed spending our holiday in 'greek time', the pool was excellent as was the weather, and we found that having air conditioning in only one room with adjoing doors open, was all that was needed, rather than wasting money. Getting out on Friday at 12 was a pain, but we kept our luggage in the Olympic office, and went out to Benitsis for dinner. The menu at Tsaki was basic, and the beers were 3 euros when you can get them at a discount shop Diella's for 79 cents, but you can't take your own food or drink to the pool/bar. We all enjoyed our holiday and would recommend it...

shaz and brian really good 2 be around went on some great excursions with them.capello look alike 2 entertain all.capellos mother and mary WELL THEY ARE EVEN FUNNIER;Paul an charlie good geniuin bar staff.REALLY CHEAPER than down town.NEVER STOPPED LAUGHING ALL HOLIDAY. i would go again met a friendley scouse couple how entertaining can u get as scousers are a laugh.

we arrived late in the night,we first thought,"oh, no where are we" but when daylight came we were more than surprised, the views were beautiful,you are quite near the airport so we could watch the planes come in [but not noisy], the pool was very clean as was the surrounding pool/bar,Paul was friendly and good crack, also strict about rubbish left at pool,[rightly so]place was spotless,small complex but meant that everyone got on,everyone greeted you in the mornings, food basic but lovely, hill up to complex very, very steep,as we knew before we went, but with me being an asthmatic,it was too much, so we hired a scooter for the rest of the holiday,which Paul arranged for us,we found Paul to be very obliging and kind.Paul,if you read this my husband John wonders if you ever got settled into your new abode, thanks for making our stay very pleasant and enjoyable, we have tried to book for next year but there are no flights,for when we want to go,maybe we will make it sometime and hope you will still be there,
