The apartments are very basic and the pool area quite small but you could always get a sun bed around the pool if needed. Everyone who works at the apartments are very friendly the service is good and overall cleaned well.
I have two children aged (11 and 13) and a big part of their holiday is making friends at the apartments. Because of this we normally tend to spend a large percentage of our holidays around the pool while they play however we found ourselves doing things differently this holiday.
There are several beaches within a 30 minute walk from the apartments, the best one within a 15 minute walk. There is a small water park about 30 minutes walk from the apartments as well and this is well worth a visit. It’s 6 Euros each to get in but only for those going on the slides, it’s free for those who don’t go on the slides.
There is a small area for under 8’s and 4 large slides for those who are more daring. The swimming pool is very big as well. We went there on 3 days meeting up with people from the apartments.
Sivota it self is lovely. It is very picturesque with some lovely tavernas, restaurants and the like on the harbour front. You could eat in a different place every night and not be disappointed.
I would advise you not to go on any trips through Avis the tour rep from Olympic
(Who reminded me of a female David Brent). While we were there I never heard of a trip that went well. That said it could have just been a bad couple of weeks for trips!
Overall the apartments are clean and friendly and a good base to get out and see Sivota from. If you have children you may find it difficult of a night to amuse them but you should be OK during the day.

One of the best holidays we've had! This is the place to come if you want to do nothing but relax. The Apartments were very clean, staff were friendly and the stroll down to the harbour each evening was perfect.
It suited us that we were left alone, but that they were approachable enough when we needed something. We tried a different beach each day during the first week and returned to our favourites during the second. Most of them had loungers and parasols which you could use for free or hire for about 5 euros.
The sea is delightful. No sandy beaches though! Went on daytrips to Corfu, Paxos, Anti Paxos and Albania and hired a car to visit Ionnia and Parga. The selection of tavernas in Sivota means that you can eat at a different place each night.
Everyone is very friendly and the harbour is great for people watching! A visit to Parga made us feel glad we were in Sivota as the place is very busy and you're just another tourist. Sivota makes you feel welcome.

Firstly the Murtomino was just about 3 star. It was very clean but Basic. We went B&B which was adequate. Your typical Greek breakfast of bread, jam, honey, orange juice, coffee and cake. The staff were very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble.
The pool (if you needed it) was spotless. We used the beaches as we were early in the season and there was hardly anybody on them but as we departed we saw them filling up and sun beds appearing. We found the best beach the one beyond the water park. Wonderful setting and a very pleasant little bar set in an olive grove (Sun Bar). Sivota itself is very clean and laidback except for weekend's when the affluent Greeks arrive.
Most of the tavernas are good but we thought the best one was the "Blue Coast" which is at the far end of the quay. The owners are a Turkish gentleman and a Greek/Canadian lady who are both very pleasant and serve excellent food at reasonable prices. Parga, down the road is OK for a visit but that's all. Very attractive front but Voltas beach is big and busy. Walk up to the Castle (fabulous views)
I think to sum up we had one of the best holidays ever and we will most likely visit Sivota again but at a different hotel or apartment.

Excellent budget hotel, rooms very clean, Sivota very quiet, not much to do but relax.
Hire a car and see the surrounding area, some of the finest scenery in Greece, and I have been going to Greece for 20years. Especially good is the source of the Acheron river, the Styx of Greek legend, the mountain scenery nearby is magical
Boat trips to Paxos usually available.

Arrived in late June to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. First impressions were good, the apartments were very clean and the staff very polite and helpful.
The Olympic rep Avis was very nice and knowledgeable; the nightly walk to the harbour was very pleasant with the good lady on my arm and the sun on your back!
The harbour was a delight, plenty of places to eat, good portions and excellent quality. The best place to eat for us was the Blue Coast at the far end, make sure you visit the bamboo bar on the front, fantastic location to watch the SUNSET!
Great holiday, cannot wait to go back in 2007!
