Great hotel, Food was nice, Accommodation was clean and staff were helpful. My only negative comment is that the aircon stopped working for first night and it had been 28c in day and min of 21c overnight so was rather warm sleeping as you can imagine.

hi i have just returned from the hotel margarita i was very impressed with my first view of the place , but as the week went on it got worse the entertainment was terrible the food was ok but got a bit boring the pools leave a lot to be desired if u were not 5ft something u could not go in as you could not stand at the shallow end and you were not aloud to play with a ball or use water floats in the big pool u had to go in the baby pool the bar staff were very freindly and also the maids u do not have hairdryer in room and u have to pay for... more

just come back from a week at playa margarita booked through thomas cook and quite frankly it was shocking. The food was cold and looked like the prevous night left over i only had 2 meals there and 1 breakfast and 1 evening meal (that was enough) the staff on reception wasn't very helpful (although spoke good english) i repoted an air condioning unit leaking water on the monday and the enginner arrived on Thursday. I have just got back from a week's stay at this hotel and I have to say that the people who write reviews on here are very hard to please! The hotel was in lovely condition, very clean, the staff are really helpful and the food is varied and plentiful! It is located in between 2 beaches, a small one is just up the hill and a 5 mins walk, whereas the main larger beach is down the hill and 5 mins walk along through the main street of shops, bars and restaurants. Just arrived back from a 3 night stay at this hotel. 1st impression was very good and it did not let us down! The Hotel even smells clean! The pool was clean and the sun went at about 5pm There is even a lifeguard.......thats a 1st! Food was good, hot and varied. Rooms cleaned every day - clean sheets and towels as well. Nice clean rooms,close to the beach and all amenities. Sadly the lack of miniclub and childrens entertaiment was a let down,the so called playarea consisted of a small slide and 3 wooden rocking animals suitable for under 5`s(under 12`s must be accompanied by an adult).The food was disgusting! Hiya, well I dont know what all these other daftys are all on about but don't listen to them . I went there last month, the food was ok, a change every night could have been a bit better. Needs more sunbeds in the hotel but apart from htat it was excellent. Rommz were changed daily, really clean quiet hotel. Well overall the hotel was very clean and all of the staff were very friendly. The food was just ok wasn't very in to it myself but it was always something to pick at. The holiday rep was terrible because she was never there we had to ring airtours ourselves to find out when the bus would collect us to take us home as the hol rep didnt put up a notice. Also, examine the tickets the hotel sells u for Aquapolis because we had some problems with them. Overall the hotel is in an excellent location with many bars and places to eat nearby. more

Me and my fiance went in may 2006 and we had the best time. The hotel was very clean and the rooms are cleaned everyday. We had no problem with the food we both found it to be very nice and not repeative. The food was cooked properly but to spanish standards (the dont cook their meat as well as we do). the hotel was with easy reach of everything. just a 2 min walk to the little beach which is much nicer than the big beach.
