I was very surprised to find such mixed reviews on the internet - our own experience was of one of the nicest rooms places we’ve stayed in 8 trips to Crete. I think much depends on expectations, what you want from the holiday and also the room you end up in. The best bit... more

Swimming pool very very tiny, you have to trek across Rethymnon to companion hotel to use their pool, which in honesty isn't that big either, very disappointed. No information given on where to find studios once dropped off at outskirts of old town, as no cars are allowed... more
