Went for two weeks, resort itself offers plenty to do, water park is good, and the Universal theme park is good fun, lots of arcades to keep you entertained in the nights. Also a trip to Barcelona is nice.
Nothing wrong with the rooms, didn't get a double bed though, for me and my girlfriend. Just two singles pushed together, what can you do though. Hygiene was good.
Food wasn't up to much, some of it was nice, but wasn't enough choice, and same food served up most days. And the restaurant itself was horrible, it was underground and dark and dingy!
Didn't check out the entertainment, not into that sort of thing. Staff were polite and friendly.
Bars and restaurants in Salou are a bit too British for my liking, seeing as you are in Spain.
Would go back to Salou, but not to this Hotel. Salou is great for adults and kids, with plenty to do.

I have just returned from a 2 week holiday in Salou with my partner and 2 daughters aged 11 and 14. The hotel was good but certain things made it poor. I had booked 2 rooms, one for my daughters and the other for my partner and myself.
The rooms were right next to each other, one room had two double beds pushed together making the room look smaller and the other room that my daughters shared had three single beds, two of them pushed together and the other pushed to the side of the room. The room also had a crack in the wall, plug sockets hanging out the wall and a broken tile on the floor which my youngest cut her foot open on.
Both rooms overlooked the main pool but this was hard to see because of trees. Food in the restaurant was rubbish it was more for the Germans and Spanish than the English, I had 2 burgers and both of them were uncooked in the middle and all my daughters were eating was chips day after day.
The entertainment was rubbish it was more for younger children and after that we just couldn’t stand it so we were always going to the hotel we stayed in before for the entertainment as it was way better. I would recommend this hotel for someone with young children and likes to try new things.

We have just returned back to Torrevieja in Spain from a week in Salou. What a fantastic holiday have two children age 8 and 4 they were made to feel very welcome at the hotel but waited until the last night to join in the mini disco. Plenty of friends made. Port Aventura is a definite to visit we did two days and still didn’t t do all of it. As with other reviews quite noisy at night but that is just lack of manners all round won t mention nationalities you know who you are all in all well worth money but would prefer to do all inclusive next time all I can say is don t think about it just go go go you won t be disappointed.

Myself and my husband spent 10 days in this hotel in May and found this to be a very nice hotel. Having went all inclusive to other hotels I found the food here to be varied and good quality except for the veal!
There were a good mix of nationalities in the hotel - in particular the Irish, English and Dutch were very friendly.
I will give top marks to the bar staff who always served me very quickly and myself and my husband thought they were very friendly . The cleaning staff were excellent and provided lots of clean towels etc. The man who welcomed everyone to the restaurant was really nice and friendly - waiters were also excellent and always very quickly over for our drinks order. Didn't hear much noise but always had a good few vodkas before going to bed so that may have helped. There is a great breakfast place called Chippys quite close to the hotel if you fancy paying for a full Irish breakfast. I have just booked another 10 days in this hotel in September and I am taking my mother.
There were loads of shops in Salou - I have not checked them all out yet but will in September as mother loves bargains.
I shall comment again when I come back in September.

Just arrived back from a lovely week at Best Oasis Park, Salou. We stayed on an all inclusive basis, and were delighted. The hotel is big, spacious and the staff have a lovely friendly attitude.
The room was cleaned every day and fresh towels were left every day too. The meals were excellent, every morning you could choose from the usual selection of all inclusive breakfasts plus freshly made omelettes and pancakes made by the chef in front of you. At lunchtime and evenings we were delighted to have a lovely choice of food or again you could choose freshly made burgers, fish, chicken etc done on the bbq in front of you.
A thing that bothers me going all inclusive is the food staying warm, this hotel certainly doesn’t have this problem with trays being constantly changed with fresh food. Your drinks are served to you by the waiters, no queuing! The bar area is again big spacious and clean, with 3 pool tables. I really liked the fact that, if you had 4 all inclusive cards you could collect 4 drinks, none of this one drink per visit carry-on.
The pool area again is very good, spacious and clean. There are four pools, so will suit everyone including toddlers. The children’s entertainers do well during the day with pool activities. There is a small play park. The only one thing that disappointed me, after the mini-disco and games for the kids etc, there was only two shows, for adults, in the week that we stayed, may because it was early June! And yes as like all hotels, they do need to improve the sound proofing.

Stayed for one week at Oasis Park Hotel in Sept 04 had three children with us aged 8 10 14 really enjoyed our holiday and are returning again on 26th June 06 hope that we will enjoy this stay as much as the last.
Have to agree pool's could be better but didn’t go on holidays to sit beside a hotel pool so served its cause when needed. Food was great I thought great choice but repetitive every day but still enough tasty food to fill you for the day what more do you want for the price you pay. Location was great for shops beaches busses and most things you want.
I live in Ireland and got quoted the same for a weekend with breakfast and one evening meal for the five of us. Weather unpredictable and being ripped off in the shops for rubbish. No activities for children, worth talking about and come home not knowing you have been away. Now you know why I wouldn’t complain about a hotel with what I class nice food, great weather and fantastic entertainment for everyone, not to mention the beautiful beaches.

My partner and myself went for a April break, so to get some quality time, we booked as usual through the internet fine no probs, go there flight was good (Ryan Air) good transfer to hotel (20 mins) booked in, room fine clean nice size, bathroom very nice, we were on the 6th floor over looking the pool area.
First day nice went to the beach 20 mins, very nice good for the kids (if you have any) shallow waters. First night was very noisy, they had what sounded like one million Spanish OAP's in for they annual Hol's, what a night, they certainly know how to party!!! NO SLEEP. Ok well you can't win them all, so the next day went to Tarragona, not bad bus service very good, drivers very helpful (extra helpful if you are a woman!!) came home to a nice evening meal, the only thing is that they do not mark up what you are eating! That evening there was what sounded like thousands of 15 to 17 year old Spanish youths!!!
What a night that was screaming out on the balconies charting etc, etc to late in the night and morning. This again happened the following evening and kick off about 21:40 I went on the phone to reception to complain they took their time but it abated but started again at 05:00Hrs the next morning, this spoilt our holiday as we were very tired the next day, these people have no consideration for others, if they were in this country they would be in handcuffs by now!!!!
Nice Hotel but very, very noisy can you imagine the noise in the summer season?????

Myself and my teenage daughter booked Oasis Park through alpha rooms. Might I say this is a brilliant company as we were to stay an extra few days in Salou at another hotel, but changed our minds and wanted to stay on in Oasis Park. Alpha rooms rang Oasis Park and changed the booking for us.
Re Oasis park. Brilliant hotel. Spotless rooms. Helpful staff. food not great but people need to remember that we are in Spain and we cant expect an Ulster fry the way its made at home. We always got enough to eat anyway. Got sick of listening to the British complaining about the food. Anyway got an offer to go to a 4 star hotel this year but my daughter wants to go back to Oasis Park and we're going! So should you!!

Oasis Park is possibly one of the best hotels in Salou, although admittedly some are in need of a revamp. Food was good all round, rooms are cleaned daily and are what you would expect.
Entertainment needs looking at bingo in 6 languages or flamenco dancing didn't do much for us but pubs like the cavern for football & karaoke was only a 5 minute walk.
Can't understand some of the other reviews and can only presume that people giving 1/10 must normally stay in the Ritz.
If you plan it right and book flights with the likes of Ryanair you can get a very good value holiday.

Just returned after spending a fantastic week in Salou, and we’re already thinking about going back in October.
Oasis Park Hotel was lovely, and ideally located near to shops, bars and two lovely beaches.
The food was good, especially the breakfasts where there was so much choice that even the fussiest eater should have been satisfied! Although we went out most days and missed lunch, you were able to get snacks like burgers and chips all day by the pool, so we were never hungry.
The hotel was very busy, so the pool was often crowded, but there is so much to do in Salou that it seemed a waste of time to stay by the pool all day.
The aquapolis waterpark was fantastic...well worth 19 euros, and was far better than the one next to Port Aventura. (You can get the bus to both right outside the hotel!)
We also wanted to see the NouCamp in Barcelona, and booked a coach trip for 25 euros each that took you to the stadium for a tour of the dressing rooms etc. The coach then took you to the city of Barcelona for two free hours where you could shop etc...and then to the Magic Fountain which was superb. (Neither me or my boyfriend had heard of it but it was brilliant.) Anyway...there were leaflets advertising this coach trip everywhere, and I would highly recommend it because with your tickets, you got 13 euros off the admission price to Port Aventura!
For nightlife...there is something for everyone but the cavern is good if you like your football (big screens showing all the good games) and you have got to see Tubby Brown in Sinatras. Snoepys nightclub was good, but families with children may prefer the bars near to the hotel.
This was a fantastic holiday...the waiters and bar staff in the hotel were a bit temperamental at times but I could only sympathise with them because they worked some very long shifts!
We went as a group of 6 (3 couples) and we had a ball. If you decide to choose Oasis Park...you should have a great holiday. (Just watch out for the elevators/lifts, because the doors have a mind of their own).

Just arrived from a fortnight in Oasis Park in Salou. The Hotel was very nice, the food was excellent, maybe the best we ever had in Spain (14 years all over Spain).
The room was OK, clean but small. The pool area was small too; the big one needed more cleaning. The entertainment was poor, however the animator was very nice and he did what he could with such conditions.
The staff are also very nice, specially Silvia and the maitre of the restaurant.
What was really too bad is that Salou is crowded with English and Dutch youths who drink too much and go in groups through the streets breaking cars and making noise and bullying with people.
Police should be more efficient and pay more attention. The hotel doesn't have a private parking lot and our cars must be parked in the streets nearby and they are vandalized almost every night.
The funny thing is we are sure it was not the Spanish who went around vandalizing the cars and making noise, but those who come from such "civilized" countries like England and Holland, and who don't do those things in their own countries.
We would go back to Oasis Park Hotel if it were closer to the beach and it had a parking lot.
