i have just returned from my two weeks stay at oasis park. This is the third time i have stayed at this hotel over many years and believe the standard has not faultered. The amount of people moaning (British mainly) was over silly things like queuing for dinner, made me feel like telling them to grow up. You cant please everyone and as the hotel is a three star rating i feel it meets that criteria.
The Staff work hard, the pool area was clean, however yes there was a stampede in the morning but thats because people kept going down early to get beds which ended up in more people joining them etc!!! Crazy!!!
The food is good and there is enough choice to suit all needs!!!
I didnt bother to stay in for the entertainment but did hear one or two caberets there over the two weeks which sounded good!!!
There are many good bars in salou, which cater for families, couples or party animals!! Salou never sleeps, and the hotel is in a lively location, i think i was awoken once over the fornight, but wherever you go you get that!!!
Im going back next year and cant wait!!!

A lot of noice wherever you are put as this hotel is surrounded by bars and other hotels music etc.The pool area was the dirtiest i have ever seen did not hose once in the whole time i was there, bird droppings were ingrained into the floor.Food was ok although chicken legs should not be brown in the middle.Room was kept clean but that was about it.They had a ping pong tournament advertised for 4pm one day,the entertainment man asked me for a game and then dissapeared leaving me to organise the kids contest.

I am amazed at to the rateing's of the people of this hotel, the staff at recerption were fine , the overal
rating was poor . I FEEL THIS IS A DEFFINATE statement to make sure that a better system is in place for the europeaen public to have a great holiday.

Looking forward to a weeks break in Spain with my two boys 12yr and 16 also my aged Mother, what a dissapointment , we arrived at 9am with full intentions to enjoy the early arraval, but was told we had no rooms and had to be transported to another hotel.
Arriving back next morning we could not get to our allocated rooms till 12- 30.
Food was recycled type veal steak cooked at night meal would be veal stew next night also breakfast beans thrown in, food tasteless, LOOKED GREAT buffet style but very poor, no tea making facilitys alway,s coffee to purchace.
DONT bother with sun beds or umbrellas you will encounter world war three as people have them set up like the Iffel Tower, sml tables and chairs on top to secure them for the day, It was a digrace as the grnuine people who tryed to get sun beds when they needed them bare faced people set them up and walked away to have breakfast , while family,s with small children had to find a shaded area.
very poor.

STAYED HERE FOR 9 NIGHTS JUNE-JULY. THE HOTEL WAS EXCELLENT. THE RECEPTION STAFF VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THE ROOMS WERE CLEANED DAILY, BEDDING CHANGED REGULARLY AND FRESH TOWELS SUPPLIED WHEN USED ONES WERE LEFT IN THE BATH.
THE POOL AREA WAS CLEANED EVERY DAY AND THE STAFF WORKED TIRELESSLY EMPTYING BINS AND CLEARING AND CLEANING TABLES.
THE ALL-INCLUSIVE SERVICE WAS FIRST CLASS, ALTHOUGH THE "ONE DRINK PER WRISTBAND" COULD PROVE A LITTLE IRKSOME, ESPECIALLY FOR THOSE WITH SMALL CHILDREN WHO WERE INCAPABLE OF CARRYING THEIR OWN REFRESHMENTS. HOWEVER,THE BAR STAFF WERE MOST HELPFUL ONCE THEY REALISED WE HAD A WHEELCHAIR USER IN OUR PARTY.
THE ENTERTAINMENT PROGRAM CATERED FOR MANY DIFFERENT NATIONALITIES AND DID VERY WELL CONSIDERING THE NUMBERS INVOLVED. THE MINI DISCO FOR THE YOUNG ONES WAS VERY GOOD.
HOWEVER, THE STAR OF THE SHOW FOR ME WAS THE SHOW COOK IN THE DINING ROOM. HE WAS TRULY A GEM. THE MOUTHWATERING CREPES WHICH HE MADE FRESH FOR BREAKFAST WERE TRULY SUPERB AS WERE THE FRIED EGGS. IN THE EVENING HE WOULD GRIDDLE PORK LOIN, CHICKEN, BURGERS, HOT DOGS OR FISH TO ORDER. HE WORKED SO HARD AND WHATEVER THEY ARE PAYING HIM... IT ISN'T ENOUGH!!!
I WOULD THOROUGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AND PLAN ON RETURNING VERY SOON.

my family and i have just returned today from this hotel my only complaint about the hotel is the lift as my cousin got stuck in the middle one (dont go in it). there was 3 of us in are room my cousin, my sister and myself which was quite spaciouse for us,the bathroom was bigger than you would normally have in a hotel which was great for us 3 girls. the tv in the room was nearly all german but there was a music channel that
played english songs so no complaints there as we were only ever in the room to sleep and get ready to go out. the pools were clean but cold but we didnt mind as it was realy hot so they cooled us down. i dont understand why some people have said the bar staff arent very nice as the ones thats served us were lovely especially the girl who made me laugh.
theres a great bar over the road called the ski hut which we went in a few times and theres also a bar round the corner called jacks that do lovely sunday dinners. the little hampton bar is great for food try the steak and also the breakfasts.
the market near the hotel is great theres a guy that does sand pictures that are lovely i wanted them all! there definatly worth a look at.
port aventura is great for people of all ages i personaly dont like rides but my sister said that the blue ride just as you go in is fantastic it goes from 0-135 mph in 0-3 seconds. sea odessey was a good ride and the water rapids are good.
some of the spanish people there are not very nice and tend to bump into you as you are walking for this reason i would not recomend the sunday market as you get pushed and shoved everywere and cannot have a proper look at things.

Just returned from a week long break at this hotel, this is our second time here and it was fantastic. The rooms are spacious (we have two children so need space) with large beds and very clean. We had clean towels and beds every day.
The staff especially reception staff were very helpful and friendly, and the food was fantastic. Ok there was one or two nights we didn't fancy what was on the buffet, but the chef cooking at the grill did lovely burgers, chicken and fish. So nobody went without food. Breakfast was also just as good, although one morning I did complain as the bacon and eggs were cold. This was in the smaller dining room to the left, the head waiter told me its better to sit in the main dining room which we did after that.
We didn't use the pool as we prefer the Cappellans beach around the corner, but the pool area was clean.
Entertainment was fine, although we tended to go out at night with the kids but on the occasions that we came back early the place was full with everyone having a good time. The kids loved playing in the play area where the swings are, and on the whole it was a great holiday.
As I said this is our second time in this hotel, we stayed there last october, and we would recommend it to anyone, we shall definitely be returning next year. It is great value for money.
I didn't find it noisy at all, we were facing the side, but the entertainment in the hotels all stops at midnight anyway, so it wouldn't have mattered if it was a bit noisy. Not many people who go on holiday are in bed before midnight lets be honest.

We stayed in the Best Oasis Hotel from 18th sept - 25th Sept 07 and loved every minute of it. Ignore all of the bad reviews this hotel was great. Rooms were cleaned every day and fresh towels left out. Lovely pools and sitting area. Most members of staff were nice and friendly towards us.
We didn't catch the entertainment in the hotel but heard it was very good. Hotel food was great, bit too much fish but that's all we could fault. Over-all we really enjoyed our stay at the Best Oasis and wished we could have stayed in Salou an extra week. Only fault in the hotel is that there wasn't a fridge in the room so if you wanted a nice cold drink in the morning you had to either go to the shop or the bar but everything else was ok.

We stayed at this hotel from 1st-15th August 2007 half board.
It's not a bad hotel but there are a few things which prevents me from recommending it. These comments have previously been made on this site too.
The hotel is situated near the hippy market at the end of the main road and is about a ten minute walk to the beach. It's not too noisy during the night as we were in a room down the side of the hotel although the hotel entertainment next door can get pretty loud. This didn't bother us though. Their entertainment was better than ours and we could watch from our balcony!
The rooms were fine, maid came in every day if you wanted. Two double beds for the four of us, TV mostly Spanish with CNN and Eurosport. Good size bathroom with a great shower that was quite powerful. We were on the 2nd floor which wasn't too bad - we could walk it easily but god help you if you are on the 6th floor.
The lifts are slow and only carry a limited amount of people.
The food was quite poor. Don’t get me wrong there was always something you could eat but although they tried - they failed to deliver. The burgers were apparently nice if you were prepared to wait in long queues.
The hotel has 4 pools. The main one is quite dirty and both my kids ended up with ear infections during our stay which involved trekking to the E14C centre over the other side of town. You could always get sunbeds which was good.
The staff allow the children to sit around the entertainment area and so it is difficult to see the acts. It’s hard to get chairs and a table despite the poor quality of the entertainment.
There were a couple of 'good' acts the rest were grim. the mini disco went on forever! and the two entertainment staff were not good. Two nights entertainment was bingo! Whoopee!
Salou beach is good and the water is clean, 4 Euros for a sunbed or 7 under the shades.
Pedelo’s 12-15 Euros. Salou itself was a bit smelly and quite dirty compared to the other side of town (where we stayed last year at the Villa Marina Club - Excellent Hotel) and this spoiled it a bit.
The Spanish are very rude, don’t queue and bash into you without so much as a backward glance. Went on the bus to Tarragona and was actually hit by a Spanish pensioner getting on the bus in a large crush! It wouldn't happen here I can tell you. If you're not too fussy this hotel will be adequate! Julie, John, John & Charli, Liverpool UK.

The Oasis Park was nothing like the bad reviews we read before our holiday. It was spotless, the maids cleaned our room every day and left clean towels, the reception staff were helpful and our rep was lovely.
The hotel entertainment was ok, very loud, good for kids though.
The food was ok, not much choice for kids but you can always eat out at the many reasonable bars. Loads of English pubs aswell.
The pool area was fantastic, loads of beds so no fighting for them.
Salou itself fantastic for familys weve been twice before. Port Adventura well worth a visit good for all ages. Weather boiling hot all week overall a fantastic holiday.

I have just returned from this hotel after one week with my two teenage children. The hotel is awful - the reception staff were friendly but all other staff were unbelievably rude. When we arrived our room was available but filthy, there was still sand on the floor amidst other peoples hair. The door handle on the extremely basic bathroom was hanging off and the beds were not properly made. The maid only replaced the towels each day and pulled covers over the beds - I had to ask for the room to be cleaned 3 times on 3 separate occasions. There was the same rubbish on the stairs for 3 days - this hotel is not clean.
We tried to sit by the pool but the smell of sewage was too strong. The food was very erratic and similar but food splashed up the curtains and old rags under table legs to stop wobbling. The only plus was the bus stop across the road and Port Aventura was good. Sadly we tried to spend as little time as possible in the hotel and did not hang around to see any entertainment. Overall very disappointed.

Well I'm not long back from my holiday from Salou, I must admit I did have a great holiday but I think that it was the people I was with and definitely not the hotel. I went with my mum and my friend, me and my friend both aged 15.
The hotel was okay, nice size of rooms and lovely hotel but... The bar staff made you feel very unwanted and the only great staff there were at the reception who were very helpful. Bar staff couldn't be bothered with the English I dont think. Apart from that the breakfast was okay nothing special, lunch and dinner were very poor I must say. Snacks from the bar were okay not much there though.
We were all inclusive but we ate out for breakfast and even dinner most nights. Entertainment wasn't up to much either so we also went out to clubs as most of the entertainment was the kids disco. So this has put us off being all inclusive from now on. Also at night there is no chance for an early night, we heard people coming in at all times and the busy streets. The hotel was full of Spanish people.
I don't think I would recommend this hotel to anyone. They just need to fix the food and entertainment and the bar staff and things would be a lot better!

I am a 16 year old girl who has just come home from this hotel with my younger brother mum && dad! Over all we thought this hotel was fantastic the food couldn’t of been any better and the pools out side were ok!
Only problems were the amount of sun lounges there were, you had to run out side to put your towel down other wise you would have 2 lie on the floor!
Another problem was the maids with the cleaning, a couple of things tend to off went missing!
The position the hotel is set in is fantastic near all shops, pubs, clubs etc....only real problem was the noise from the other hotels near by and certain people in the hotel at the time off our stay!
We did complain many times but nothing seemed to be done about it!
Over all stay though was good and for a family hotel I would recommend this! Entertainment brilliant! Me and my family would consider going again!

Best Oasis Park was ok but for safety reasons, people with small children should think carefully because there is no way to lock the door. The door handle was at a level that allowed my 1 year old child to often open the door and run off.
The buffet meals were very repetitive, with cold and hot drinks in the morning including wine but not even a glass of water is offered with evening meals. Therefore, it becomes very expensive when travelling with children on a half-board basis. We had to buy water every evening.
Evening entertainment for children (children's disco) was very cheesy and 2 members of staff had to do everything themselves: operate the music and dance. They didn't even wear uniform so you couldn't identify who they were. I believe they should take a trip to one of the British caravan holidays, to see the difference.
For the money spent, they could have provided a better service.

Hotel is quite cheap and cheerful; however the location is excellent for anyone who wants to go out at night.
The Resort is overall quite dirty and a bit "chavy" but the nightlife is really good.
The hotel has two "proper" pools although it quotes 4 on its website 2 are more like Jacuzzis.
The food was relatively poor although it was edible and the rooms were quite dirty.
Road outside was noisy all through the night, as there is a large nightclub opposite.
Overall quite cheap and cheerful but a good location.
