For a reasonable price, it was very nice. Beautiful white sand beaches. Clean, quite family atmosphere that allowed us to relax on the beach an around the pool with young children. Restaurants were convenient, somewhat affordable (for a resort) and tasty with good size portions. Location is superb. Close to grocery store, other restaurants and ice cream shop. Captain Dave’s parasailing, wave runners and dolphin excursion was alot of fun (pricey). We also enjoyed Busch gardens, beach volleyball, swimming, lying on the beach (hammocks were nice) and meeting new people. Staff was pleasant.
Cons: parking cost $8 a day additional. Cabana for the beach cost additional. I recommend the package deal, $15 a day for parking and cabana combined. Much cheaper to get together.
All in all, a very affordable, relaxing and enjoyable trip.

We opted for a twin centre holiday and after spending a week on International Drive and doing all the theme parks, we were looking forward to relaxing for our second week. We were not disappointed in the least! The Sirata Beach, as it indicates is right on the beachfront. We requested a Gulf view room and was able to watch the sun setting at 8pm every night.
There are 3 pools (and two spas) and only previously going to the Med for our holidays before this, could not believe that there was never a fight for sun loungers! No need to take towels away with you either, as there is a towel hut and you just go on and hire them.
We found the staff to go out of their way to help in any way that they could. The room was cleaned every day and their standards are excellent.
Outside of the hotel we found to be very quiet. As it is among a residential area, a lot of the bars actually close at 10pm. Although having said that, we did find Bennegans to be quite lively and they were even trial-ing karaoke on a Friday night, quite unheard of around there.
Just one thing to watch out for, something that we hadn’t heard of before .... they have something called Red Tide there. Not sure if it's every year or whether we were just unlucky. As soon as we arrived, I noticed that we all started getting a niggly tickly throat. When we went to our Welcome Meeting, the rep also had it. She told us that there was an outbreak of Red Tide which kills fish, marine mammals and water birds and can cause breathing problems in humans. It's a harmful algae and we were assured that as long as we didn’t have any bronchial problems, then the side effects are just as described above.
Having said all that, it's a beautiful place and I would love to go there again.

Pictures are incredibly deceiving, people. Do not waste your money at this place, it is not worth it! We were given a downgraded room even though we pre-paid for a king suite, bathtubs in both rooms were dirty, the beds are up against the front door so you're woken up every time someone walks by, we had a cooktop but no pots or pans, so what's the point. The staff is unprofessional and rude, the restaurants are very, very expensive and the jacuzzi has salt water in it. Other people we spoke to had unauthorized charges to their room by someone who swindled a dinner from the restaurant using their room number, and the hotel refused to remove the charges. Another thief staying at this "resort" stole everything we owned at 11 a.m., our tent, our chairs, my children's sand toys, etc, and hotel security blamed us! I didn't realize you had to pack up everything you own when you need to use the restroom or go to your room for lunch. Although it was not their fault that we were robbed, not one single staff member, including the MANAGER, showed an ounce of understanding or compassion and basically acted like it was operation normal around there. Their security cameras were broken too. The security guard told me stuff gets stolen all the time, and we should consider ourselves "lucky" that it only happened to us once in 10 years of going to the beach. Unbelievable! At $200 a night you expect higher customer service, and not expect to see someone fall off the 3rd story balcony, which is another incident that happened during our stay, because drunks are everywhere and they're making money off them. They will nickel and dime you on everything, so be prepared to pay to use a luggage cart, wifi, the pool table, and parking across the street on Gulf Blvd. if their lot is full. We are locals and I am prepared to tell everyone of our experience at this horrible place.
