Parc Corniche Hotel

Hurricane Frances was coming, we were stressed and rushed, and made the mistake of forgetting a lockbox in a hotel room. The box contained passports and other important documents as well as the small amount of jewelry that we owned. No one at the hotel found anything in the room, there were no other registered guests in the room after we checked out, every one of the hotel staff we talked to attempted to suggest that we lost the box somewhere else. We called the sheriff and filed a report for the lost documents. He could not do anything else since it was not a criminal act. The crime is though that someone on the hotel staff took our box from the room, took the documents, took the jewelry, while the rest supported them by not taking any action to help us. My wife and I went through the scenario many times in an effort to determine if there was any other possibility that the box could have been left somewhere else. We have no doubt in our minds about where the box was left. People that take advantage of others in this way, at times like this, I believe are the ones that have lost, having to deal with their conscience, looking over their shoulder to see who is watching what they do every day of their lives.

Very nice place to stay. Very friendly and clean, staff was very helpful, prompt, and friendly. Yes it could use a facelift. But in Orlando where the majority of your time is spent away from the hotel, and in theme parks. Lets be real... Why else would you go to Orlando. The size of the room and price, cleanliness, beautiful kept grounds, and super convienent location. One of Orlando's great values.

This is the worst place in orlando. Rusty Fridge, smells bad, RUDE RUDE RUDE RUDE staff. Dirty pots, utensils and counter, when asked if i could change rooms, i was told there was nothing else, they were sold out, so i called on my cell phone to make a reservation to see if they were telling the truth, and the girl said they had plenty of rooms. DO NOT STAY HERE. You will regret it. And watch out for the blonde at the front desk with the English accent, she lies.

This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at! The first room we were given smelled like sewer. Then, one day while at the park, hundreds of dollars from our LOCKED hotel safe was stolen. The manager was a rude and horrible man who told us we must have left the safe unlocked because there was no possible way we could have been robbed. (I kept the key in my waist pack at all times.) The following day, while in the laundry room we talked to another guest and the same thing had happened to her! The manager told her the same thing. BEWARE if you go to this hotel. It certainly is not a nice enough hotel to chance losing your savings!!

Dated decor. Reasonable price for a large room near the theme parks with very few amenities. Good place to stay if you are on a tight budget and don't plan to spend much time at the hotel.

This could be an outstanding resort if the rooms were refurbished. The carpets were dirty. The bathroom floor was nor clean and the overall living space could use a fresh paint job. The grounds were kept very clean and the pool was spotless. We had a problem with the air conditioner which was repaired promptly.

I to was concerned about some of the reviews I had seen on this site but as soon as we walked into our room all fears were gone. Our room was clean and spacious with a nice view. We had a corner room with 2 balconies. The kitchen had everything and more to make our stay comfortable, there is a publix supermarket about a half mile away which I highly recommend. The swimming pool was clean even the guest seemed a little more friendlier. Sea World and Universal are around the corner and Disney about a fifteen minute ride. Our stay there was relaxed and the staff was always helpful. We stayed at the Parc May 16 -21 and plan on returning next year.

After reading some of the reviews I almost wonder if these people stayed at the same hotel. We spent a week there in March with our two teenage daughters. Had lots of room for everyone. Enjoyed having the two full baths. Found the unit clean and comfortable, everything we needed was there. No problems with bugs and no musty smell, maybe different times of year change the conditions of the units. Of course it was no problem to tell it was an older complex but we weren't looking for luxury just comfort and close to amenities. Pool area was clean and the pool never was crowded as most people are out at the parks during the day. The staff that we encountered were friendly and helpful. No problems getting washer/dryer. All in all we had a great week and definitely would return to Parc Corniche

I don't understand what all the fuss is about,My husband,daughter & friend stayed 2 nights and we felt right at home. The condo was neat and clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. I didn't get the Ritz and I didn't pay for the Ritz. But I did get a nicer place then I expected. By the way we stayed there the nights of May 1&2 2004

we stayed for two nights - the hotel was clean, good price & great sleeping arrangements for 2 couples and a single in one suite. I give it 3-4 stars The cafe on the premises however I would give ZERO stars!
